Good luck everyone Tommorow and Tysm James for the videos
Machem guy we love you the goat 😭😭 your predictions were spot on again 4 marker on organic liquid 9 mark on organic flow chart 6 marker on proton nmr spec 5 marker on the acylation I think it was really nice paper
i COOKED paper 2sir for the NMR it was indeed an aromatic compound.let's hope p3 predictions are spot on
p2 went so well tysm !!!
Cheers James what a lifesaver Ty
when do you use ethanol in reactions with phenol?
Hi this unrelated but when answering questions involving H2SO4 (or acids in general) when is it necessary to mention if it is concentrated or dilute?
When’s the p3 prediction dropping
Also when forming an ester from a phenol and acid anhydride, if it is a mixed anhydride does that mean we can make two possible esters
Correct and two possible carboxylic acids
@@MaChemGuythanks
i have this phenol routes on my wall
Is it possible for bromine to ever just be mono substituted on phenol, or is it always in excess?
Both possible
Ok thank you
yes dilute br2
ty james 🙏🙏🙏
No problem. Was surprised I’d not already made it!
@@MaChemGuy your channel is a gold mine.. can’t believe I’m confident for Tuesday 😊😊
@@MaChemGuyit’s fine it’s better to be safe than sorry
(unrelated question) will you still get marks for ocr a if you shorten precipitate to ppt?
You’d need to write the full word at least once
