How will Spartans get on this season?
I think maybe in the mid table, good friend Sam!!!🏋♂️
i was at this game my dad said he met you!
I hope they do well and stay away from relegation.
Mid table, they should be fine, although think league 2 will be very close this season!
Mid table imo
Good luck to Spartants from a Dundee FC fan, how cool that they dish out the unused pies from hospitality to their supporters
Thanks for all your work to promote the Scottish lower leagues. I look forward to you uploading game's we wouldn't see otherwise. Top job 👍
Thanks mate. I appreciate that. Lots more to come throughout the season!
@@FootyAdventures It's easy to become cynical about modern football; videos like this serve as a reminder of how great football can be.
Footy Adventures please go to Starks Park Raith Rovers vs Morton
Seeing the "Cinch SPFL" branding around the ground must make everyone at The Spartans very proud of what they have achieved
Big shout out to that young drummer in the ultras! Tempo was spot on, well done young man 😄👍🏻
The Spartans chairman seems a lovely fella. What a job he's done there with his staff. It's wonderful to see. Scottish football needs shaken up. This restructuring allowing teams like Spartans to come up is a small step in the right direction. The leagues need to be expanded and made 20 team leagues or more and only playing one home and away per season. It's horrendous as it stands right through the leagues. Those in charge should be ashamed of themselves.
How you hoping to get beat more wee clubs like yesterday tae mate
@@YerMawIsMySeggstoy jesus mate , try again and turn that into a sentence
@@andrewjohnston2850 I think we have just discovered where Begbie ended up after Trainspotting!
Got to agree the championship and league 1 do more damage than good to Scottish football and the SPL need a few more spaces for good teams to get a chance to turn into SPL teams ,too many clubs go down and then struggle to hold on to players and be competitive in the lower league, not great for the 10 or so clubs always bouncing up and down now if you come bottom of a 20 team league then you are pants and deserve relegated.
Good luck Spartans! 🍀🍀🍀
Another great video Sam! Get yourself down to Galabank next week for Annan Athletic v Montrose, our first ever home League One game. Definitely a story worth covering.
Brilliant vids mate...keep em coming. Good luck Spartans
Great video , good to see a new team in the league as well , lots of enthusiasm in the camp is great 👍
You videos have definitely got me taking better look at Scottish results. Noticed Spartans in the results yesterday and hoped you'd cover them. :D
Great to hear! Such an underrated product up here 🏴
Catching the man taking a photo while you were interviewing the journalist had me laughing. Great video and best of luck to Spartans this season. Your channel has really opened my eyes to Scottish football. Love following along from the States.

Scottish club football used to be miles better than it is now in all ways I remember when just about every club in
The Premier League in Scotland had at least one genuinely talented player
even clubs like Dundee &
Hibernian used to have truly star players unlike now.
I would say in Scotland we have some truly great Atmospheres in football the only ones that come close
are Argentine football fans for passion.
I personally watch lots of different Leagues from
Scotland to South Korea
& The K - League to
The M.L.S. to
The Alsvenskin in Sweeden.
The best Atmospheres you will find in football ( Soccer)
are The Old Firm games &
The Argentine Super Clasicos in my view nothing comes remotely close to them.
I am a big fan of
North America Sports aswell in particular The N.F.L. have been since 1996 when I went to Super Bowl 30 with my Dad.

Well done Spartans and good luck for the rest of the season from Spartanwomble, an AFC Wimbledon fan. My name comes from my favourite Maltese team and current Maltese champions, Hamrun Spartans . My wife is from Malta and some of her family come from and support Hamrun Spartans. All the best to you all.
Spartans are the coolest name for a football team. THIS IS SPARTANS! I hope they do well
Maybe if they were greek
Well if it's good enough for
Ajax & Sparta Rotterdam aswell as a Sparta Prague then it's good enough for a club from Edinburgh to pick a
Greek name for there club.
I am Scottish with some
Greek blood myself.
They do call Edinburgh
The Athens of The North
because of some of
The architecture of
the city.
Come on P.A.O.K fight & win.

That was cool to see. It appeared to be quite a special day for that club.
As for future video ideas, it would be great to see you at an Inverness match soon.
Love your videos Sam 🙂 you inspired me and my brother to complete touring all 18 Highland League football grounds last season & we've just become members at Buckie Thistle, hope to see you at a game this season 👍
Amazing news! I'll definitely be back up to the Highlands soon
Great to see them doing so well, what a well run, well led club, everything is so new and doing so much for the community, like with Montrose, but everything is a lot older with us 🤣
The lady on her balcony 😂
Genuinely class tifo from the young lads there!!
Great video as always pal
Well Done Sam. Superb Video
Hi. Really enjoyed your report. Looking forward to more. We are Spartan fans from New Orleans via a good friend who works with the club. Great people throughout Spartans so yes their success is richly deserved. And yes the pies are delicious. I would love to find a way import them to New Orleans to get them into our concession booths for matches. If anyone reading this has a source please share info. Go Spartans.
Loved this Sam.
All the best Spartans hope you have a great season lads.from a rangers fan
Fantastic !!
Good luck to the spartans. I will definitely one and see you guys this season.
Another great video. Are you going to the Marymass Derby at the end of this month?
you should come to thistle vs Airdrie next week unfriendly rivalry between the two clubs will be a class atmosphere since its been a while since they played each other

