One thing I learned of making Tyler, The Creator type beats or instrumentals. He simply use ii/V/I Chord Progressions and It works for some chill vibes. But this is awesome to give more perspective on the R&B Chords. Thanks man!
I use Ableton and GarageBand mobile but these chords still apply. I’m currently teaching myself keys. This should definitely help me craft my own sound.
7ths are flat in chords by default (watch David Bennet Piano’s video on every type of chord.) so the chord code for E7#9 would be 0 4 7 10 15 rather than 0 4 7 11 15.
