  • I have 24 historical fiction books based around the WWII era!! I actually have 25 because I left out one..."Whose Waves These Are" by Amanda Dykes. I didn't realize this was set in 1944 too. Please let me know if you have read any of these books. Which ones should I put at the top of my reading list??

I am planning to read all historical fiction in June. I am going to read mostly WW2 books. I have to look at my shelf and see what I want to read. Thank you for watching! Oh do you have a favorite WW2 book?

Some great sounding books! I love WWII era books! Another interesting one about internment camps is "Farewell to Manzanar" by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston. It's a true story.

Thank you for watching. I will put that on my list to find. I haven't heard of that author. True stories are the best too.

The Ruta Sepetys books are connected. Read Between Shades of Gray first, if you still can. 😁 They have a character overlap somehow, I just can't remember how exactly.

Oh well, I will have to go backwards since I didn't pay very good attention to their order. I still think I will enjoy it. I do want to try other books by her in the future as well.
