- Part 1 of the Avin The Crack Belgian weekender over at Spa Francorchamps! Follow our little trip to Belgium as we take part in the Modified Ford Series round at Spa. In this part we cover the trip over, getting the car ready, and qualifying. Part 2 will cover the 2 rounds of racing.... well 1 round, and half a lap of round 2! Historically,Ford Mustang,Falcon GT40. Ford engined Cobra TVR Elan FIA spec cars all in 2.50 region.
Our fastest qualifying time was a 2.46.4 if I remember correctly 👍🏽

Nit sure how much you edited out but from the looks of if you got some big balls goin that hard on clod Avon slicks haha
She was going well, even surprised us how fast she was going. Had to edit out a bit of the qualifying and race sessions as they were 30 mins each. Going to upload a video of just the full GoPro footage from each session though soon 👍🏽👍🏽

great post. Love the incar. What sort of speed are you seeing along kemmel & through Blanchimont ?
You just cant beat a sunny wekend at Spa even with no power steering ! Good skills.
On the data sheets our max speed was 204.9kph I’d say that was along kemmel. Not sure about the rest of the track as we haven’t got anything in the car to record speeds
aiming for a sub 1m50 if its dry?
Think that might be a stretch, F1 lap record is a 1.46.2!
You’re a terrible influence, as I’ve now got huge gearbox and power envy ……
