bro the white color, black details, red interior, soft steering wheel, the amazing sound, the m3 e92 is already my dream car, but this is just perfection
Mmm I dno they aren't crazy fast. I sold my first e92 m3 because I got bored of it. Funnily enough I've ended up with another one I got cheap which is slowly becoming a track dedicated car
If after all the weight reduction and mods I'm still not satisfied I will probably charge it. For the streets they definitely need a charger but I'm hoping on the track it won't be necessary as your always on the move and up in the rev range
@@cxrrupt1 for a track car probably won't help lap times and most importantly the "fun aspect" I have learned from experience that more power isn't always better especially when it comes to track dedicated cars unless awd of course. But then the skill aspect kinda goes out the window which I now realise you need. Awd 700hp evo pin and hold round most corners. Sounds a lot still but once the cams throttle bodies etc get installed I am hoping to be as near as possible to 500hp with no FI. The stroker may come in a year or so but the build has got out of hand as it is. The most exciting thing for me is the drexler differential with 3.62 final drive that will be badass
@@noellear Yes 500bhp is a nice power level for the track especially considering weight reduction. With the things you’re doing i’m sure there’s no need for a small twin setup as you’ll most likely hit that mark with the stroker. I’ve never gone through the hassle of building a track car personally, just too many small details to consider. But from what i’ve seen IF you do ever want more power run the twin setup in hybrid operation that way your powerband will stay mostly linear, should be a nice 600hp setup. A supercharger adds just a little too much weight
ir has a supercharger , not a turbo, and you can keep on top of the rod bearings by doing oil analysis ..basically, if they find some rod bearings, a specific type of copper Iirc, in the oil, you know they are wearing, and need to be changed
I’m looking at picking one of these up very good condition 2008 M3 E92 Manual with carbon fiber hood for 30-35k 115k miles, it was also just supercharged. Is that a decent deal?
This car is a bmw e92 m3. The e92 generation means it is a 3 series coupe from made from 2004-2013. The m3 is the top trim (most expensive/coolest). Generally all e92s looks similar and there are lots of them, so you can snag a non performance model for cheap if you like the looks
Actually no, because of how well gearing is on the e9x m3, it puts its power down great, can use all power if you know how, just gotta have driver mod.

Nice car, but the v8 has no torque, compared to LS or LQ, and it problematic, not to mention, this is the top end of the block... so why invest so much for 350hp and headaches ?
Wrong, and it doesn’t need torque since it revs to 9k rpm. Chevy and other American cars do need torque since they only rev to around 5.5k rpm. S65 is actually pretty reliable, so is dct trans which is alot better then chevy a6 or manual. Stock motor, stock dct and an e92 m3 made 726whp.
