When people are willing stewards, wildlife flourish and communities thrive. Unlike many other African countries. I think it’s due to the former “owners “ of Kenya or “eastern Africa” as they dubbed it.
African community have unconsciously depleted their lands - overpopulation, overgrazing,waste management, timber use without 🌲 replacement destroying water catchments ,sloppy terrain sloughing … .
The African Governments after independence have had to cope with many challenges and thus did NOT conjure and harness the rules of nature management and more importantly didn’t invite local community participation. Local Communities are reluctant to participate fully in co-management unless they receive adequate benefits or returns as an incentive to conserve.
The future for wildlife conservancy is only through deliberate and patient midwifery which is not inborn in Africans but must be bred.

We need to think of a way to offer tourists an immersive experience in our parks, I am not sure about introducing hunting for small game, rabbits, antelopes with horses, fishing, airbaloons, etc
