MegaMan Model AAA Yea AOF3 was a HUGE step up in terms of fluidity and animation in the series. To bad the presentation, roster, etc felt lacking.
@@orlanzo2621 The fact that they stuck with the bar that drains when you use a special move is hella impressive. Great, anti-spam and all. But at what price? It's a baffling mechanic that frankly surprises me when I see it done in another game at all.
Either way, beautiful game nevertheless, as usual from SNK. But Art of Fighting's relevance owed a lot of it to King of Fighters, while Fatal Fury actually can stand on its own.

Ryo and Roberto fighting choreography is like if they were on a movie stage with cameras rolling.
Synopsis :
Sergeant Garcia is tracking Zorro in Mexico after locating him, he calls his cousin Roberto Garcia who is an expert martial artist to knock Zorro down. Roberto brings with him is best friend Ryo for getting some help. But what Ryo and Sergeant Garcia ignore is that Zorro and Roberto are actually the same person... (if you want see the Zorro's black horse, check out the background of the AOF2 TAS video)
I like how AOF3 artistic design moved forward to get close to a japanese anime, it started to get the DNA of what will eventually become the best KOF series.
Does anybody noticed that Wyler character has inspired another character for another fighting game ? Craig Marduk for Tekken series!

This is like the Kyokugenryu Karate showcase. I learnt a lot about the interaction in their attack. They are both my fave characters to use.

I didn't even realize thst there was a Art of Fighting 3 (I consider myself a casual fan of SNK games), but holy shit how does this game not have a re-release? These animations are god tier

El juego tenía apariencia decente y semirealista, pero una pésima historia.
Merecía una mejor trama a la altura de su mejora gráfica...

La verdad que el juego tiene trabajo de Sprite impresionante Y bien trabajo. El problema fue la mecánica y el Roster en si, pero si se pulia mucho mejor las mecánicas, se hacían personajes más carismáticos o relacionados al Fatal Fury o al anterior Art of fighting. Capas hubiera tenido bastante éxito. La historia queda muy foja ala anteriores 2 entregas, pero capas pasaba

@@PeluAirstar tienes razón, de hecho si lo configuras en español(versión playstation 2) aparecen muchos errores de traducción. Mezclan portugués con español, desconozco si pasa lo mismo que la versión de arcade. Y es algo que se pudo haber corregido para cuando lo adaptaron en la compilación casera.

No conosco la dinámica del juego, pero hay que reconocer que la coreografía se mira destacadamente estupenda. Que buenos sprites los de éste juego.
La dinámica de no solo de este juegos, sino de toda su trilogía, son las burlas, ya que la barra de energía se ve afectada cuando haces la burla
Siento que SNK quizo hacer de este juego una especie de virtia fighter, lo digo por la movilidad de los personajes.

No sé si esa jugabilidad un tanto parecida a Tekken o la inclusión de nuevos personajes sin el carisma de los antiguos fueron factores que no hicieron muy popular a este gran juego. Particularmente lo encuentro visualmente muy logrado pero algo "tieso" de controles. Ojalá a futuro y con los motores gráficos actuales SNK proponga un AOF 4, esta y otras sagas como Fatal Fury y World Heroes merecen regresar a las nuevas plataformas.

Por que Ryo se parece a una versión rubia de Kenshiro?
Te recomiendo ver las cinematicas del pachinco Art of Fighting jaja ahí si es un Kenshiro rubio. Lo que pasa es que Ryo se basa mucho en varios personajes de anime y manga, solo hay que ver su diseño que recuerda a Goku, usa la frase "Ora Ora" de Jotaro, algunas técnicas del Kyokugen son sacadas de Baki y el nombre de Art of Fighting en japón es Ryouko no Ken (Puños del Dragon-Tigre) que recuerda a Hokuto no Ken.
