Another inspiring Video you helped fix a log standing problem with Bootcamp on my 2014 MacBookPro i was missing the critical link once again thanks for filling in my knowledge with a clear concise and well made VideoClip. :)
so everything worked following this guide. nice video! my only problem i'm seeing is the bluetooth driver is not functional the windows support software installed everything just fine and windows update installed the rest just fine but the only driver that failed was the bluetooth and there seems to be an issue with the graphics card driver so i had to undo everything and install using bootcamp assistant on imac. i found my issue with unreal engine (just had to switch project to use DX11 instead of Dx12)and although this install of windows ran much faster and smoother than the default windows install that you get from mac bootcamp assistant i still found that this created more problems and only after 2 hours of use i got a blue screen of death related to the graphics driver after searching the error phrase on google. so i ended up just uninstalling this using imac partition to remove the ms dos partition from the beginning and it successfully gave me a green check mark and done with no errors but when the mac shut down and i turned it on later i ran into the blue screen of death from the windows partition that had been successfully removed so it seems brigadier remained inside the boot loader for the imac annnnnd i don't know how to turn that off and remove it. i had bootcamp set to boot from Win drive so it must've got stuck in the boot sequence after i deleted the Win partition. so this left some artifacts that basically broke the boot for mac if i didn't hold down option to select the imac hard drive i had to remove using Time machine, thank god i had a recent Time Machine from last week so just be cautious guys. each mac model is equipped with different hardware and some of those hardware can no longer be updated and are no longer supported by the hardware suppliers therefore some apps such as Maya, Blender, Unity, Unreal engine WILL require the latest graphics drivers and you'll encounter so many problems if you cant upgrade or update so it's better to just use the original imac since those same drivers seem to be supported by apple. i never see a "graphics driver is not supported" error message running the same exact version of DX12 unreal engine using imac but i see it running it on windows bootcamp and i still see it using this tutorial. so it seems AMD stopped supported updates for Readeon 5300 cards which is the one Apple used for imac20,1 which is the 5k retina 27 in 2020 model. so running unreal engine on that machine works fine but bootcamp version of windows in this machine does not have a working amd radeon 5300 gpu card after install and after apple windows support software. to me this seems dumb but it's enough for me to stick with imac
I found that it was better to just install windows 10 via bootcamp, finish installing bootcamp windows support software, updating windows and then using disk manager which is built in windows to just delete the macos partition and other macos related partition. I am now left with just Windows 10 as a single os without any issues. Lastly, I used Paragon Partition Manager to extend Windows partition. This way everything was still functional including built in keyboard, trackpad and wifi + bluetooth.
Very good idea! Installed it the first time and got a frozen black screen during the video drivers install on BootCamp windows support software, and all the restarts would send me to the Windows Startup Repair, but tried again reinstalling the whole Bootcamp procedure, and it worked that time. You would probably need the correct drivers. Most of it should be available through Windows Update. If it is not, you could try to find the Bootcamp ESD for your model (using Brigardier or Bombardier or just Google for it), this will contain all the required drivers.

As always, when you do anything related to partitioning or anything data related, you always have to back up your Mac first to an external hard drive before attempting this.
Not sure, I think you might run into issues with missing drivers. But why would you want Windows 7 on this hardware? If it is to use some older/legacy software, I think running WIndows 7 as a VM would be easier.
I have an A2251 MacBook and after installing the drivers and running the updates, my Bluetooth is still not working. I also have some unknown devices still present in device manager.
In that case, the best is to search online using the device ID that you can find for the unknown devices in device manager. Also try for drivers in the $WinPEDriver$ of the files downloaded with Brigadier or Bombardier.

You could give it a try on another Mac or PC to check. Also some USB drives are having a different identifier and cause issues to boot from. In that case, using another USB drive can help.
i made the usb flash with media creation tool.. but it doesn't show in boot menu (option key and power on). it has to be formated in a way or another? security is like in the video.
Formatting should be taking care of by the media creation tool. To be sure, you can always do the following: - start "diskpart" on Windows - type "list disk" and take note of the disk number your USB drive is - type "select disk X" where X is the number matching your USB drive - type "clean" - recreate a partition using diskmgmt or diskpart. Another option, if this really doesn't work is to use the tutorial from my latest video: ruclips.net/video/YkvLkRxPTB4/видео.html This allows you to create the USB drive for Windows 10 installation from macOS. And if that still doesn't work... another USB drive or adapter (in case you're using one) will probably fix it.
Missing wifi probably means an issue with missing drivers. You would need to go through the Brigadier steps and get the drivers transferred to your Mac using a USB drive for example.
Hi @jensd_be I cannot open brigadier in Command Prompt. It says “Couldn’t find a Boot Camp ESD for the model MacBookAir10,1 in the given software update catalog” Can you please help me?
That's because a MacBookAir10,1 is an M1-based Macbook. There is no BootCamp package for that machine nor is it (unfortunately) possible to install Windows natively on it (yet). There is another way though, using UTM. Did a video on that before: ruclips.net/video/KUlqHmiZLyU/видео.html
It's not possible to run Windows 10/11 natively on an M1-based Mac (yet). There is another method, which I covered in a separate video. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/KUlqHmiZLyU/видео.html

