I love my Stihl trimmers, but the very first thing I do when I get a new trimmer is switch over to a Echo Speed Feed Head. Then I make up a bag full of precut and wound line using a bread tie to hold the wrapped line together. I then start the day out with a new line in my back pocket and when the trimmer runs out, in seconds, I'm back in action. Great video, keep it up guys!
Thank you for helping Al , the new lawnmower was great to watch. Thanks for your informative video. My husband has a speed feed and i didn't know how to refill it. He passed in September. Thanks to your video i can now refill it.
Guys, there’s really nothing I can do for you except to say thank you and how amazing it is that you guys gave them our way. I understand it’s all in business, but you still did it and that’s amazing.
Recently bought one of these speed feed heads, but having watched a few videos, having much better success with the original Ryobi heads, bump feed and fixed length. Holding it in reserve untill required. Great simple video, BTW. Subscribed and liked.
What a great company! Helping out a great man (Al Bladez) Who helps out his fellow people!! I wish I was down that way I would do all my business with you guys for sure!! I hope you guys see a lot of business head your way!! I know you didn’t do it for that but I hope that is the end result!
I ordered one of these heads on Amazon(mistake) and I'm missing the colored adapters that should have come with it. Where can I get the adapter I need to fit my Echo SRM-225?
On an SRM-225 (Echo) there is a black plastic piece with a spring with a nut holding it on the shaft. Should that be removed? The instructions are not clear on this point.
Hi! I work at an ace hardware and I know some about our stihl products but not all. Are all trimmer heads universal? I think no. The model numbers on what they can be used on are on the box, correct? Just flood my comment section with stihl trimmer education please.
The speed feed Echo heads are super easy to reload. The Stihl version isn't very good. When the top of the spool wears down, it gets hard to turn. The Stihl 25-2 is a really good head. Easy to reload too.
People do not Remove the head just to remove a piece Line and remove the old line pop back together. I like stew was having them non coffee afternoon or something....hahahaha
I just put the 375 head on Makita XGT 40v line trimmer attachment. Works perfectly. Just use the spacer and the Gold thread that was in mine was correct.

Found y'all through Al Bladez video. Good stuff!
Thank you and welcome to the channel 🙂
I've always been a huge fan of the echo speed feed head, might need to look into this one and try it out myself
Al Bladez sent me!!! I'm now a subby
Awesome, welcome to the channel.
What line diameter did you use to load the head? The ultimate capacity of head is dependent on diameter of line.
Will it work on a battery operated Ryobi?

That means the world to us. Thank you. 🙂

Great video. I’ve been wondering about these.
What do you think then?
@@mainstreetmower pretty awesome. It would definitely save time. Are they durable with tall grass and weeds?
Awesome and informative video! Thanks!
If you know the length of the line that was to be loaded, why not just measure the two pieces that were cut off to ascertain the lenfth on the spool?
Will it take Rotary's "Copperhead" line? It's the best line I have used.
Would the Shindaiwa Speed Feed 400 Universal fit a Troy Built TB80EC 2 cycle trimmer?
🔥🔥🔥

Yeah. I use the speed feed 450. It wholes 24ft of .095
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Will this fit a craftsman 29cc straight shaft trimmer?
Will that “Universal” head fit on a curved shaft Stihl?

We made a video comparing all the stihl trimmer head options. It's one of our most watched videos. Search for it on our channel.
I have an Enhulk 58V trimmer. Plenty of power and lightweight but the line head is problematic.
Are the bump caps on the larger ones interchangeable with echo speed feed 450? Echo just discontinued them so worried about future
500th like right here, let's go!!!
You’re awesome!!!

which one would work on a Kobalt 24 volt Strimmer
I don’t believe any of these would fit on that, we are not the experts on kobalt
I lost you at "flip this back on" HOW??
Can I swap an Echo speed Feed 400 head for the heads on my WORX WG184
Don’t think so
I can not find a speed head to fit my bolens bl160. Any advice?
The universal kit, has lots of various hardware, it may be worth a try
These work on 40 volt trimmers
Does this fit the Honda GX35?
If you were to purchase the aftermarket universal kit it should have the various hardware included to make it fit

Will it fit a 36v Makita?

This head will not work on a STIHL FS 40c or like bent shaft trimmer.
