Excellent demo gentlemen. I have the Liquid Sonics Luscious Plates from the SSL Slate Complete bundle. I really like it. Then there's my Relab LX480 dual engine V4, Soundtoys Super Plate, makes it all fun making it up with dial turning.

I'm not usually a reverb person...one is the same as the next to me. However, a couple years ago I heard the 7th heaven reverb on a song and was blown away. To make a long story short I now own all of LiquidSoniics products, and I'm never going back 😃

Quite a few other reverbs have a lot of these features. But not all, by any means. I do like dialling in reflections rather than tails to create a sense of physicality. My favourite algorithmic reverb is Stratus (and Stratus 3D); but I also really like Sonnox Oxford Reverb and IRCAM Flux IRCAM Verb, as well as some emulations - plate, spring, or Lexicon, anything really. Cinematic Rooms sounds very much like a fake reverb to me - it beautifies and it is too nice - but that is sometimes what you want. Sometimes it is more important that you place something in a virtual space than that space sounds like a real one. Sometimes you want an impulse response with enough modulation options to make it sound more like a real space. Thanks for the video!

Very cool demo of the plugin!!! I noticed however that the audio for this demo video is in mono... You were demoing the width control and even when playing the track I wasn't hearing what I should have been hearing in terms of the stereo image. The only thing I heard that was in stereo was your theme music.

I really like Goldplate by Kush Audio. I also love some of the studio emulations by Universal Audio (Sunset Sound, Capitol Chambers). I'm always trying to find new reverd though. I've wanted to get the LiquidSonics stuff for a while, but it's hard for me to justify the price tag at the moment. If the Everything Bundle ever goes on sale, I'll buy it then.

The good thing with Liquidsonics is that you get an increasing discount for each one you own, so once you start buying them it gets easier (especially if you catch the Black Friday-ish annual sale). Cinematic Rooms Pro and Tai Chi are my favourites.

Great demo, guys, thanks! I’ve been using Seventh Heaven for a while now and love it on drums, vocals, etc. But I kept hearing about Tai Chi, watched some demos and bought it. It’s my new fave - such amazing presets out of the box. But you really need the full version, as it’s worth it to get all the controls. Like you’ve shown, it’s very logical and easy to tweak. Cinematic Rooms looks good too, but for now I’m happy. Liquidsonics is a great company.

@@timbrown7652 Don`t get me wrong, I own Cinematic Rooms and Tai Chi and they do sound great. I`m merely stating that Liquid Sonics don`t have a "Monopoly" on reverb as such. What they do excel in is tweakability but going by this video demonstration by Joe Carrell it makes little or no difference. If your honest the tweaks he makes make absolutely no difference whatsoever, it`s almost embarrasing. Industry standard is thrown around these days to convice people they are missing out on something. I own, or have owned a number of reverbs over the years and can quite categorically state that the vast majority of them sound the same. Pre delay, hi-cut, low-cut, distance, width, reflection.....etc it`s all digital, it`s all the same. I can match the settings on Cinematic Rooms to, lets say, Inspirata and get the same results, lets face it, the end user has no idea and you have saved yourself £400.00. I`m not a "VST WARRIOR" I`m just a realist. Buy whatever you want but think twice before you do!