Please help! when it asks me to select the hard drive to install windows, I see you just clicked on format and it worked, but mine does not, it still says windows cannot be installed in drive 1 partition 2..., none of the drives work. I have both SSD and HDD.
Thanks for sharing your solution. You mean the one with diskpart right? What worked for me when I saw this once (not on the device I had for the video), was to delete all partitions and let Windows setup create one.
You will need a bootable macOS installer USB drive The easiest is to use another device with macOS and to use the createinstallmedia script (see my other videos and/or blog for examples). Also more info on support.apple.com/en-us/HT204904
@@jensdbe Unfortunately, i erased my MacBook Internal drive and when i clicked on Reinstall OS X, it quoted, ”This item is temporarily unavailable.” So that’s why I’m thinking to install Windows.
If you have an external keyboard, make sure it's one from Apple. It doesn't always work on a 3rd party brand. Also make sure you have selected "Show all devices" in Disk Utility and select the whole drive while erasing.
Hi, fisrt of all thank you for the good work. I have an 2019 i5 MBA with 128gb ssd so i installed windows 10 on whole ssd without any problem. But my windows crushed and then i ve decided to reinstall mac os to my MBA, but even i tried to erase the disk so many times on utility there is an error code says something like" disk could not be opened :(69879)" . Now i can't reinstall windows because i dont have the AppleSSD64 driver for windows10 also. What shoul i do now? I would be so glad if you could guide me. Thanks a lot.👍
If you are able to boot up with a macOS installer, start Disk Utility and make sure to select to show all devices. After that, select the drive itself and use Erase to clean up whatever is there. If that doesn't work, you can use another PC to download the brigadier drivers and copy them to the USB drive you use with the Windows installer. (to have the AppleSSD64 driver)
In that case, you can delete all partitions once you are booting from the USB drive. Where you select where to install Windows (after loading the driver for the SSD).
Can't really try with every model of course. Did you use the correct model identifier? Where exactly is the installatie stuck? You can also check my other video (ruclips.net/video/f5ZJFxPJPJA/видео.html) this is for an older model. I have a late 2012 iMac as well so might work on some material with that one, which should be closer to your macbook.
The method should work on most iMacs/macbooks/mac pro as long as they have a x86-based CPU (Core 2 Duo, i3/i5/i7 or Xeon). Obviously I can't test this with all models so if this works for you, it would be good to leave some feedback here for others.
Sound problem i did install windows 10 last year, but the Realtek Audio wasn't working even when i tried others drivers i have a Macbook pro 2011 MACBOOK PRO 8,1
You could either try to re-download the latest drivers using Brigadier or try to run Windows update and check if there are no related optional updates. I noticed that on most devices (PC or Mac with Windows) not all drivers are installed by default, optional updates are needed to find and install them all.

You would need both a USB drive (USB-C if directly connected as it didn't work using an adapter) and a possibility to connect an external keyboard/mouse as the internal one does not work during the Windows installation.
It would be hard to find all the drivers for Windows 7 I believe. Not sure if all of the drivers from Brigadier/Bootcamp would work on Windows 7. Nevertheless, you probably have a good reason but I'd really discourage running Windows 7 today.

Another option, if this really doesn't work is to use the tutorial from my latest video: ruclips.net/video/YkvLkRxPTB4/видео.html This allows you to create the USB drive for Windows 10 installation from macOS.
And if that still doesn't work... another USB drive or adapter (in case you're using one) will probably fix it.
what did you do to connect to the wifi, i’m having a lot of trouble figuring it out
Missing wifi probably means an issue with missing drivers. You would need to go through the Brigadier steps and get the drivers transferred to your Mac using a USB drive for example.
hi im a M1 chip user, i dont get the no security option just reduced security, why is this
Hi @jensd_be I cannot open brigadier in Command Prompt. It says “Couldn’t find a Boot Camp ESD for the model MacBookAir10,1 in the given software update catalog”
Can you please help me?
That's because a MacBookAir10,1 is an M1-based Macbook. There is no BootCamp package for that machine nor is it (unfortunately) possible to install Windows natively on it (yet). There is another way though, using UTM. Did a video on that before: ruclips.net/video/KUlqHmiZLyU/видео.html
I have MacBook pro m1 2021 model and want to install windows 10 or 11 is there any way to install.

