Loved the episode, thanks for shedding light into the scene here in Mexico city as well as into our family 🙌🏻 Looking forward to have you guys back sooner than later!
Thank you so much for this piece Jeff, it's really cool to see how all the hard work our father did was not in vain and how the scene here is taking off. Things are only getting started here and you know you and Logan are welcomed back here anytime!
What an awesome video Jeff! Thank you for making it and for sharing our pasion for MTB, it means a lot!!! Looking forward to riding again with you, let's make that trip to Oaxaca happen soon!
People and cultures coming together over a shared love of mountain biking… it doesn’t get any better. Probably my favorite off all your videos so far, Jeff.
This is legitimately one of the coolest videos I’ve seen on RUclips. It wasn’t a typical ride video, instead, you really gave us a taste of the culture, in a place that doesn’t have our freedoms. These brothers are pioneers in a sport we’ve already established here, but has a long way to go, there. Bravo for this piece of film!
Thanks Brandon! This is the kind of MTB that I truly want to watch myself as well. Yeah there’s been a decent scene in Mexico, but only recently has it become more mainstream. There are generally more riding opportunities in MX, since private property is less of a thing, which is super cool.
@@UltraBuitre kinda funny. I left a very positive comment on a piece of film I really enjoyed and you come in like a douche with negativity. Leave it to yourself, pal. I see Mexico as a country that is a little tormented by cartels and some level of poverty and see a different view in Jeff’s video on a couple of guys who are living the lives they want to live despite other things going on in the country. Didn’t say anything negative, so leave your negativity to yourself and quit trolling.
Thanks Luna! There were quite a few densely forested areas. And plenty of more arid spots, but iirc, Mexico i something like the 14th largest country in the world; so they have it all when it comes to climates.
Awesome video Jeff. I was fortunate enough to spend several years in Mexico City and I have to say that Desierto de los Leones is an amazing place. The trails are top notch and like you said, no one would imagine that the bike scene is so good in Mexico City. Eric’s Garage actually built my I-9 wheel set and after almost 2 years it is still true and solid.
This deserves way more views. Great riding, well filmed and genuinely interesting. This is the kind of MTB media I wish there was more of. Meanwhile Seth posts a video of making avocado on toast and it gets five times the viewing traffic. Doesn't make sense to me. Hope you keep up the good work Jeff. This stuff is gold. 🤘
Didn't know mtb around Mexico city was a thing. Thanks for the heads-up and the story telling. I'm checking those trails right now on Trailforks. On a recent trip to the Cancun area this summer, I rode some MTB trails and found them pretty good. Watch out for the iguanas!!
So cool Man! Thanks for showing me a part of Mexico City I didn't know existed. I have been wanting to explore the city and catch an F1 race, now I'm gonna have to ride too.
My favorite video yet. As someone who has family in Mexico City, this one was special. Thanks for helping others see this burgeoning MTB scene through your lens. Great work!
Thanks man! This kind of content was my main thing a few years back, but the changing media landscape has meant i need to do more frequent, more simple stuff instead. But ya, MX city is really cool! I can’t wait to get back!
Thanks Chad! Flights aren’t too hard to MX City, and staying on the outskirts and close to the trails is pretty safe. You could ride Desierto for 2-3 days easy, and there are several more spots within driving/Uber distance that we didn’t get to try. Would definitely recommend!
@@JeffKendallWeed Right on! So many cool kayaks are built up that way. I use to be sponsored by Sterling Kayaks which are hand made right in Bellingham. I've been up there so many times to paddle, but have yet to check out the trails.
6:00 minute mark, that was my first bike. A Nishiki! Only mine was red not black. Took it down Chuckanut which the trail used to be called Double Diamond (many trips OTB's lol, also rode Galbraith. Cool video Jeff, thanks!

Super cool guys!!! Dig that you guys are bring up the scene in CDMX and Jeff for making this video 🤟🏻

I think this is your best video yet. Mexico City looks amazing.

Great video Jeff. I always thought Mexico City was more desert climate and terrain. This looks like PNW. Really enjoyed the story telling too.

Thanks for watching! Mexico is so much fun, I can’t wait to get back! Not sure I wanna do a free ride fiesta tho, those jumps looks massive!

This video was rad. So inspirational.
Thanks man, glad you caught it! Was just telling my boating neighbor about your channel, btw. He has a pile of kayaks that’s taller than my van!

Awesome video. Thank you for sharing this - I had no idea about the riding around Mexico City and this was great to watch!
I am so jealous of that riding scene!
Hahaha it’s legit!

It’s nice to see the AF going international! 👍
Haha yeah!!! I’d rather bang that frame up than the V2 😂 tho we filmed this before the V2 was released…
This is an outstanding video.
Let's go next to Central America!
Thanks Matt! We did another episode to Costa Rica, and I’m dreaming of many more!

Get in touch with Mau! They can get you all set! And once you make it out on a few rides you'll start to get your own riding crew established, too!!!
Was up carlos. Maybe in the future we can make a trip there.

Let`s Do one chapter in the Sacred Valley Peru!
Id love to get to Peru one day! It's just a dang expensive flight!!!
I feel like Mexico would be some kind of paradise if it weren't unfortunate enough to share a border with the US.
🤘🏽
Mexico city population = 21.7 MILLION!! That's out of control.
5th largest in the world
