Her death still didn’t make any sense and is a stupid write off, plenty of other ways to go about helping out Noah, look at what they were capable of doing with the governor when they barely had any people at the prison, out smarted him. It showed the groups potential but just needed the write off so the show could have something impactful bcz who else could they really have killed.

Dale’s line to Shane was amazing, I don’t fully remember it but it was something like “you’re built for this world, I’m not. But at least I can say that when the world went to shit, I can say I didn’t go down with it”
Speaking of Dale and Shane. i think it was a good thing that Dale got killed when he did because let's face it Shane probably would've done it eventually because with how Dale kept getting on Shane's case he would've taken Dale out i mean after all Shane wasn't afraid to kill anyone who got in his way that would also include his own people.
Dale was killed off too soon, he was the "tainted meat" victim in the comic. Dale & Andrea's relationship worked fine for the comic but on the show it would've came off as creepy. Carl they should've let live since he lives to the end of the comics & ends up with Lydia. Andrea they screwed up royally because she was a badass in the comic. She was a sniper, had been shot a few times & got her face slashed up at the prison & survives all till the end of the Whisperer War when she gets bit trying to save Eugene.
@@timyac yeah they should've tried keep Frank Darabont because its pretty much universally agreed that the first 3 seasons were the best when he was directing.
Leaving Beth's character, especially her dynamic with Daryl (which could have been developed and turned into one of the greatest relationships, not necessarily romantic, of the series), "hanging like that" was definitely an absolutely beyond-wasted opportunity.
@@Neags No, she hasn't. Carol and Darryl's relationship has no possibility for romantic development - if it had, it would've already evolved that way long ago. If it hasn't afert all this time, it never will.
@@LucienSabre well you stated in your op not necessarily a romantic relationship - but a dynamic one, which he has with carol - make up your mind what you're trying to say
@@Neags When I talked about dynamic, I meant the interactions between Daryl and Beth, not the relationship. There was clearly something deeper between them...yeah, maybe their relationship wouldn't have progressed that way, but everything sure pointed at it. Carol and Daryl are nothing like that - they look more like brother and sister, or even mother and son (Carol's behaviour is more often than not maternal) and in that sense their relationship is already one of the greasest.
I never watched the show again after they killed her that was the dumbest thing they did. At least with Hershel’s death they gave us some clues beforehand so I was prepared but for killing Beth right after she got her own storyline with the hospital and Daryl was so stupid.
Honestly Jon Bernthal (Shane) was probably the best/one of the best characters in that show because of how his character was. Would of been amazing to see him in more seasons but of course knowing how the walking dead is that they made his character go to far
Shane's a total douchebag who ended up trying to steal Lori and Carl, then later on the unborn baby who turned out to be Judith and for that he deserved to die real soon.
Actually as sad as it was, I feel Hershel was the best call to die during that segment. He passed on his wisdom to the others and gave Glen his blessing. Some characters need to go at certain times. This show usually just misses that mark. And yeah, Carl's death was the WORST decision the show has ever made. Andrew Lincoln wanted to leave, so then the kid we watched grow up and develop into being able to fight but also think about the future could carry things on, HE DESERVED TO BE THE NEW MAIN CHARACTER! The show will never be as good as it was in seasons 1-4. Although the current season was pretty decent, it's a mess of characters none with that leader capability.
The actor that played Dale asked to be killed off immediately once he found out Frank Darabont, the man responsible for season 1 being so awesome, was being replaced.
@Stephanie Logan He was the lawyer at the start of Shawshank. His role in the Green Mile was substantially bigger as he played one of the guards throughout the film.
@@billyllewis the quality got better with later seasons but first 2 had most amazing quality. I felt how dirty it was in that world. Sad they changed the producer😔

I think Shane died at the perfect time...because the entire point was to create that change in Rick, showing us that Rick IS capable of surviving in this world and doing what he has to do, no matter how difficult.
Axel was originally going to survive into Season 4. Literally right before they were gonna start shooting the episode of his death, they decided to kill him
I felt Bob Stookey should have been on here. At least an honorable mention. He was a character who almost always was able to see the positive, which is extremely rare in this show, plus he gave Sasha a relationship before she hooked up with Abraham. Plus, his “Tainted Meat” is iconic for me.
I was definitely excited to see Shiva put into the show. However, ya gotta admit, having a giant tiger following you everywhere isn't exact practical. Doesn't matter how many walkers she can kill, eventually it'd become hard to keep writing in storylines in which a tiger plays the "hero" without getting overly cheesy.

