I spent a good hour trying to solve this, and and for some reason I was convinced the connections would reset when pulling the box under the device - alas all I had to do 😂
I wasn't sure what they mean by backwards, I ended up grabbing the box inside the "fenced" area, and you can jump on the rocks and jump back over the wall with the box into the main area. From there it was easy, but after watching this vid I see where I messed up and could have done it properly.

It’s not your fault, this is the only puzzle I can think of that requires you to do that.

OMG, I'm so stupid. To solve this puzzle, I jumped on the rocks with a cube, and I did it. I just came here to see how people solved this puzzle.

I totally cheesed this after being thoroughly stumped by it for like half an hour. I somehow used the box to put the activator on top of the wall lol

First puzzle I was too dumb to solve on my own
Just had to see how this was supposed to be solved. Ended up jumping on the walls a couple of times and glitching it.
I somehow found a glitch in this one, when you stand on a box really close to a wall you can place the activator on top of that wall.
This one was piss easy for a number 8