I found the solution here: superuser.com/questions/709254/overcoming-windows-can-only-be-installed-to-gpt-disks-while-installing-windows
Thanks for sharing your solution. You mean the one with diskpart right?
What worked for me when I saw this once (not on the device I had for the video), was to delete all partitions and let Windows setup create one.
mine doesn't support bootcamp
I erased the entire macOs instead of partitioning and would like to install it back any idea how??
You will need a bootable macOS installer USB drive The easiest is to use another device with macOS and to use the createinstallmedia script (see my other videos and/or blog for examples). Also more info on support.apple.com/en-us/HT204904
i will try it... but have any trouble .please soal it...
I am unable to see Startup Disk security in my Macbook Pro mid 2009 13”
I don't think this exists yet for a 2009 Mac. You should be able to boot from USB without doing any change like that.
@@jensdbe Unfortunately, i erased my MacBook Internal drive and when i clicked on Reinstall OS X, it quoted, ”This item is temporarily unavailable.” So that’s why I’m thinking to install Windows.
Hey bro, i am unable to see my bootable usb while starting my Mac holding the option key
If you have an external keyboard, make sure it's one from Apple. It doesn't always work on a 3rd party brand. Also make sure you have selected "Show all devices" in Disk Utility and select the whole drive while erasing.
@@jensdbe still I can’t see my bootable usb. I’ve a MacBook Pro 2009 mid
Would this work on a 2015 iMac?
Most likely this would work without issues, yes.
How can you change I erased all mac related files
I just want windows so do I press erase I instead of partition
In that case, you can delete all partitions once you are booting from the USB drive. Where you select where to install Windows (after loading the driver for the SSD).
Brigadier doesn´t download all drivers, i can´t get past system installation because of it I´m using a MacBook Pro Mid 2012
Can't really try with every model of course. Did you use the correct model identifier? Where exactly is the installatie stuck?
You can also check my other video (ruclips.net/video/f5ZJFxPJPJA/видео.html) this is for an older model.
I have a late 2012 iMac as well so might work on some material with that one, which should be closer to your macbook.
would this work for my Imac 2013 model?
Should work, yet
Will it work on old iMac too?? Please reply
The method should work on most iMacs/macbooks/mac pro as long as they have a x86-based CPU (Core 2 Duo, i3/i5/i7 or Xeon). Obviously I can't test this with all models so if this works for you, it would be good to leave some feedback here for others.
Okk, thanks!!
can i install atlas os?
Will this work on older MacBook pros ?
On most of them, the same method works, yes
Sound problem
i did install windows 10 last year, but the Realtek Audio wasn't working even when i tried others drivers
i have a Macbook pro 2011
MACBOOK PRO 8,1
You could either try to re-download the latest drivers using Brigadier or try to run Windows update and check if there are no related optional updates. I noticed that on most devices (PC or Mac with Windows) not all drivers are installed by default, optional updates are needed to find and install them all.
@@jensdbe i know
i used BootCamp for installing drivers.
mouse, screen and other things was better when i used BootCamp
but the Sound nothing, i tried everything.
i saw tutos on youtube but it didn't work.

this is really disgusting.

@@yassinnn_n You can fix it, but you have to be very concentrated and copy some line cods in to your Terminal, In youtube there's some vids that give the manner to do it.
but I will not do that soo i'll stay with MacOs until i get a new PC, I tried it one time but it didn't work, i think i did it wrong and The Graphic Card isn't really supported by Windows, i can't play games. it's laggy and full of wrong textures.
trash, it's not worth and don't deserve that amount of money
will it work on MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017)
Should work, yes. Good luck with the process :)

can you do this with only a usb
You would need both a USB drive (USB-C if directly connected as it didn't work using an adapter) and a possibility to connect an external keyboard/mouse as the internal one does not work during the Windows installation.
@@jensdbe i just bought a pc lol
I didn't work
Can I do this on a MacBook Pro (2020 4 port) but with Windows 7?
It would be hard to find all the drivers for Windows 7 I believe. Not sure if all of the drivers from Brigadier/Bootcamp would work on Windows 7. Nevertheless, you probably have a good reason but I'd really discourage running Windows 7 today.

Hello there,
I am stucked with the response:

You have to type "MacBook7,1". The "b" has to be a capital letter.

What exactly do you mean by that? The part fone on macOS can be done in Mojave but not sure that is what you are looking for :)

Hey my audio drivers are not working what should I do ?
There is a few things you could try:
- in the downloaded bootcamp folder, if there is a folder for audio, manually install the driver
- run windows update and install all optional drivers as well (might need multiple iterations doing this)
- look in device manager for the device ids and Google these to find the driver
