Ann: I just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful card instructions you have shared with the world. You are very talented and I am proud to display your projects. God bless you.
This is a very unique card Ann. I love it. I also like the idea of white on white with the yellow behind the windows. Beautiful all the way around. Be well & TYFS
I thought I'd just go through the tutorial again to be ready for giving this fab card a try tomorrow Well, here I am at 2a.m. forcing myself to go to bed with just the wee houses and things to go on then stick it all together. Ah well, it means I'll have time to do another 1 or 2 tomorrow. After watching tomorrow's tutorial, of course 😆 🤣. Cheers Ann xx
Talk about the WOW factor! I have never seen anything like this Ann! It’s so beautiful and opens up so many variations. Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic ideas. 🧑🏻🦰❤️
This is really beautiful Ann. I have been away from crafting for several years but was a faithful follower a few years ago and made many of your Christmas projects. I was thinking the other day about making some things for Christmas this year and figured I should start early since I am out of practice. I am actually going to make an older project, or at least I think it was older than this one. I am going to make the beautiful gift box with the paper bow on it. I am actually going to make 15 of them but without the four gift boxes inside so just the outside frame. I am going to build a winter scene inside each of the 15 different shadow frames, which is essentially what it is when you leave the gift boxes that are on the inside, out of the box. I am going to make the acetate cover which will protect the scene. Each scene will be different and then I am going to stack them in descending numbers as I go up and that will make a Christmas tree shape. It will be lit and the outside frames will be decorated. I am leaning towards doing it all in white with very little color except maybe for the windows as you did here. So the bottom row will be 5 boxes, then 4 and so forth. At the top I am going to put an origami 5 point star. I have to work out how I am going to light each box because I don't really want to have to turn 15 lights on each time I want to illuminate it. I am doing this because my daughter has a studio apartment with no floor space for a tree and I thought that idea would work as she can build it on her window ledge. I made her the winter scene in the acrylic box with tea lights in it. I made it the same year you posted the video for it and she loved it so much. Unfortunately, when moving it got squished so this will also replace that one. I have to try to figure out how big the deer, street lamp and other additional scene fillers should be. I am going to make the houses 3D using Tim Holtz 3D Village die but it doesn't come with any additional scene pieces. I will have to see what I can find and if I can't find anything I am going to have to free hand draw and then cut them out. In any event, regarding this card, I have a couple of special people in my life and I think I will make a similar card for them this Christmas. I won't make it for everyone as that might be a bit time consuming but you never know. If my other pieces go together quickly, I might make more. I also will watch out for your Christmas projects for this year. Thank you again for sharing your talent. 😍Deborah
absolutely fabulous Ann love it and all you do cut please could you tell me what dies you use for the hills to put your little houses on? I love the stitching and picot edge as it really adds that something special. hugs x
