Real avid make some good stuff.....I don't have this product but I use their bore snake...I have the Tipton gun vice and it's "okay" but the real avid looks much better...I like that it elevates the weapon and the front and rear vice mechanism seems more universal for different styles of AR15 handguards and butt stocks....
Much better than other brands. Better than those with those sliding trays for tools and stuff that just not as useful and swivel heads that have no locking in position. Very nice. But where's the coffee mug holder? No seriously a small flex neck clamp on led work light to focus on small details in the action hands free would be great. Head lamps are sometimes are a draw back when working.
It’s a pity you can’t get the front area jaws the same as the back ones to handle an fclass open 3” wide stock! Have you got anything that handles a 3” wide stock ?
Even if you have a full vise, I found this workstation to be super handy for scope mounting due to how easy it is to level a firearm in it.