In the comics they're a couple and have 2 adopted kids, remember the show is based on the comics, no matter what happens in the show, the comics are how it's supposed to be
I like how watchmojo says that Shane was ahead of his time with the series which is very accurate considering that what the group does now to survive is something Shane did in the earlier seasons. Another point about Andrea making terrible decisions but having her heart in the right place which is totally true too. I feel like she could've grown too. Merle had a lot of potential for being a good character after the second half of season 3. Same thing with Axel too. In the comics the prisoners played bigger characters than in the show.
@@damanhammerar154life7 You really thought you did something there didn't you? Disliking a character means you're copying people? You're not allowed to dislike a character because of their dumb decisions and actions? Now That is stupid. Being "Unique" isn't unique anymore. Going against "the wave" doesn't make you special. 😂
Glenn's death definitely hit the hardest (No pun intended 😅) to me. The fact that he had been in the show since the beginning, and then seeing him die a brutal death like that, made me feel physically ill 🤢
Bruh how is Tyreese just an honorable mention! I can’t be the only one that thinks he was like top 3 for getting killed off too soon Also cough cough** GLENN!!!
I think T Dog died too late, I liked his character but it’s like the writers had zero clue what to do with him after the beginning of season 2 so he had like 16 episodes of just being there but doing nothing.
Beth was one of my favorite characters, and as much as her death made me sad (it was the first TWD death that made me cry) it came at the right moment, as much as I wanted to see her grow as an independent woman, deep down I knew she won't make it, I don't know why I felt that way but I just knew but Carl's death was completely unnecessary, and in ways, it's the reason why so many stopped watching and why it's ending so soon
Finally someone says this. I liked her a lot and now don't really see Laurie Holden in much anymore. I thought she was a good actress. Another female character in a show whos my favorite but everyone seems to hate is Catelyn Stark from Game of Thrones.
Shane should've been #1. If he was still alive he would've been redeemed to be one of the best characters. It also would've been cool if we got to see him take on Negan. Merle should've lived longer too.
Wanna know who died too soon? Henry, I was slightly pissed about carl but I was happy that they found a replacement for him *then they killed him 16 episodes later*
Glen's death made me stop watching and was the saddest death in the entire series. and i guess others felt the same because after that episode their views started to continually drop, and now their in the shitter
If u stop watching because of glenn then thats dumb hes a good character but he never got the depth or deep connection like other characters like hershels death really hit me but glenns his story was long enough
@@user-yi9hz3or2t I would say they should have went more into his character personally I loved him and he always would go on runs or have to do all the dangerous things and I think they should of played with his character more just my opinion but I agree with you mostly
Shane was best he made Rick understand that ce can't be soft in that world but Rick was blind , Shane knew that Lori was pregnant whit him and he knew that he could't be a father to that child as he wanted to , so he basically suicide but did one last thing before he died and that is making Rick strong, Shane character was so deep
I LOVED Beth. Her storyline in season 4 with Daryl was my favourite in the show. Lol I used to ship them so much back then. Really sad when they killed her off.
Since carl is like rick's replacement in the comics, he doesn't die at all and his arc is still going, add to that the face he wasn't in the hallucinations, I can only assume Chandler Riggs left voluntarily
Why do people keep saying Glenn? Yes he was one of the best characters, one of the few characters able to keep his humanity.Till the very end,his role was done. There was nothing else to do with him.His death made Maggie stronger, and it was obvious he was going to get killed by Negan.
I agree. Besides, Steven Yeun asked TWD writers and producers to keep his character in line with his comic death, two years before they reached that point.
Imagine if Shane had lived long enough to see negan in his prime. If he had survived long enough the other survivors would have realized Shane was right about a lot of things that they learn later on in the show.
Actually for me it is truly Andrea, her character may have committed mistakes in her past decisions but we haven't seen her coping up for that, I am blaming Glenn Mazzara for this mess in the TWD History
This hits the nail on the head about Shane! he was ahead of every character in TWD. I loved how they adapted Shanes character, he know what needed to be done and to keep the group safe, Just a shame they didn't keep him alive.
@@annafowdy he said i know they didn't die so soon implying that he knows that they didn't get killed off so quickly like Noah who only lasted one season he never said i know Rick doesn't die.
Honestly, I feel like Shane could’ve gotten over his love for Lori at some point. If he survived, maybe gotten away, like Andrea at the end of season 2, he finds them eventually, maybe by season 4, he could’ve had a change of heart by then. Also, I feel like Hershel’s death, while sad, was perfectly timed. I suspected that someone was gonna go at the middle of season 4, and I pretty much knew it would be him. The thing that killed me is seeing what it did to Daryl, Glenn and Rick. I would’ve put Abraham on the list. He was literally only killed because they needed someone to die before Glenn, so it would throw the comic book fans’ expectations into a spin. I feel like he could’ve led Alexandria after Rick was gone, with him and Michonne as partners.
Abraham and Glenn's death was my worst moment in the series since 1. They were 2 of my favourite characters and 2. I had the bad luck to know who Negan killed before even having the chance to watch that episode, i was in a WhatsApp "friend" group and someone changed the group's original title to "Murio el chino", Spanish for "The chinese guy died" (i'm Argentinian), the fucker didn't even know he was called Glenn, but for some nonsense and stupid reason he knew the TV series existed and most people were desperately waiting to know who Negan killed in the finale of the previous season, since then, the series went downhill for me
@@ryanbeltran9413 idk about him leaving so soon, he’s said multiple times how much he’s loved the cast and loved working with them. I heard he was only written out because he was pissed that they fired Darabont
@@pablofernandez2335 yeah that would suck. I knew it would happen too, sadly. I hadn’t watched the show but I knew of the Negan scene so I binged the show up until that point and I heard who went down along the way. It sucked but it didn’t kill the show for me. I actually thought there wasn’t a single bad season of the show. So I don’t think being spoiled tanked the show. It just means people suck sometimes 🤣
@@drumaticpageofmusic4148 if other 2 characters died, it would have been way less painful, slightly minor characters i mean, still shitty, but not that shitty, my reaction after the spoiler would have been "Phew, at least none of my favourite characters died, we are cool", but since the 2 were important to me and most watchers, that meant the departure of that WhatsApp group, a joke is one thing, but a no way back issue is another
A good chunk of these made me say "dude wtf..." later on I started thinking maybe Shane wasn't so bad once you removed the "wanting Rick's family" thing.
Imo Shane died at a perfect time if he was kept alive in the show he would have fucked up the group probably got Rick killed somehow and got the group killed when the governer invaded the prison
What I love about Noah is that even his final words have multiple meanings. "Don't let go". Some people see it as "Don't let go of who you are". But I see it as "OH GOD GLENN PLEASE DONT LET GO OF ME OH FUCKING GOD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
Watchmojo: Axel - because he had the biggest heart... Oh boy, Axel was originally written to lure Beth into the woods, rape her, and kill her. But that idea was written off because it was considered too dark and too real
At 8:55 I thought you were going to pick Jody or what's his name as number 3 I was like I did want to see this guy more often but carl definitely should be on this list
I liked Shane because of his lack of morals. Sometimes you need someone tough. Like when he beat the crap out of abusive Ed. Nobody else would’ve done that. But it should’ve been done. Daryl is like this, but he’s just too insecure. Shane’s too secure.

