Yes the water weights are a good option though I don't normally set up on hard ground especially in windy conditions but on this particular job the wind conditions were pretty good and the customer had access to a water supply so it worked out ok
Yes it can be hard work on your own though I don't normally do the big marquees, 4x8m is probably the largest I do You must have been working for one of the larger companies in Maidenhead Steve, very stressful I bet!!
Hi John I’m looking to get into marquee hire trade! I’ve enjoyed watching all your videos. I’m a scout leader so I have many years of struggles with tents in all weathers. Love to hear some tips for starting a businesses from scratch. I’m well up for the challenge. Do you use actual carpet or caravan groundsheets?
Ah,a marquee would be ideal for me with this bad weather to use my inflatables outside! Are those normal water buts? I guess yours have a way of securing the strap to anchor the marquee to it. Thanks.
Great video John.
Water weights are a good option , easier to trsnsport providing you can fill up and empty on site.
Thank you 👍
