Hi Jared. On the configurator at MB, you cannot get the all leather steering wheel if you get the AMG Driver's package, the one that includes drift mode and the higher top speed, and some other good stuff, I forget what all else. You have to get the leather/alcantara mixed wheel.

When you said it could keep up with a 720s I had to walk to my iPad and rewind that back. And sure enough that’s what you said! My 1st thought was this guy is crazy! But I have a 2020 CLA250 so it’s the bottom tier CLA for the US. 221 hp, but since it’s such a small car the power to weight ratio is not bad, these cars are quick no doubt that. There was one night I was driving home late at night on empty roads, and I pulled up to an R8 at a red light. He probably thought I had an AMG since my car is the matte gray color, so he revs at me. I knew he was gonna try to peel off so I put my car in sport mode and on green I went for it not expecting much. To my surprise that R8 did not destroy me by any means, and I kept up pretty well. He realized his car was not that much superior to mine speed wise so he chilled out after that, and I was now trying to bait him into doing it again because I was so shocked I wanted to see if I could do better. He ended up driving normal the rest of the way till we both took opposite freeway ramps. So maybe you’re not that crazy and the CLA45 AMG can keep up with a 720s or at least not get it’s doors blown off. 😂
Maybe the R8 didn't have enough grip or whatever is going on. I don't really consider the R8 all that fast nowadays; it's about 3.8 seconds to 60 and does the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds. Also, the CLA45 is not going to keep up with a 720s. There's really no way. In normal conditions and stock tires, the 720s gets to 60 in 2.8 seconds. With the right tires on, it's hitting 60 in about 2.4 seconds. From a roll, that 720s will completely overtake the CLA45. In a quarter mile, that 720s will finish in about 8.7 seconds whereas the CLA 45 would be lucky to break 12 seconds. Don't get me wrong, I think the CLA45 is an amazing car, but it's not keeping up with a 720s. There is a CLA 45 S as well, and that one is a beast, but even then I don't think it's anywhere close to a 720s.
@@BN99239 The 720s is a monster. I've heard many car reviewers say the feeling of its acceleration is a bit unpleasant. I've never been in a car so fast where it crossed into feeling uncomfortable. Maybe one day.
Can i use navigation via bluetooth (eg. google maps, apple maps) or do i need to get the navigation tech feature for 1.2k?
Those can be used via Apple CarPlay or Android, wired-in.

For the exterior of my cla45, I went with a night black exterior with the 19in. amg rims in matte black, I decided not to go with the exterior lighting package mainly because I don't think it's worth $900, I did go with the night package as well as the aerodynamics package. For the interior, I chose the same seats as your leather with dinamica suede and the aluminum amg trim. I also really wanted the performance seats Sadly it was outta the price range that my father gave me :( so I opted for the standard seats. Options I went with the multimedia package and the Burmester surround sound system, parking assistance package and the last option for my cla45 is the Amg dynamic plus package it was this option or the performance seats, and honestly I really just want/needed the Amg dynamic plus package! Well, that's my build should receive it by June :)

Should be an easy fix with an after market exhaust but yeah, I don't like how they quieted the actual exhaust note and went with the more artificial sound through the speakers

For the price, you could get something much better. You're paying for performance here, not quality. The interior is cheaply made like an entry-level A-class and for £50 k + that's not acceptable. I would rather spend that £50 k on something higher in quality, more reliable, that rides better and is more well made such as an e class coupe amg or a BMW m440i, etc. Seriously, Mercedes should give this model a much-improved interior for that price with a deficiency of plastic materials. Smart people would not buy this car.
Obviously this car is not for you. If you judge cars based on how much leather they have or how comfy they are then go buy something else. This is about driving fun and enjoyment. And this car is so crazy fun to drive... more fun than a BMW 4-series for sure.
Smart people would understand what target audience this car is for... and smart people would not leave a comment like yours.

@@SeanyMacks that is exactly my point. My second point being C63 being far superior to the CLA, so why would anyone spend money on an entry level wannabe sporty car when they can get THE sporty mercedes (for the price range)
@@XMrRex alright let me explain this. The C63 and CLA45 are for different purposes. The C63 is a large sedan with a big engine and is more for cruising and having fun doing pulls. The CLA45 is a small nimble car that is good for tossing around corners and having fun on twisty roads. A person who likes fun nimble handling cars will not enjoy the C63 because it is physically TOO BIG... is too heavy and it's not as sporty... for example the transmission doesn't shift as fast. They are two different cars for two different purposes.
