I love my Stihl trimmers, but the very first thing I do when I get a new trimmer is switch over to a Echo Speed Feed Head. Then I make up a bag full of precut and wound line using a bread tie to hold the wrapped line together. I then start the day out with a new line in my back pocket and when the trimmer runs out, in seconds, I'm back in action. Great video, keep it up guys!

I've always been a huge fan of the echo speed feed head, might need to look into this one and try it out myself
Recently bought one of these speed feed heads, but having watched a few videos, having much better success with the original Ryobi heads, bump feed and fixed length. Holding it in reserve untill required. Great simple video, BTW. Subscribed and liked.

What line diameter did you use to load the head? The ultimate capacity of head is dependent on diameter of line.
If you know the length of the line that was to be loaded, why not just measure the two pieces that were cut off to ascertain the lenfth on the spool?

I ordered one of these heads on Amazon(mistake) and I'm missing the colored adapters that should have come with it. Where can I get the adapter I need to fit my Echo SRM-225?
Are the bump caps on the larger ones interchangeable with echo speed feed 450? Echo just discontinued them so worried about future
On an SRM-225 (Echo) there is a black plastic piece with a spring with a nut holding it on the shaft. Should that be removed? The instructions are not clear on this point.

The universal kit, has lots of various hardware, it may be worth a try
which one would work on a Kobalt 24 volt Strimmer
I don’t believe any of these would fit on that, we are not the experts on kobalt
Hi! I work at an ace hardware and I know some about our stihl products but not all. Are all trimmer heads universal? I think no. The model numbers on what they can be used on are on the box, correct? Just flood my comment section with stihl trimmer education please.

Does this fit the Honda GX35?
If you were to purchase the aftermarket universal kit it should have the various hardware included to make it fit
Will it fit a 36v Makita?
I just put the 375 head on Makita XGT 40v line trimmer attachment. Works perfectly. Just use the spacer and the Gold thread that was in mine was correct.

These work on 40 volt trimmers
People do not Remove the head just to remove a piece Line and remove the old line pop back together. I like stew was having them non coffee afternoon or something....hahahaha

This head will not work on a STIHL FS 40c or like bent shaft trimmer.
