I am enjoying seeing this again. I fell in love with the haunting theme song years ago. It is beautiful to hear it again. Also to see the magnificent country side.
I thought a rift developed between Alan & David, seems should've been within this episode. Perhaps it was re-arranged & will come-later in some-fashion. Thoroughly-enjoy the long-looks at the beautiful-scenery. I try to imagine how a modern-equivalent to this could work, i.e., a "Kidnapped" set in 21st-century Scotland. The answer is, it wouldn't. And even if attempted, I doubt I'd watch, aside from the scenic-views, if featured. The truth is, this is a tale of a certain time & place in history, written about a century after the events depicted. One can only marvel at how Stevenson conceived this timeless-adventure.

Completely True!
Brings back memories watching this 13 part nd the music was just brilliant nd david macallum to play the part of allan breck
Always good to see Andrew Keir.
I happy this part because Dávid revenge his uncle fallen panic…
What happened to the scene where David gets mad at Alan, then later ask for help because he is sick? Or did they not add it to this tv series.
