Started my first re-watch with your reactions and loving it. You two beautiful people really know how to pay attention and really dig deep as we go along. I find myself impatient for each episode because of how entertaining and enjoyable your reactions are.✨
Great reaction. I absolutely love watching this back with you guys knowing how it all ends. I really hope you both avoid spoilers! Roll on the next one
@FandomZone, Keep speculating! Don't worry about being wrong or right--we've been there =) Big clues coming next episode! Every episode gets progressively better. That's all I'm going to say =)
I also think Rio pushed Teen through the glass on rewatch. I think she was testing Agatha’s reaction. In the first episode she used wind to push Agatha around so it’s part of her power set.
Agree. They have a moment at the beginning of the episode where they’re both looking at Teen in a mirror and Agatha turns to Rio and says “no.” Then just before everyone gets attacked by the curse and Teen gets thrown, Rio asks Agatha why she brought Teen, then says she’s bored and wants to cause some damage.
You're right - the curse was a fire curse and the Teen was attached with wind which Spoilers .....He gets thrown through a glass green house in exactly the same way later
on rewatch of this episode, i think the reason teen got thrown instead of burned is because he isn't a woman. in episode three, alice said that "[lorna] said that all the women in our family were cursed." so, i'm assuming that's why lilia and jen got burned but teen got hurt in a different way because the curse couldn't, well, curse him.
Watch back Rio and Agatha’s fight in episode 1, though. The way Rio throws Agatha across the room with a strong gust of wind… kind of familiar, no? At the beginning of the trial Rio and Agatha also have a moment where Rio is looking at Teen in the mirror and Agatha tells her “no.” And shortly before Teen gets thrown Rio literally says she’s getting bored and wants to cause some damage. This is also meant to be the “fire trial” and the curse attacks and makes its presence known with fire. The idea that it would use wind on Teen because he’s a boy doesn’t really make sense to me tbh. VAGUE SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 8 . . . . . . This isn’t the last time we see Teen get thrown through glass, either.
So much fun re-watching the show with you. Really enjoying your reaction & discussion seeing what clues you get and which you miss. Some of your expectations will come true and some will be subverted. As good as the show has been, it only gets better from here.
If you look at the color of the leaves on the road, it will tell you whose trial is next. We started with white leaves and white is Jen's color. This time the leaves were red/orange indicating that Alice's trial is coming up.
True though I think it's the element/moon phase of the upcoming trial. They started the road with blue leaves (Water phase/potions) and now they're red (Fire phase/protection). Jen's personal/power color is pink, hence her normal outfit. But I'm glad I wasn't the only who noticed that trend! This show has so many Easter eggs in almost every shot
@@ashtond6390The leaves were white. They looked slightly bluish because of the lighting from the moon. Jen always wears white. These are not classical Greek elements. The blue for water would have been a deeper blue color.
@@knighthawk3749 Yes, the moon was in the Water phase (full) and had a lovely blue tone. Only check out this article if you've finished the show (and want to geek out on a bunch of Easter egg details), but check out the Variety article from October 25th with the show creator JS. She really breaks down the Easter eggs for episode 7 well, and explains why the roots of the trees from the end of a previous episode change color, and why Jen's hero color is pink, and why she dresses in a pink dress like a princess when not in a trial and from when they first sing the Ballad. The costume designer also goes in depth for each outfit in a Oct 7th interview on the Marvel site, and in an official video posted on Marvel's YT page about a week ago. Sorry! I just really geeked out when the show ended and did a deep dive into all the fun details. Definitely agree there are different elements and origins incorporated.
@@dizdude897Agreed. There's a video on Marvel Entertainment from 6 days ago breaking down each character's outfits and hero/power colors, and the show creator does interviews after every episode breaking down Easter eggs like the tree roots being blue, red,etc for the upcoming water, fire, etc phase trials and such.
@stephendaniels2213 not really. I'm not being rude to you or called you names. I didn't even @ you, so i was not talking to you. You are the one who is trying to pick a fight. Implying someone needs help or is acting crazy is really tired. In other words, I was talking to you, so what now? You wanna keep replying even when i made it clear i was not talking to you?
Enjoying your reactions. Keep in mind when thinking about power dynamics that real world or magical power is not the same as having the power within a relationship. Note that Agatha is the one saying "No" or "Yes (until you break the mood with your hard truths)" I think Agatha is more comfortable being in control. ;-)
Agatha Harkness - Hero who has fallen too far, or Villain seeking redemption? No one knows, especially not Agatha. No hints or spoilers from me, except to remind you that NOTHING in this show is a coincidence, that the costumes reveal everything (if you know what to pay attention to), and sometimes the truth is more deceptive than the lie.
That's a simple storytelling trick. Have a character oppose the POV of the story without explaining their motivation. Instantly unlikable. And in this story, our POV is not with any of the characters. We are watching the group from the outside. This allows it to put the supposed protagonist in that "unlikeable" role.
It's funny to rewatch the show from the beginning knowing all the secrets and plot twists of it. This show is so well writted
jen did heal teen, it was to show she can still do analog magick despite being bound
Don't steal their struggle.

The Three of Swords is about sorrow or grief (remember Vision asked, "What is grief but love persevering?").

Please be careful with comments from here out. People are starting to do teasers that could ruin the mysteries for you.
They are so annoying. I don't understand what they get doing that, except for a oittle meaningless attention on the youtube comment section. So dumb