T-dogs death was one of the only characters I cried when they died
It was one of the most upsetting of all the deaths so far after Noah.
Beth, Sophia and Carl hit me really hard and I cried for days
If it makes you feel any better, in the comics beth doesn't even exist and Carl and Sophia don't die at all
Sophia died to early for me to care
Same I miss him
I'm still pissed Axel died like that because his character was so unique and I would've loved to see his evolvement in the series
Glenn's death definitely hit the hardest (No pun intended 😅) to me. The fact that he had been in the show since the beginning, and then seeing him die a brutal death like that, made me feel physically ill 🤢
Same I feel sorry for maggie
Dale. Forever the saddest. And he could have been there until season 5 if they hadn't fired Frank Darabont.
Frank Darabont hired the actor who played Dale since they worked together in the film The Mist, that was 3 years prior to TWD
How Many Of You Laughed Your Ass Off When They Said We Needed More Lori?
@Kadon Pool She stired up shit, was an irresponsible hypocrit and a pain in the ass
Bruh how is Tyreese just an honorable mention! I can’t be the only one that thinks he was like top 3 for getting killed off too soon
Also cough cough** GLENN!!!
Bob Stookey, such an awesome character with great skill set.
I like the fact that the Wolves didn’t have a motivation for their attack. Makes it more interesting.
Noah was one of the worst to lose so early. Him and T-Dog could've have great story arcs or at least been strong additions to the group.
I heard the actor who played Noah got another role in another series so off he went.
Dale went out in such a gruesome way for such a good man 😫😫😭😭
I think T Dog died too late, I liked his character but it’s like the writers had zero clue what to do with him after the beginning of season 2 so he had like 16 episodes of just being there but doing nothing.
Sinful- idve made tdog the protagonist hes the goat and easily season 1 best character
@Enoch Powell's librarian a lot of people like and remember T-dog in the fanbase
I thought Lee in telltale died too soon
Lee ;-;
First video game that had me bawling at the end
Who kill lee or just left him lock up in my game I kill him.
@@Crexman501 had to kill him :(
@@Crexman501 I kill him
Beth was one of my favorite characters, and as much as her death made me sad (it was the first TWD death that made me cry) it came at the right moment, as much as I wanted to see her grow as an independent woman, deep down I knew she won't make it, I don't know why I felt that way but I just knew
but Carl's death was completely unnecessary, and in ways, it's the reason why so many stopped watching and why it's ending so soon
Merles one of my favorites idk why he’s just so cool in season 3
Yeaaa
Dale was taken off too soon. The looks he gave Shane was hilarious.
Andrea was one of my favorite characters on the show I cried when she died
Finally someone says this. I liked her a lot and now don't really see Laurie Holden in much anymore. I thought she was a good actress. Another female character in a show whos my favorite but everyone seems to hate is Catelyn Stark from Game of Thrones.
@@Logan-lz5gu IM SOOOOO GLAD SOMEBODY AGREES
Yes, Andrea had already got award, contrary to the comic, in the Twd series she got screwed .
Especially cuz she shot daryl in the head
Shane should've been #1. If he was still alive he would've been redeemed to be one of the best characters. It also would've been cool if we got to see him take on Negan. Merle should've lived longer too.

