  • This project inspired by isolation boredome at the first year of Covid19 Epidemic. Kinda very late post.
Since I got some crashes and broken parts before, I wanted to use them all properly in a form of custom Mini Hexacopter.
Tried to make it still in compact dimension based on my original 215mm quadcopter frame so I modded the frame geometry to utilize another 2 arms which will implement interlapsing propellers.
Since it got Six Rotors, I found its beauty yet intimidating, just like Goddess Kali. So I called this Project as: KALI215.
    Here were the specs:
    1. Frame: Acrobot Transformix V1 215mm - Stretch X Mode (old favorite from Indonesian FPV scene)
    2. Extra Arms:
    Eachine Tyro129 5 mm Arms x 2 (trimmed)
Broken Acroboth Zenith Arms x 1 (adapter mount for 2 extra arms)
    3. FC: Airbot F7 (tried adding 2 extra motor pins, but only got one pad worked. Later changed to Matek F722)
    4. ESCs:
Aikon AK32 4in1 35A (broken, only 3 motor outputs worked, use only 2 outputs)
Airbot Furling32 4in1 45A (good condition, use 4 motor outputs)
    5. Motors:
Rotorriot Hypertrain Freestyle V1 2306 2450kv x 2 (remaining of a crash unit, the bell were very disappointing)
    Emax Eco 2306 2400kv x 4 (nuff said)
    6. Camera: Caddx EOS2 (only for testing, later changed to Caddx Turbo F2)
    7. VTx: EWRF 7082vm (only for testing, later changed to Tyro79 VTx)
    8. Receiver: FrSky R9 Slim
    9. LiPo:
    4S 1500 mAh 95C Acehe (recommended)
Dji Phantom 4 / 4S 5200 mAh (can fly but very inagile)
