Excellent, very well explained
Thank you.
is it advisable to delete connector space when there is sync issues like duplicate objects or transient objects?
Awesome session, thanks a lot for details explanation of each scenario.
Most welcome! Thank you.
Outstanding...
The Connector Space is a cache/holding place for data/changes to move to the AAD and back?
If we are facing sync issues we just cant find, like Distribution List Members will not update users to AAD.
By deleting the Connector Space we can get fresh list of changes that need to take place and Sync to AAD?
Good explanation
Hi, As you deleted connector space, what will happen when next sync occurs. Will it create new duplicate objects on Azure active directory, cause their were objects already available. Thank you.
Perfect 👍
Thank you.
Can you explain why you would want to delete Connector Space for AD and AAD connectors (a particular scenario when this would be required)?
Great video as always.
Hi Tony. We can delete connector space when we are dealing with sync issues from local AD to AAD.
I’m having a problem when I create a domain user and sync to azure AD, it requires a on premise server reboot for it to sync to azure AD. Have you come across this before?
I have quick question: Once the is synced will it show as default domain like or custom domain like ?
Hi, if you are adding UPN in on-premise as custom domain, then it will be synes with custom domain. If local domain is specified within the UPN in on-premise, then synes user will have default domain assigned in Office 365. I hope this answers your question.
@@Office365Concepts Yes I got it
my question, if we have some column in onpremise like DOB or Lastmodifieddate, after sync with Azure AD we will get those columns or not .
please help me on this
Please share video how install AAD connect in staging mode (Migrate sql database instance to difference instance )
Hey! Can we bring in groups and users from Azure AD to on prem AD using Azure AD connect?
so, is it possible to import contacts from active directory while keeping their distribution list membership details? All distribution lists are on our Office 365 tenant.
Excellent Tutorial. Could you please explain how Azure AD connect establish secure connection with azure AD. Is the communication is encrypted as we are not assigning any SSL certifcate during the installation or configuration?
perfect
How to join computers to hybrid Azure AD and its prerequisite??
Hi, I have question, How to sync user which is created in Azure AD and we want to sync it on prem AD?
Hi, currently this type of scenarios are not supported in AAD Connect. To achieve this, you can perform Soft Match or Hard Match. Please watch this video: ruclips.net/video/ome8-oVLDfc/видео.html
@@Office365Concepts Thanks for reply.
Hi, I have question. In which scenario we can delete connectors and connector space? Is it at time of migration from onprem AD to Azure AD or how it is?
Hi, Deleting connector is not recommended. Connector space can be deleted when working on objects sync related issues.
@@Office365Concepts Thanks got it
Hi,
I want to synchronise my on-premise AD to my Azure AD, but I have already manually created some users on my Azure AD, those users exist too in my on-premise AD, how can I do it please?
Hi, you need to perform either soft match or hard match.
having trouble getting our azure ad connector to work with ad group .. maybe its filtering not setup right, but I can run a dsquery -user and get affiliated ad groups on domain joined PC, but PC's in the azure domain get none of the same groups returned using that same command. I'm not sure if we don't have filtering right or even a sync policy. should a pc on the azure side be able to dsquery ad groups on the active directory side if the two are joined with the AAD connector?
You are the best mentor, excellent stuff
Thank you.
If you have any AZ-104 course please let me know all video's very well explained & knowledgeable
Hi, as of now I do not have AZ-104 course but may be in near future I will work on it. Keep watching!!
Thank you
great
Hello and thanks brilliant explanation
Could the opposite happen? Create user in azure and sync to local domain
You can perform either soft match or hard match : ruclips.net/video/ome8-oVLDfc/видео.html
@@Office365Concepts Thank you so much 🙏amazing

@@Office365Concepts thanks a lot sir ❤️
These 14 videos are great and clear so many queries without even Asking. Its not just a crash course its an in depth guide and great quick start. Thankyou for posting such good content. Yet I think there can be more video on Sync rules configuration and Also I have a query that you have done all the configuration of O365, will it work same for Azure AD including soft match and hard match other subtle features of AAD Connect. One more query that can PHS and PTA can be used together ? I am liking and commenting all 14 videos that have added so much value to me. Thanks once again.
Hi Harsh, Thank you for these lovely comments. Coming to your queries, PHS and PTA can't be used together. And when you implement AAD Connect with M365, at the backend it is implemented in Azure AD. You can verify this by going to Microsoft Entra ID > Entra Connect.
what is credential ?
Credentials are referred to your username and password.
Hi dost can u plz explain clearly what is password hash synchronisation and passthrough sync and federated one with single sign on in easy way

Just perfect, concepts cleared. Thank you.
