    Why all the fuss for an exact height adjustment while clearlly there is plenty of thread left on the stud ?

    I've seen this installed for bonding, and compared to studs welded to structure or regular bolted connections trough, or tapped holes with bolts, this type of connection is just poor and tends to become loose due to corrosion/vibration/expansion and contraction.
    It's basically a "cold welded" threaded bolt, where all hope is placed on the threads getting "stuck" in the material. Often times they simply don't.

    Amazing! It is likely to have a galvanic pair condition betwen copper compresion lug and the threaded stud?

    Hehe, must say im impressed, tools are half the job... myself i only use light touch with angle grinder and drill a hole in the middle for a bolt... yeye prolly to old school nowadays...

    Drill a hole and fixed wire with bolt, washers and nut, no? Does it complicated?

    Can this be used underwater if hydraulic tooling is utilized?

    Спору нет круто! но цена за одно заземление очень дороговато. проще насквозь засверлица или приворить болт или удлинённую гайку и прикрутится.

    как то сложно все , просверлил насквозь и забалтал на болт да и все ?

      А можно вообще без заземления :)

    Что бы сделать заземление, надо овердохуа денег на Хилти.

    Does HILTI supply the connections and the tool. Or only the tool?

    • @HiltiNorthAmerica
      @HiltiNorthAmerica  3 года назад +2

      Hi Gino, thanks for the message. We don't offer connections. In addition to the tool, we also offer the threaded screw-in stud. Visit hilti.link/USw for more information.

      @@HiltiNorthAmerica thanks for the answer. Very nice features. Do the Stud and tool work in the running rails of a Metro railways? DC current return application for example and/or signaling applications?

      Thanks Gino for the follow up question. We will have to get with our product technical team and find out the answer. Will get back with you once they reply. Thanks!

      Gino - The X-BT system has been successfully used in rail track connections for e.g. signaling - for reference please see the attached video from our global group: ruclips.net/video/PI2cQYYrpVA/видео.html

      @@HiltiNorthAmerica great tool, great solution. It would be great if we could also use in DC current return connections. The most common cable used for DC current return in Brazil is 240mm2 or 500MCM.
      And for the templates to guide the drill bit we have UIC60, TR57 ( 115lbs) and TR68 (136lbs) heavy hall lines.
