Good race that realistically showcases the real life performance of both cars.Both cars were well driven, neither driver made any major mistakes. Those times seem just about right. The best time journalists got for the stang was 12.7 so in this video it seems to be just about maxed out, the driver did a good job. The m3 still has some room left for improvement but still a pretty good time.

Best time for an E92 M3 is 12.8.. so technically, stock for stock, the 5.0 is faster. Even around the track, the M3 laps only marginally faster than the 5.0. Motor Trend tested the 5.0 vs the E92 M3 and those were the results.. Ford did a really good job with the Mustang.
