Yes thank you very very much for uploading this series for us. It is a treasure. It is far more gritty and I believe shows the bleakness and squalor of life back then far better than could any production of today. The actors are also fantastic - very well-chosen. But still the most important point is the sense of authenticity of this production: those people were closer to the actual time itself in history, and were far better able to interpret how things would have been, how words would have been said. No offense to the Americans, but thank God there isn't a jot of American/global influence in this production which would have utterly compromised the wonderful authenticity of it all. The series was aired in 1979 the same year Vladimir Cosma composed the theme tune, David’s Song. Check the end credits it’s not 1978. Fantastic series and thank you for uploading it 👍

Considering it was in fact originally shown as a children's tv show, the production values, cast, and direction are all very good

Loved this series came in a 13part which i found online website that did all the oldies like the champions marti nd hopkirk ect nd kidnapped cost 28 pounds as it was put onto cd well worth it watched it as a young boy nd the fact it portrayed culloden nd some beautiful scenery of scotland

It aired in Poland back in the 80's. I watched it as a kid. I can't remember much of the plot but the music has strongly stuck in my mind. Amazing
