I love them all but Kevin is the one blowing my mind here. He is so precise! What a joy it must be to sing with such consistent bandmates. I did notice a dryer sound, less reverb throughout the song compared to the studio version. It gives it a closer presence. Have you ever heard Mitch imitate the sound of a marker on paper? It’s so hilarious. Or him and Kirstie having fun with whistle notes? They can be so silly and have this fun complicity amongst themselves. 🤗
Definitely a live performance. Yes there are after effects, maybe done on the fly, maybe in post. Still all them though. And maybe a little computer tweaking. No doubt they will be able to do this live tho

I would love to see you do some live concert performances/private performances. Some of the best are the daft punk private performance (in a green room no mics), there are multiple versions of private performances of valentine and take me home that are good. And for live concerts the pop spring 2016 and the star vista version of aha (there's a little distortion because its not professionally filmed but its very clear). Also their ama performance of star wars is cool (it's the only performance they do with an orchestra that I like).
Definitely send out a couple of reminders via Community posts, as well as Twitter, about Bram. PTX fans should flock to a live chat with him if word reaches enough of them. He's very loved by PTX fandom, every bit as much as the five. He's like the George Martin of Pentatonix.

okay, so it seems that in the middle song, there are those piano hits (the doomp doomps) while everyone is singing something else, unless it is Matt? Because at the start it was Kirstin, but then around 4min mark she is clearly singing a different part but the doomps are still happening

This is really a filled-out SuperFruit song. You need to analyze some of SuperFruit's catalog and you'll see how similar this is. It's an amazing composition.
This live-in-the-studio version doesn't have NEAR the effects of the full-on studio version, and I think I like this one better. It has a much cleaner sound IMO.

Nah I think its totally greenscreen. They just did different shots of the background. Framing never changed despite their difference in heights