@@markjenks2027 it's so they can continue construction in the empty spaces behind the goals!
I was hoping you were at Killie yesterday. :)

Sam I hope you will be Falkirk soon to see our new ultras, finally the atmosphere is back at the bairns..Young Blair done a wonderful video a few weeks back
Looks like they are going places 👏
I was at that game surprised I never seen you there
Good to see another Edinburgh club climbing the rankings
nice that edinburgh is finally returning to a real hub of league football like the early 20th century when a good few teams used to represent edinburgh such as the og city, st bernards and leith athletic
14:31 No way! It's the nation's specky tube Hugh Keevins!!!
Just a reminder….. Sevco lost 1-0 to Kilmarnock 😂😂😂😂😂
Fine... I'll hit the like button for Spartans scoring against Clyde 😂
Haha sorry mate. Tough one for you I understand 🤣
I was at the Queen of 5he South game, we lost 4_3 due to some poor defence caused by Injuries but looked good overall. Much better than than losing g 4-1 to Clyde last season
Queen of the South, Scotland’s sleeping giant
You will have to come down the mighty city ground mate amazing fans 👍🏻
Please come to Hawick to see my beloved Hawick Royal Albert
There I am! 😂 12:27
Clyde are a big team 😂😂
❤
Would love you to go and watch a Gretna game or some English non league sides this season
1:50 This guy could be a voice stand in for Brian Cox.
£10 is expensive food for League 2. Good video. I can see them going places. Looks like they have money behind them judging by the ground.
for non league football videos i think you should go to kilbirnie ladeside in the first division of the west of scotland football league and also the pies are great there.
I have to say that as a Sparta Prague fan, I like the club called Spartans 😁
Haha nice. They can be your Scottish club!
@@FootyAdventures Yes now they can 😁. In Scotland I like Celtic for number of years.
£9.15 for a coffee and a sausage roll, that's outrageous
Daylight robbery.
Dod a ground visit there a few season back allowed into the changing rooms etc. Unfortunately not seen a game yet. Good to see the expansion but a shame they couldn't move the floodlights back says it all when the commentary guys can't use their new facilities properly and have to go outside to do their job😮
"We are not Gala Fairydean, we are Spartans FC"
I play for Spartans amazing club 😝😝
Spartans skipper spend his summer in Turkey then aye 😂😂 🦷🦷🦷
Hiya Sam, this is one of my new teams besides Kelty Hearts and Bonnyrigg Rose, I went to Carlisle V Fleetwood game on Saturday, the tackles were flying in most of the game, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, I think Carlisle will be fined someone threw a vape stick onto the pitch, I hope CCTV get them and ban them for life, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
Scotland has great names for their football teams. Saying this as a Welsh football fan where we have no interesting names. Scotland is better than having the boring united/city/town but great names like Spartans and Hibernian, Celtic. Hearts, Partick. Wish Aberdeen and Livingstone had more interesting names. Good luck to Spartans ... though, one can't help thinking that three top tear teams from Edinburgh, which is quite a small city, is spreading the jam thinly and allowing Celtic and Rangers to totally dominate the league. Thank God, they're kit isn't the boring all red/white kit either. Good work.
Do Spartans appeal to a particular demographic in Edinburgh - location, class, political affiliation etc? Who are their support base and how do they expect to thrive?
🤓 um acktually 🤓 spartans is a fourth-tier team and theres actually four spfl teams, the obvious two, city and ofc them haha, they play in north edinburgh and they obviously appeal to people living in said location
🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
Always awkward being the third Edinburgh club. Oh wait a minute.
fc isle of man awayyyy get it done!
Gretna 2008 v Albion Rovers
Lowland League
Saturday 15.00.
Is my suggestion Sam for
this weekend.
With Albion Rovers now
in the Lowland League for the first time ever I could see this game potentially being a banana skin game for them away
to Gretna 2008.
It would also be interesting to
see how Albion Rovers are adapted to life in the
Lowland League.

Even if it is just "a bunch ae weans" I think its great they have so many fans who turn out for being such a small club.😂
A pyramid system was LONG overdue. The idea behind being more of a 'community' type club is great but it leads to more and more fake pitches
Bunch of wains says the teenager :)
Wouldn’t call them ultras, just kids
From small acorns geat
trees grow everything has to be built just like
Spartans as a club was not built in a day nether will
there Ultra group.
All power to Spartans &
there Wee Ultra bairns they will not always be bairns but hopefully they will always be
Spartans.
Bit of a silly name for a Scottish team, if it was a greek team I’d understand🤣
Ever heard of Blyth Spartans?
I hope spartans are relegated asap cmon Albion
Clyde are massive 🤣🤣🤣 C'mon man 🙄
