Another classic album to remember - I can still remember playing this to my friends in France - OMG sends shivers down the neck - Plungington Road in Preston - we played this day and night along with the great 80's music (Carlo and mates - love you all - it was a blast)
cafe bleu and pacific street by the pale fountains are always twinned in my mind both released within two months of each other in early 1984 both have got the same vibe
I am not cool when it comes to music. Just lucky. An lp like this for a 15 year old in middle America seemed cool. A step on a path. Even The Jam diehards should give it up. : )
