One of the Best what a truly remarkable performer. His timing and delivery were impeccable. Thank you!
Actors like Roger are so rare. This guy could make you laugh just by saying a word or two. Every moment of him in OFAH is a pure masterclass. The timing and the expressiom he had was something only few people have.
One of a kind. Great talent.. Rip..
Spot on!
Roger, you will always bring a smile to our faces. RIP mate!
Very true. He was a extremely talented gifted man
Yea he will one off the best he was rip Roger Lloyd
RIP Roger, you will always be with us in this way, making us laugh and warming our hearts.
@Ernie Barnes No matter what mood I'm in, trigger always makes me laugh 😁
Roger.............you were brilliant, what a shame you left us early. RIP, I’m sure you are making the angels laugh with your perfect timing and impeccable acting.
Trigger ......ABSOLUTELY GOLD as was Only FOOLS and Horses...I'm from US and I have every episode. I must watch those DVD over 100 times and laugh harder and harder each time
He had a remarkable comic talent. The scene when Del falls through the bar has won many plaudits. For me what makes it as funny as it is is Triggers reaction. No words spoken, just a visual reaction. Brilliant.
I so agree.... The look on his face as he whirled around looking for Del!
Brilliant indeed.
No modern day so called comedian comes anywhere near Trigger & his many other characters.

