Holy crap! What a trip down memory lane... As soon as that perfect opening theme starts playing, I'm eight again, eating a chocolate sandwitch, eyes agape at the TV... Thank you Mr. Stephen Malovski... this have warmed my heart.
Mr Malovski, can't thank you enough for uploading all 13 episodes of Kidnapped (1978). I remember watching this TV series when I was a kid. I must've been about 10 at the time. And now that I'm 50, it is like going back in time again (SOBBING). Thank-you, Stephen.
Same here. Great times, watching this on the couch with tea and cookies. Sad day to hear David McCallum passed away.. I had no idea he was 90 already, didn't look like it. To me felt like he would be here forever. Pity people have to die still. Hopefully this will change in the future. R.I.P. young Master David. [ read with Scottish accent ]
SAME HERE joining in the fond reminiscences!!! I must have been a lad of the tender age of 7 when this series first aired, but I clearly remember it - what sticks in my mind is that glorious opening theme! Remember riding around on my bike at grandparents' house with that theme going on in my head and the image of the ship sailing along the misty waters....I remember Catriona, the general story.... Fond indelible memories from my childhood!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I watched the movie in the 1979 French version. For the past 40 years I've been searching for it. Thank you for making me revive these unforgettable moments.
Wonderful to see this very well-produced series again - beautiful music, too. I was 16 when this was first broadcast and Aude Landry...! Let's say she raised my pulse rate, quite a lot.
The series was aired in 1979 the same year Vladimir Cosma composed the theme tune, David’s Song. Check the end credits it’s not 1978. Fantastic series and thank you for uploading it 👍
Thank you Stephen for upload all these episodes,it takes me back to my childhood sitting at my nan's table having fish and chips on a Saturday night, watching this classic series,Thank you once again Stephen
Steve, absolutely, takes me back too. How wonderful it would be to step back in time and enjoy what we had then. Mind you, we had fish and chips on Fridays, with It's a Knockout.
I've been looking for this since I saw it one Saturday afternoon in Delaware in 1980. I was a kid, and I've been fascinated by Scottish history ever since. I think WTBS broadcast it. Thanks, Stephen!
Hey, thanks for this! It aired in the U.S. in the early eighties when I was 6 or 7. I loved it and the music. I'm so happy to hear and see at least some of it again.
Does everyone here have a childhood memory of eating specific food while watching this show?? I understand people eat while watching tv but no one ever says stuff like that A lot of comments are starting to sound copied and pasted here

Thanks a lot. I was 9 or 10 when I first watched this.
Same (like the other comment) my childhood favorite series

RIP David McCallum (1933-2023)😢
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..!
British and Scottish. Pity the Redcoats were arseholes to the Highlanders.
The lowland Scottish had very little time for the Highlanders. Infact mean openly supported the English.
I think Ransom has hebephrenic schizophrenia. Who agrees with me?