Rick and Carl leaving killed the series for me...
Wave🌊🌊🌊🌊Rider
It actually improved the series
@@erwinekkel9676 game killing Glenn before he was supposed to be killed off killed the series for a few of my friends.
@@erwinekkel9676 rick leaving didn’t
Yep me too
Anyone remember Otis from season 2? Idk why I felt like he could’ve been a great character
#1: Frank Darabont.
He would've ruined the show. He wanted Walkers to eat each other.
So weird I'm currently rewatching the series as we speak and this video drops...well my pick would have to be Oscar the prisoner
Wanna know who died too soon? Henry, I was slightly pissed about carl but I was happy that they found a replacement for him *then they killed him 16 episodes later*
Every time they kill a character earlier than in the comics
Definitely!
What about Carol?
@@damc6038 She Is an exception
And, looking at the comics, i realize that Dale and Andrea have 2/10 of the screentime(and storyline) they have in the comics
Except Lori I’m glad she died earlier
Glen's death made me stop watching and was the saddest death in the entire series. and i guess others felt the same because after that episode their views started to continually drop, and now their in the shitter
People still watch the show
Guess you were never a real fan anyways
I agree but abraham aswell
Best list Mojos ever made!! I agree with all these
I LOVED Beth. Her storyline in season 4 with Daryl was my favourite in the show. Lol I used to ship them so much back then. Really sad when they killed her off.
I think we can all agree that we were all pissed when Rick didn’t see Carl in his blood loss hallucinations before he ‘died’
I honestly don’t think Maggie’s development after Glenn’s death was as strong as the comics unfortunately.
I don't his death make her stronger I think that's because she get a baby
Watch mojo thank you so much for all the walking dead lists 😁😁😁😁😁
When glenn died I stopped caring about the show, still watched but dident care who lived or died anymore, was a clownfiesta for me henceforth.
Imagine if Shane had lived long enough to see negan in his prime. If he had survived long enough the other survivors would have realized Shane was right about a lot of things that they learn later on in the show.
Spoiler warning for a show that's 10 years old lmao
here is new episodes
Did you only watch the first 4 seasons?
@@CaptainFalcon333 most of the deaths were in the first 4 seasons
@@Shockable well WM didnt do spoilers for just the first four. They spoiled much more.
@@Shockable you're not very bright are you?
Siddiq, T-Dogg, Tyreese, Noah I thought could have stayed longer.
"Top 10 Worst TV Girlfriends".