Fantastic actor, Roger Lloyd Pack! R.I.P.
Comedy timing on stratospheric level!!! You always knew it was coming but he had u laughing everytime Genius! May you rest up peace thank you so much for the laughter SIR🥰
“Would you please raise your glasses to our future mum and dad, Cassandra and Rodney”
“Cassandra and Rodney”
Trigger - “Dave”
Yeah it’s the funniest ever 😀
An absolutely outstanding actor! His comedic timing and characterisation was faultless. Also was utterly scarey playing John Lumig in Doctor Who! Sadly missed!
Superb actor.
What a man what an actor YES ACTOR he should have been in loads more movies His timing was beyond approach R.I.P. a very very sad loss to us all !!!!!!!!!!!
Roger Lloyd Pack not a fool but a certified comedy genius who stole all the best lines in only fools and horses, a masterclass for future sit com actors. RIP Roger so sadly missed.
"You put a bit of music on, Dave?"
Yes. Mozart's Symphony Number 38 In D Major
It’s a Karaoke version.
Ain't there no words to this, Dave? 😂
@@augustinberishaj No Trig it's instrumental
I watched Tinker, Taylor, Soldier , Spy last night on Tv and Roger Lloyd-Pack was in it . Amazing actor.
He was also in "Dandelion Dead", the story of Armstrong the poisoner, 1920s; he was brilliant as a straight actor
@@suemassey5076 and acted in George gently. As a rich lord.
Mr Lloyd-Pack had perfect comedy timing !
What a fantastic character actor Rodger was , and I heard he was a wonderful human being as well
When rodders passes through the Pearly gates eventually, you can imagine the first thing he’ll hear... Allright DAVE
Top comment. Did make me chuckle.
Oh yes!! 😂😂
Alright Trig
@@ou8428 In that resigned, totally exasperated tone of rodders because he knows there no point in telling him that is name is Rodney 😂😂😂
Roger is one of my all time favourite actors ever ❤️👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
He was also John Lumic, the creator of the Cybermen in Dr Who and played the role brilliantly! RIP Roger
Trigger what a guy and Roger what an actor , we all know someone like a Trigger and he managed to nail it . The one liner`s , expressions and mannerism's . He pulled it off every time for fantastic comedy and the guy had me in tears of laughter .
And I lost my Dolphin
RIP, amazing actor
"Trigger's broom" was the best one ever.
It’s entered the English Language as a turn of phrase and you can’t do better than that!
Yeah and they flippin' missed it out!
Yes copied from open all hour's. Ronnie barker saying
RIP Roger Lloyd never forgotten one of the greatest actors the world ever had
My favorite character in OFAH. What a pure comic genius. Miss you so much already 😢
Strange that he is gone, I feel he is still here.
He is, its just he has 17 new heads and 14 new bodies
@@jameswest4692 funny as fuck that
"So what's Dave, a nickname?"
Rodney: "NOO !!! You're the only 1, who calls me Dave. Everyone else calls me Rodney. The reason they call me Rodney is because Rodney is my NAME" !!!.
I miss him so much... RIP....
what a brilliant comedian he is! I wish he were more on tv. ....and he was surrounded on "The Vicar..." and "Only fools .... by the best! just brilliantt
Legend. Sadly missed
Wonderful a true genius
Apparently on set he stayed in the character of Trigger, even off camera according to the rest of the crew lol. RIP Roger.
6 minutes really doesn’t do him justice
Matthew Duncan needs atleast 60 minutes
I think he would have been ecstatic having 6 minutes with the vicar
Absolutely cracking. We lost a gem when Roger died x
He had some funny scenes in another BBC sitcom called 2point4 Children as Jake Klinger. Very underrated it hasn't even been fully released on DVD.
yeah i used to like that
It's strange how some thing's work. Remember only fools and horses was a flop for years and didn't get the ordance or another views . And suvallan was asked to scrap it. And he said no. And year's latter on a repeat it just took of.
@@abbimilagon5499 I don't think that was just the case, there was a few other things in play
Adored him in vicar of dibley
One thing, very sad his passing but he will ALWAYS be with us in Fools & Horses and Dibley.
He was the epitome of comedy genius, dead pan face took comedy up a notch.
Hope you're making your new neighbours laughing like hell.
"Ireland" looool
Pack is a brilliant comedian!!!!
So sad, what a great actor. Missed always.
How did he die?
@@suemassey5076 Pancreatic cancer.
@@dragonenglish1014 Thank you
@@suemassey5076 You're very welcome, Miss Massey.
uplifted my down times BIG,BIG, miss
Me and Dave haven’t got all night! 👍
What a true talent he was
When I saw the Naked Civil Servant on t.v recently, and Roger Lloyd Pack was in it, I couldn't take it seriously again. Just waiting for a Trigger comment to happen. Lol
I love rlp. Brilliant comedy actor .1 of our very best .
A gem of an actor .... serious or comedy, he could fit the part !
Rewatching all the series. You kinda have to bear in mind the time it was shot and forgive a few monologues and dialogues. For me Roger was the best thing about the series. I always looked forward to what he would say in every scene he was in. Such comedic timing. Talented!
Got to love old trig he was such a scream, its a shame they dont make em like this anymore
How could you not love this man
It's a bit of a shame he only seems to be remembered for two comic parts. I remember him in one episode of The Bill playing a scary nightclub owner. Really dramatic and convincing.
ALL Americans should watch this. A true example of great British Humour ( that's humour, not humor )!
Roger Lloyd pack absolutely hilarious he played trigger in only fools absolutely brilliantly he really made that show at times fantastic actor
Del: You know my brother don’t ya trigg
Trigger: ye course I do! How ya doin dave?
Del: 🤔
Rodney: 🙄😞😔😒😔😩
He was good-looking too.
Greatly missed!
OMG Duc Phuc , i like your cover version. Love it !
I love the Ireland joke 😂
To be honest, anyone that gets to work with Roger-Lloyd-Pack is lucky in themselves to meet a true legend and a perfectionist actor, god bless you Trigger! - WithoutUHere x
Where's Trigger's broom? Still one of the best comedic moments.
How is the clip from only fools and horses where trigger is talking about how he had the same brush for years not in this compilation... that was a golden moment
it's the scrip writers!
brilliant imagination
Hugely talented actor and so very missed
Indeed
He was a serious actor as well...appearing in the borgias
priceless actor
Classic dead pan humour.
What a handsome man. May he rest in peace.
Brilliant
Roger Lloyd is brilliant. Because I recognized one of the other actors from another show, I started watching clips from "Fools and Horses" a few days ago and laughed my asp off. Now I'm looking for other shows with the same actors. Will appreciate any suggestions. I wasn't around when these shows originally aired. So they are all new to me.
I was waiting for the broom one 😔
I can't stop laughing, he was great. A good distraction for what's going on right now.
"These are such a giveaway, aren't they?"
I make it that he was one of three people to be in more than one of the shows that made it to the final 10 in the BBC's 2004 series on Britain's Best Sitcom, the others being Ronnie Barker and David Jason. Interestingly, each of them had a different combination of statuses of the characters they played in them - one played the main character in both of the series he was in (Barker - Fletcher in Porridge and Arkwright in Open All Hours), one played the main character in one and a secondary character in the other (Jason - Del in Only Fools and Granville in Open All Hours) and one played a secondary character in both (Lloyd Pack - Trigger in Only Fools and Owen in Dibley)
Britbox, the service that you have to pay for to watch programs that you have already paid for with your licence fee. No thanks.
Trigger: "I'm gonna live it up, gold beaches, blue skies."
Rodney: "Awh sounds great trig where ya goin".
Trigger: "Ireland."
😂😂😂🇮🇪👍
How's it going Dave?
You missed the Water Board one where the guy is telling them they are ready for everything, he turns around and gets flattened with the line. "He wasn't ready for that"
Anyone else remember him as Jake Klinger, Ben's plumbing business rival from 2point4 children?
Yes, wasn’t he brilliant!
Two things missing from this collection of clips. One is he starred in a CHUBBY BROWN video called U.F.O. ( U FCK OFF!!!) 😃😄😄😃😄😃😃😄 & Also was in a Dr Who edition as a MADMAN with his CYBERMEN. Everyone that remember the LATE & well talented R.L P. will remember him in these. But, we will always remember him as TRIGGER. 👋👋👋👍
National treasure❤ RIP
What a legend a great guy and will never be forgotten trigger will never be topped 💯💯 alright Dave honestly gets me every time haha I mean everyone's called Dave I guessed a barman's name was Dave all because of trigger haha never heard his name I just said to my mum call him Dave or something and she did and he goes yeah what you like 😂😂 honestly r.i.p mate top top top actor 💯💯
He left us too soon. May God rest him.
His non comedy appearances in Harry Potter & Doctor Who were great as well
Agreed!!
R I p to one of the best
" oh dear, i have just trod in something brown and its certainly not chocolate cake"
I thought he was very funny! Made me laugh during the years. I didn't know he passed. Sorry to hear that.
The chinese fireball oooooooooooh
What a fucking legend R.I.P
Fly high 🕊
It takes a genius to play an idiot 😀 Great actor / comedian 👍Respect 😔
Rodney: "Why do they call him "Trigger" ?. "Is it cos he carries a gun" ?. Del Boy: "No, it's cos he looks like a horse". "Roy Rogers had the real 1 stuffed".
R.I.P at least your with the comedy angles that made us laugh British comedy is not the same
I think he was the funniest character in ofah and the vicar of dibley.
greetings from your american cousin,i think i first saw him as a waiter in 1984? or some movie like that,a non speeking part, sorry to be so late to the party but i will be watching these series on youtube now that i found them.
A kind soul out there, who can inform me of the song being sung in the end of this episode ?-))
@Oasisbeatle123 A million thanks for your kind answer, you're a star !!-))

❤ he improved with age and grew more handsome and sexy
😢

Hello Dave
He played Barty Crouch in Harry Potter Goblet of Fire and did a great job but after years of watching him as Trigger and Owen Newett I kept expecting him to do or say something funny.
Old Guys was good too.
You missed out his broom......
