I grew up riding shotgun with my uncle in one of these what a truck even went into a ditch with him in his......took 2 telegraph poles out and 150ft of hedge

In my opinion best old skool Scania square wide cab.
Love the bonnet version ( Top Liner ).
Nothing sounds better than a V8 Scania at full noise.

I only ever remember seeing 1 Scania with a bonnet in my 4 years in the UK. It definitely surprised me!

I wasn’t amazed by the tach. My truck has one. I was amazed at how it’s hidden and that he happened to have discs.

There are a few ex Dutch Scania's 143 in the US
There is a guy on ERB Transport who has four Scanias and runs one on ERB Bruce Wilson on RUclips has 3 newer Scanias and is now in Tennessee
There are no Scanias at Erb anymore. They got sold to Donegal years ago.
