Best video I've seen yet on bed building!!!
Aww.. and it's a pretty crappy video at that! But, thank you so much!
It's good to see friends helping friends.
Anytime we can.
A paper clip in the hole of the zipper there the pull part is missing unlocks the zipper. Saves from having to cut the cover.
Awesome tip! Thanks
Thanks to your video I have a comfortable bed to sleep in while hauling RVs. Enjoy your down to earth videos.
Oh wow!!! Thank you!!! Thanks for watching and letting us know our video actually helped someone! Awesome! Going live at 4pm eastern 5/22 today if you want! Would love for you to join in and talk about your bed!
Good video
Well.. we tried.. not professional..but, that's real life! Thank you for commenting! And for the compliment!
Seeing you standing in front of The Original Ridgewood Barbeque sign at the beginning, no wonder you didn't like the Carolina BBQ in your last video. That is the best BBQ I've ever eaten.
YES!!!! Ridgewood BBQ IS THE ULTIMATE BBQ!!! we live about an hour from there....now that's what we like!
There's an aftermarket adapter that makes the seatback patch much easier.
Another thing that makes you scratch your head and wonder why didn't ford make it easier.
Yep. It was a difficult job. But, not too bad. Thanks for watching!
If yall havent heard by now, there is a way to unlock the zipper and use it. You have to unlock it. I saw this on one of Tim's (Hauling Paws) videos..He used the same mattress.
A paperclip?
That looked a lot like a union crew!! Well done, stay safe.
😂😂😂
GreatbJob Guys.
We both used many of the same techniques. Same mattress. Same 3/4” plwd with no frame. Same corner clips. I opted for the cotton sheets because I’m a “Sheet Snob”. One thing I added was some foam pipe insulation stapled to the perimeter of the plwd to eliminate scraping on the rough edge. I also used the cutoff piece of mattress, cit to the proper length, put a pillow case over it and use it as a mattress extension behind the drivers seat. I have to sleep diagonally and that gives me a place for my feet when I sleep. I use it for a back rest when I’m sitting up in the bed reading or watching tv on my iPad.
I tried to add pictures to this comment to show you, but couldn’t figure out how to do that. If you want, I’ll text them to you.
$60 fora sheet of plwd these day. 🤯. Who’d a thunk it!
thats a great idea.
Nice Job Bandits!!
Thank you!!!
I also put all of the nuts back onto the bolts in the truck. I’m bad about losing things like that, and also forgetting where they all go. 🤪
Amazing job! It looks so cozy!
We love our back o the truck bed!
Awesome! That bed looks nice! Maybe we can do something similar once I get my tow car.
Im not sure if it would work in a small car. Don't know... 🤔
Jeff said we could probably figure something out though
@@TransportBandits I've seen different set ups in a car. The top two best cars for a tow car is a Jeep Wrangler and a Honda CRV. Since Jeep's are so expensive, I've been looking at CRV's and there is definitely room in the back to put a bed. It's still just a dream for the future at the moment. Lol
Do you rent a car now to get back ? @Dena Nebergall
@@infaithonfaith No, I usually get a flight/bus/train and highly depend on Lyft/Uber.
Awesome build, initially I planned a whole frame and elaborate build for my truck camper build and then I just used a 6 2x4 legs on a piece of 1/2” osb
Yep... keeping it simple
The video showing how to reinstall the seats should be much longer...
😆..yep!
Did y’all have a problem with your Airbag light on your dash be on?
nope. sorry.
Excellent, it sure is nice when you have a shop to work in. Hopefully I’ll be upgrading this summer. The Filthy who’re doesn’t fit in my current shop and this working outside is stuff is getting old.
Yes, we love our shop
Is there any money in hauling RV'S ?
Is there a way to search for topics on your you tube channel ?
Nope. Not that I know of.
On a computer, go to their main RUclips page. Click on the Videos tab. There is a search box.
Do you idle your truck for heating and cooling? Airplane carbon monoxide monitor?
Yes..we have a carbon monitor
Wonder what ya'lls thoughts are on the IT's email about potential slowdown in May?
It is what it is.
I think they may be getting rid of the drivers who don't drive their quota...many drivers drop out and never return or don't inform the company that they will be out for over a month due to health issues or truck problems or whatnot. I don't know about IT, but at Synergy, it's the end of the first week of May and yesterday we had 550 towaway loads on the board..it will take quite a while for that to drop.
Dot compliant?
Doesn't have to be as long as you do your 10hr. Break every evening. You can get a Woodhouse D.O.T. compliant bed if you want to log "Sleeper Berth" and are team driving and keep rolling. But just about all transporters build a bed in the back of thier pick up trucks. But, you cannot roll with someone sleeping back there.
Hahaha, First.
hahahah!!!! first!!! wish I could give prizes! lol! mabey someday I will!
@@TransportBandits lol, we’ll that saves me from making a video of my bed. Nice shop Jeff, I was looking at all your stuff. Lol
Yep, it was clean at one point! 😂... We use that shop for everything, making frames when we did art, working on the bikes, etc...but, it gets pretty hot in there in the summer
@@TransportBandits ha your shop is no more messy than mine. Yes mine get hot in the summer too. I got the ceiling left to insulate and maybe it will be ok.
