ARGH 😵💫😫😫! I returned to my fluval 307 not working🥺. I watched your video but before cleaning the filter I followed your advice re: trapped air. It took a few minutes to take effect but it worked. The outlet pipe had somehow slipped beneath the surface. Air HAD got into the filter. Thanks for the tip ❤😊

I have a 10 year old Raphaels 🐈 🐟 and had added more fish to restock and all is going swimmingly well. I went away for 4 days and had no idea when it stopped working. I took your advice and every thing seems ok, altough I'm a ADF missing at the moment so I'm a bit concerned 😕
Mic sounds good. Get a tripod or gymbal. The camera shaking was awful. Intro was and music are too loud and don't match your cadence. Thanks for the video. I hope to see your channel again with many more subs and much improvement in production.

Hi, do you have any idea as to why my 407 keeps intermittently making the sound that it’s straining to pull water through. Regularly maintained, checked impeller and even changed the pipes also tried rocking it. Do you have any suggestions please?
I suspect it's slightly short of water. The straining sound is normal when it pumps slightly dry. Unplug it and fill it by hand until completely full on the outlets. Make sure all air bubbles are out.
Been using the 307 for around 4 to 5 months now. I've notice the flow has got weak, any reason why ? I have clean the impeller blades and media a few times now and nothing has changed. Any clue on whats causing the weak flow rate ? Its on my Rio 240
I always filled the canister with full water before starting. The pump works and it keeps constantly pushing water out but it comes with noise in the impeller chamber. I asked Fluval and they said it is trapped air, try to tilt the canister back and forth to release the air. It does release some more air but the noise continue and they said it will go away after a few days.
The instructions manual says to start the canister dry, but as you say it can lead to trapped air. The self purge plunger is too temperamental for my liking. I would fill yours to the absolute top, whilst rocking it side to side, to see if you can fix the noise. The noise is awful! 🤣 Thank you for the comment!
Hi, it's already the second fluval, both the 207 and the 307 have suddenly halved the flow rate, they are new and even by washing everything including the impeller the original flow rate no longer returns. Instead I have a third fluval 307 which works perfectly and also an fx4. Could you tell me what it could be?

That's odd, is there no change at all to your media setup? Is the media thick with waste when you open it up?

Any obstruction within the pipework? And waste build.hp in the media ?

@@fishytales nothing, I sent it back and bought an fx2... I read even other people have had this problem.
