There is no trick, or even Magic with Jason.
I mean "magic" is subjective as hell, and if you want to get lost in the semantics of the concept with some bloated Penn and Teller soliloquy, yada yada yada.
Jason has spent 35 years mastering the art of control. When he shuffles, he can shuffle 1 card per side at a time, multiple from one side or the other, etc., no matter what shuffle style he chooses. When he cuts, he knows by touch the exact number of cards in the packet. With that kind of control you can create all kinds of effects. You can not learn a Jason magic trick, which is why he never teaches the damn things. He already tells you how to do the "tricks" on a weekly basis: Spend 4 decades on a craft and be the GD GOAT.
