2017 was a great year for Chile. British Airways are back and Qatar Airways will at some point fly to SCL however the flights will operate via Rio de Janeiro instead of Nonstop. Emirates could deploy A380s on nonstop flights to SCL. Next years APEC Summit will be in Chile of which President Donald Trump will be attending. Trump could possibly visit Chile this year as he will be in Peru in April for the OAS Summit and neighbouring Argentina for the G20 Summit this year.

Syed Hoque I don't think that Emirates will come with their a380 because Santiago doesn't have a gate which is big enough for an a380.
