I am 75 and started singing with my same band when I was 14 .We lasted over 30 years together and many,many gigs as a hobby and for our love of music. Today I use backing trax and miss the LIVE backing. When the music is in your veins , especially the music of our day , like we hear on this channel and the way they are sung by ‘us oldies’ , the shivers just come!!
My God, where have all this talent been hiding all these years?!! This is so beautiful. Seniors can do the old songs the most justice. Every one of them, killed it, man oh man!!
It was not that easy to be exposed to the public as it is now days. Some of them are probably ex-pro singers, or just people who never had the opportunity to be shown as real music stars ad they are. Many of us, who had the skill to sing, had to continue helping our parents and family doing other jobs to sustain our houses. 30 or 40 years ago things were really different than today.
So pleased some countries have chosen to hold a Voice for Seniors!! There's so much wonderful talent in our Senior communities that get overlooked in other contests like these. Loved listening to all the musical talent!
I'm a 83 yr Senior Music Lover. Everything I do - even reading or reading I must have a good or the best music backgroung. Thank you for sharing such a beatiful and outstanding show. Congrats! Good job!

Age has a way of putting soul and feeling in the songs coming from those who have experienced life. They have been where young people are but the young have never been where seniors are.
The best the voice of all times...old school with good vibes, RICH VOICES with lifetime story, pure Melody... You should not be allowed to sing under 60's. Mamama...slows, ballads, uptemples, rock'n'roll, Blues, jazzy, classics, Broadways...oh my ma...they all KILL KILL KILL KILLED IT... EVERY EACH STYLE, EACH WORD has their true sense and meaning... So amazed.. damn all good music...need more.. Any 60+ album???
I had spine surgery and it paralyzed my vocal cords. I had planned to audition the next year for The Voice for my 75th birthday. been a heartbreak. thank you for this video.

WOW! This is a refreshing change. Everyone on the singing shows do the modern music, it's nice to listen to old classics. Young people don't give the classics much exposure, but the music back then inspired feelings missing from modern tunes. There are a lot of fantastic older singers out there who don't get much of a chance on these shows. Thank you for showing another side to life. Two thumbs up

OMG I never knew there was The Voice Seniors. I love the "old" songs, they seem so easy to sing them but when you try singing them you have to have the voice dexterity. I can't wait to see more of them.
Without these seniors to pave the way the youngsters will not exist to appreciate the natural and raw talent that these seniors have to offer. I wish I have just an ounce of talent that these seniors have. Respect!!
What I love the most about them is that you can feel how much they're enjoying the performance while they're singing. The normal one... you can feel they're always trying too hard to make a chair turn but... It's different for seniors...
They are all wonderful. Although I do not understand every language, I can feel the beauty of their voices and music. I truly admire all these terrific senior people.

Totally agree. Look Tom Jones at 80 still going strong... age brings experience and maturity, and if you have a healthy lifestyle you can still be OK at 80... even at 90 like William Shatner who just went in space lately...

He is one of the most famous bluesmen in Russia and at least 3 coaches have played with him, some even in USSR. He also wrote hymn for Sochi-2014 Olimpic Games. So he really didn't expected they will not recognize him and turn.

Thing is, the voice senior is like a nothing to loose and nothing to gain situation, they are realistically on the end of their careers, and most importantly, towards the end of their lives, so every song is sung with SO MUCH EMOTION and with so many personnal atachment that you can't help but feel emotional, it's like watching a personal representation of their own lives through the songs, so much emotion, so much joy, happiness, sadness, everything maxed out, it really is a unique and beautiful experience, not only for those who got the chance to be there, but to us aswel, who had the pleasure of watching.
It so enriching to watch all these performances in a sense that they carry a wide vast of experiences, frustration, success. It even makes 5heir voices sound more meaningful. Congrats to all the heroes! I wish I could!

real music , real voices, real talent....no pop trash, no autotune, senior talent is by far much better than the other shows...
And, with all due respect, most of the people sitting on the judges' chairs aren't as half talented as the contesters.

Thing is, the voice senior is like a nothing to loose and nothing to gain situation, they are realistically on the end of their careers, and most importantly, towards the end of their lives, so every song is sung with SO MUCH EMOTION and with so many personnal atachment that you can't help but feel emotional, it's like watching a personal representation of their own lives through the songs, so much emotion, so much joy, happiness, sadness, everything maxed out, it really is a unique and beautiful experience, not only for those who got the chance to be there, but to us aswel, who had the pleasure of watching.