From Owen (the Wolf leader), T-Dog, Noah, Hershel Greene, Beth Greene, Merle Dixon to Carl Grimes (live action TV version).
My list
-Abraham
-Andrea
-Tyreese
-Henry
-Jesus( Pual rovia)
No Rick or Glenn. I know they didn’t die so soon, but they were the characters that had the most morality and humanity.
Rick didn't die
Rick isn’t even dead lol
Guys, he clearly said he knows Rick didn't die.
@@annafowdy he said i know they didn't die so soon implying that he knows that they didn't get killed off so quickly like Noah who only lasted one season he never said i know Rick doesn't die.
@@justinpeterson9832 I know, I’m just screwing with you guys.
I liked that Shane had an arc with a beginning middle and end. Much better than just keeping him on for the sake of it.
I don’t think it matters, Bernthal is just a good fucking actor LMAO. I don’t think he would’ve stayed much longer even if he stayed alive.
@@drumaticpageofmusic4148 if other 2 characters died, it would have been way less painful, slightly minor characters i mean, still shitty, but not that shitty, my reaction after the spoiler would have been "Phew, at least none of my favourite characters died, we are cool", but since the 2 were important to me and most watchers, that meant the departure of that WhatsApp group, a joke is one thing, but a no way back issue is another
Carl, Hershey, dale, Glenn, Beth and so many more
I swear Shevia's death hit way to fuccing hard for me
A good chunk of these made me say "dude wtf..." later on I started thinking maybe Shane wasn't so bad once you removed the "wanting Rick's family" thing.
#1 characters who died too soon: all of them that's why walking dead lol.
I would have liked to see Shane and the girl with blonde hair (forgot her name) go on there own for a little bit
What about the most underutilized character of them all compared to the comics-JESUS???
I will say, with Owen's death, it started a change in Carol where she realized there are consequences to just killing people she doesn't like
Imo Shane died at a perfect time if he was kept alive in the show he would have fucked up the group probably got Rick killed somehow and got the group killed when the governer invaded the prison
So he was supposed to be Thomas but the actor was like absolutely not
Axel was a good guy in the comics. Yes, he was a pervert at first but he turned out to be a good ally
At 8:55 I thought you were going to pick Jody or what's his name as number 3 I was like I did want to see this guy more often but carl definitely should be on this list
I really liked that one zombie in the first episode, too bad he got killed. Would have loved to see him in the finale.
The Jim Carey Zombie?
@@damanhammerar154life7 yes, nice guess

Dale man..... was supposed die in by the cannibals. Loved the comic character and the actor even better

T dog and Dale were absolutely awesome man i miss those two
T-dog was the best character, the series died with him...

This was the video I wanted. 🥰😘🤗
why is carl not in first place, I barely know the fanbase but I can definitely say with confidence that Carl should be ahead of Andrea
I liked Shane because of his lack of morals. Sometimes you need someone tough. Like when he beat the crap out of abusive Ed. Nobody else would’ve done that. But it should’ve been done. Daryl is like this, but he’s just too insecure. Shane’s too secure.
damn, Axel was definitely 1 of the funniest characters on the show!
Wish merle, shane and tdog was still in the group, they were so badass
