If after all the weight reduction and mods I'm still not satisfied I will probably charge it. For the streets they definitely need a charger but I'm hoping on the track it won't be necessary as your always on the move and up in the rev range

But surprisingly a fully stripped E92 m3 is a whole different beast compared to stock. Take away 250kg and it really changes the car. It's in for a lot of work currently. Recaro podium seats, full akrapovic exhaust going In carbon propshaft carbon doors perspex along with every single arm joint etc from spl all lightweight stuff. Should hopefully touch 1350kg. Sounds a lot still but once the cams throttle bodies etc get installed I am hoping to be as near as possible to 500hp with no FI. The stroker may come in a year or so but the build has got out of hand as it is. The most exciting thing for me is the drexler differential with 3.62 final drive that will be badass
@@noellear Yes 500bhp is a nice power level for the track especially considering weight reduction. With the things you’re doing i’m sure there’s no need for a small twin setup as you’ll most likely hit that mark with the stroker. I’ve never gone through the hassle of building a track car personally, just too many small details to consider. But from what i’ve seen IF you do ever want more power run the twin setup in hybrid operation that way your powerband will stay mostly linear, should be a nice 600hp setup. A supercharger adds just a little too much weight

ir has a supercharger , not a turbo, and you can keep on top of the rod bearings by doing oil analysis ..basically, if they find some rod bearings, a specific type of copper Iirc, in the oil, you know they are wearing, and need to be changed

Nice car, but the v8 has no torque, compared to LS or LQ, and it problematic, not to mention, this is the top end of the block... so why invest so much for 350hp and headaches ?
the s65 v8 is one of the best v8s ever made . 100hp per liter , intoxicating sound , power all around , 8300 redline
