Skinny Pedal Fab unveiled their new custom built XP 1000 that features a Hayabusa engine. This thing is wicked and I can't wait to see it once he gets everything dialed in. Авто/Мото
Wow!! Soo much nicer hearing that bang through gears like a REAL race rig. Belt drive ANYTHING is a joke for serious off road racing.
@bobwatters the CVT is far more capable off road than a busa and chain drive. unfortunately. this is faster, but much less capable over all.
@bobwatters Ironic considering a sport bike is the last thing you'd want to bring off road.
@bobwatters I would imagine this is only 2wd, where as the stock SxSs are 4wd. I don't like CVTs either, but thwy have proven to work better for trails and rock crawling than the YXZ with its clucth and gears. Some of the modern SxS, like an X3 actually make good power and their CVTs seem to work well.
@bobwatters they use cvts in 4x4 trophy trucks tho
@bobwatters I was talking about yhe CVT working better at low speeds than the dual clutch transmission or manual that are used in the Tallon or YXZ.
If I'm going to drop $30k in SxS it should work and run like that..🤯👍
BlkiceMike 30k, fuck that, strippers sex drugs drink be merry😂🤣
Yeah, I'd never drop 30k on a toy. I bought mine used pretty cheap, and have been building it. If I have 30k in one it's going to be because I bought it for $5 grand and dropped $25 k in it.
@@jamiegregs1192 LMAO,.. :)
Well drop 30k in the new x3 xrc turbo rr and you'll pretty much have that kind of hp from factory
@@Ryan-hp6xt ,.. totally agree!! I've been building myself a sXs 2 seater goin on about 2yrs now. So far got about $6,200 in it. i bent tube for frame, built my suspension, A-arms, disc brakes, powder coat, gsxr1,000cc engine. It'll be done rite when finally finished. Kind of a wkend project whenever free time to do so.. She'll be a beast, so i hope anyways..i couldn't drop $30k a new sXs either! especially when i can build it for a fraction of that..
My previous comment, i was just sayin,.. if a person spent $30k it should sound as good as the vid..
That looks and sounds amazzzzzzing.... That's what a side by side should sound like... And no girly boy automatic rubber band transmision..
Exactly man. I hate any and all CVT/Torque converter systems. They never offer better performance than a 6 speed manual. I don't even know why companies still try with the shitty cvts. Who wants to rev 10k RPM just to go 5 mph.
Omg lol, the geniuses in the youtube comments never sieze to amaze.
@@budddove6480 mmmmmm those hater tears ❤️ lol. They have no idea what constant max torque at any rpm feels like... H8ters gotta H8 though
That is badass! Perfect for running high speed trails and back roads!
+EXTREME SCALE PERFORMANCE RC yeah its a killer ride for sure,
Finally a UTV worth buying!
Somebody knows what type of
gear box that is in the rear end?
Looks like it could use a little lower gearing for the smaller area's like that but it's badass already how it is. I can't imagine how fast that has to be on a nice open area.
What’s the top speed on that? How fast will it go
Sweet! I love bolted tires
It looks like its almost all custom but thats what makes it badass!
Let's see some more of this machine.
What is that thing that cage is so wild and iy makes it look so good
Was the 4x4 removed for that swap
I like how he used a majority of the factory body even though its full custom tube chassis!
You know what type of gear box that is in the rear end?
+Mason Pottinger I don't sorry, I am going to try and get more video of it soon and a interview with the builder
N I C E ! ! !
that thing is beautiful
Talk about badass damn
How does reverse work when you have a swap like that? No reverse?
Parts of the factory clutch work with these motors. Some do anyway, which will give you the high/low/reverse options. I haven't built one yet but my 800s is fixing to get the swap, and I'll keep my 4x4
Studs in the tires? Is it setup for ice racing?
Probably for grip! Upgraded motor would need a better way to get all the power down!
Does he have a channel? I could listen to that thing all day
no he doesn't
now thats a fun toy!
That thing looks evil !
Sweet
to heavy for that engine. busa turbo be the way to go 😁
I concur... Forced Induction is the way to go for these UTV/SxS vehicles. 2-300hp makes them quite capable machines, without being too crazy.
Wicked
Now thats a fucking machine
Sooo...about the same horsepower as the RZR 1000 Turbos'?
where can i get a hayabusa engine?
45llamas ..out of a hayabusa
WOW
I need one.
