  • Angelo Agatino Nicolosi is living his dream in Aarhus, Denmark. Originally from Italy he came to Aarhus, Denmark because of the university and has now stayed on for 10 years. Based on the good working conditions and work-life balance, proximity to nature, friendly and informal atmosphere along with an interesting and motivating career at Danske Bank, Angelo has no doubts regarding his stay in Aarhus: he would do it again 100 times and would even have come earlier.

Yes, taxes are high but the social support you get from it definitely outweighs it!

I pay about 55% in taxes, but every dane has 4000 DKK every month in deduction. And some people have more deduction.

Wasn’t he talking about it between the lines? Government services are excellent, excellent biking infrastructure (he can bike anywhere), education is one of the best in Europe (and free). That’s where the taxes go. Which part of the video was he not talking about it?

With which money do you think they pay all those services? With Monopoly Money? It's what taxes are for. But also, the salaries are very good, so it's a win-win situation.
