You’ve probably been in a situation where there was confusion, even pandemonium, and most people were acting like immature children. What was needed was just one person to act like an adult and bring decorum and civility back. In such situations, one might say, “Where is the adult in the room?” It refers to someone who will behave responsibly in a mature manner. The book of James is about spiritual maturity. It is a call to grow up and not just grow old. James was the adult in the room.

Wonderful. Love your person antidotes, so riveting. By the way, Jesus didn’t have any brothers. Please learn your biblical history.

@@danaray9304 ok, but how do you reconcile the fact, Luther, Calvin, Swingdoolie, Wesley, etc. all believed in Mary’s perpetual virginity. Are the Protestant heroes all liars? Why do you believe some of their beliefs, and not others. Just wondering.

He had brothers...both in church history and human history but most importantly the Word says so. I believe God, not what man says no matter what "position"they hold in a church. But let's not be a stumbling block for others...but let's not allow the worship of Mary. She had to be saved too.