Yeah bro is that a crochrocket motor
So, these motorcycle engines are designed for really high rpms, right? Why don't the guys with buggies do something similar, using high-rev engines instead of those monster big blocks? Are high-rpm v8's (or V6's) really hard to build/source? just seeing how effective this engine is in this small UTV makes me think a V6/8 variant (like from an F1 engine builder) would be really effective in a truck or buggie. It might not sound as cool as a big block, tho. Has it ever been attempted?
A hayabusa motor will only work in a rzr, smart car, or golf cart because of the lack of torque. It has to be lightweight to use a 'busa motor.
Bike engines lack torque, and what little they make, comes on at 10kRPM+.
When offroading, you need torque down low, grunt. Not screams and damaged powertrains. :)
That vehicle (the video) is more of a high speed desert runner, or canyon carver, versus a through the trees & mountains kind of offroading vehicle. Probably does 100mph with ease, but its slow off the line and down low, for the lack of torque.
Cheers, stay safe.
Now I know how my truck got dusty as hell.
+D. Ramp haha
+MadRam11 looked around for ya. you was no where to be found. ended up buying some BK shit instead.
+D. Ramp yeah I wasn't personally able to make it. I had a trip planned with my family. You can order from my website if you are still interested in some stuff.
holy shit is that sweet! I came twice. thank you
Gay as fuck too.
My brother built a busa rzr still has 4wd and polaris trans with auto clutch
cool
Info on how?
Thats not a RZR anymore...
it never was, thats a can am body
Отличный багги, похож на мой. Посмотрите мой.
He has a winch if I gets stuck
It might be fast but no more all-wheel drive
The no fwd part sucks, but still cool build
if ya gonna go through all the expense to build it 100% custom, why not throw in a turbo 5.3 ls. bike motors just don't make torque like you want in a 4 wheeled vehicle.
They can. Just put a Harley motor on it
Or a rocket motor!.... yeah that's it a rocket motor with a turbo and a super turbo. And lazers.. yeah that's what I'm building... 🙄🙄🙄
You know you can spin it up past 8 grand, right?
Needs boost
Why this over a z1? You can get the same power and keep the cvt.
+dr187mx guess he just wanted to use the busa engine, he is going to build another one that is 4wd
+MadRam11 They don't have reverse with them either do they?
+dr187mx he has reverse in this one
+dr187mx The Z1 swap utilizes the stock RZR transmission and 4x4 system. Jason at Hawk Engineering even has a waterproof belt housing for them for trail riders!
+Ron C (GIXXERGUY6) I know, the pace off-road z1 builds are awesome.
I would have rather done this with a Redline Revolt.
🔫🔫🔫
No longer 4x4 :(
I wouldn't put RZR any where on or around this nice looking rail. RZR are junk compaired to this awesome machine. RZR are for little kids that like riding in high performance golf carts. Thanks for sharing. I'm still laughing at the fact that someone called this a razor. Shame on you.
To bad its not a 4wd☹️
It's 2wd completely useless in the woods
Powerstroke Life not when you have around 200hp in something that weighs 2000#
@@dantekeskin1512 What kind of logic is this? Have you ever needed to get up a rocky hill? 2WD ain't gonna do shit with even 500hp. You'll be going back to camp while the others continue on.
@@dantekeskin1512 2wd and 200 hp won't do crap for you if those 2 wheels aren't getting any traction. The only place you're going to go is inside the hole you're digging. Secondly, if it's rear wheel drive and rear engine and it's a fairly steep hill, you're going to flip over backwards due to the torque generated at that angle with that kind of power. It's way tippier. The center of gravity is behind the driver.
There comes a time where you need 4wd, and I don't care if you have 10,000 horse power, you're not going to make it without 4wd. You might put on a hell of a show, sound absolutely amazing, and kick stuff 200 feet in the air, but at the end of it you'll still be at the bottom of that hill.
Ryan idk why you guys are thinking for rock climbing and mudding this is made for trails and drags and such not for your rock climbing and mudding experience...
2wd ? a bit of a waste if its not 4wd>.
+Brian Wood Yeah looks like its 2wd... Unfortunately is pretty difficult to put a motor like that in there and keep the 4wd. Its hard enough to put the motor in there period. The thing still moves quick though haha
for sure
+Brian Wood he is going to build another one that is 4wd
Thanks for the vids ram im in san diego ca and they dont have any mud racing tractor pulls ect out here ..
+Brian Wood Thanks for watching
that's not a rzr
2wd and chain driven.. thats some downside..
