The reason why not many people modify Preludes is because there is pretty much no aftermarket and you have to hunt everything down. Also the top spec Preludes were pretty fast for Hondas standards at the time.
Exactly bro I own a 5th gen and I'm having to get my new carpet CUSTOM MADE all because they got almost zero aftermarket support even in the interior section. Most of those parts got discontinued almost 20 or more years ago, the only time people liked Preludes was back then.
@@meister.leistung Right there with you. 3000GT's and 240SX's are pretty much in the same boat. It's definitely becoming harder for older cars to get specific aftermarket parts without going universal spec.
Car culture these days is in a pretty good state! It's always good when enthusiasts can actually buy what they want to buy and it doesn't have to be the fastest the cutest or the coolest thing as long as you feel cool inside of it that's all that matters!
My dream Honda, especially influenced by one of my fav flash games being Drift Runners 2, especially in that very dark gray that it has in the intro screen
Sorry to break it to you but its FWD…but dont get upset because its one of the best drivers cars even though its fwd and honestly i think its much better as a fwd car tbh
@@arturpasztor-buzassy730 i am aware of it and i have in plans AWD swap it, alongside with equipping it with a 2.8 litre V6 and two turbos Also, i was and am aware it is fwd, so no worries
I think most people consider "fast" to be one of the best attributes a car can have, as it maximizes the amount of fun you can have, we all want fun, so we all want fast. But true car enthusiasts know there are way more aspects to consider than just speed when car shopping, such as reliability, tunability, overall driving experience, handling, practicality, and looks. In my opinion a true car guy won't knock someone's car based merely on its 0-60 time, looks are a major factor because they play into first impressions and we all know how important first impressions are
I hope the next gen Prelude coming soon lives up to the brand name. I'm a big Honda nut, but I gotta admit some of these new models, new generations are becoming less modular with the hybrid powertrains. Makes them less fun
If it was in that blue they did this thing would be a 10/10. Since it’s red I’m giving it a 8. I love the 5th gen so much. I’ve always preferred the Prelude to Integra.
If Honda put the Acura Vigor i-5 and AWD on this car back in the day there would ZERO left unmodified and we would see them everywhere. Which is a shame because it is a beautiful car. It's underwhelming Performance-wise and that's too bad because it's so hot and modern mods, wheels and kits would make this a legend. Imagine though a Honda sourced 20V VTEC i-5 with 8000+ RPM +AWD? That's GTR status 25 years later.
This thing got the same problem as basically every pontiac. If gm made all those buick boats and sporty pontiac cars rwd, not just the car scene, the entire world would literally be completely different lol.

5th Gen Prelude was honestly one of Honda's best looking cars ever!!!
4th gens had a better dashboard interior in them (my opinion at least).
I thought the same, but if done right, the 4th gen looks better
Imagine the s2k drive train on this
hey I just called the cops on you 😂
@@fatoputso7375 with the F20C engine and 9000 max rpms? Bruh, stop it! I am also calling the police to have them write you a speeding ticket, Lol 😆🤣.
after i boost my h22a prelude i wanna get another for a k24 full NA ITB build/swap, sounds like a screaming angel 🤤

Search for your arts by the motor brother h22a4 is an underrated platform (I’ve got one needing a clutch job in my driveway)
I had a 4th Gen in highschool that I loved. The interior made me feel like I was in a spaceship. I miss that car
Idk what it is about old Honda’s but I love them

Nice car I have one myself just like that one👌🏼
BB6 lude is literally my dream car.

I own one and I absolutely love it. It’s got two speeds, here and almost over there
5th generation is definitely my favourite
best looking car Hondas ever made i would trade my ek for one any day
I bought my 3rd gen prelude with 4ws about a year ago, it’s a slept on car imo.
Owned a 3rd gen as my first car the thing that let them down is they should of been rwd
Where's my 5th gen luders at ? 🔥💯🤙
Gang gang
The Z in the back 😫😫😫😫
Love the videos Alex!! Quick question for ya, I wonder what your cousins would rate that cut? It’s ok I won’t judge.
K20 turbo with awd then we talking
Had one great looking car
love the 5th gen prelude and the 3rd prelude. thanks to gran turismo
LET THEM STAY SLEPT ON. SHITS TOO EXPENSIVE! 😤😂
Fast back in the day, H22 vtec was impressive.
Honda logo = 10 ❤
7th gen accords are pretty slept on too. especially the 6speed ones

Sick of explaining why I prefer Ludes to Integras! Preludes are just so pretty! My UKDM with 4ws and factory 200bhp NA will do 🤷🏻♀️
I wish they bring it back, I can only imagine though it cost a fortune like the integra and the type r
They are bringing it back. But it will be auto and an EV 😢

Solid 8 only because I’m not much of a Honda fan 😢
10/10. Preludes are gods
The 5th Gen prelude is a beautiful car.
My best is the 3rd gen
I would have picked up one if it was RWD or AWD as my budget would allow only one car
Its better fwd tbh
Cool points>>>
No one mods theses anymore because they’re hard to find. Clean ones go for big bucks.
5 gen. Honda prelude is amazingly car, they are very underrated car...
Im selling man soon. Lol. But still fun cars if you can find a clean one.
Honestly I give it a solid 8.5 because I'm not a massive fan of the rims
Don't they have a h22 all-wheel drive prelude doing high 9s in the ¼
Rate a 2017 Nissan Sentra nismo please
They were decently quick for their time
This thing got the same problem as basically every pontiac. If gm made all those buick boats and sporty pontiac cars rwd, not just the car scene, the entire world would literally be completely different lol.
If the Prelude were RWD it would be amazing
No it’s really good fwd tbh and i think its much better fwd
Doesn’t have to be fast to be fun
5th gen mullets on the other hand
Should have been rwd
No it’s really good fwd
@arturpasztor-buzassy730 nah it has a rwd awd body styling and it's got the platform to build on. Sad it was stock only fwd
Those bodylines just scream RWD. Such a shame it was never an option.
They look amazing going sideways
No its really good fwd
It wasn't that slow. At least with the H22.
Most enjoyable car I've ever driven. Very slow though
I don't like bags hate that stance shit remove that I'd love it.
Also, some people like show cars....not fast cars, for those this is the perfect car
4th and 5th Gen was a Honda fail. Make a care that's designed to look like a RWD car and make it front wheel.
Its really good fwd tbh if not better
bro who cut your hair? fire them
Throw in a v6. Then it's good.
NO
Cool > Fast
l
LS swap w rwd and you will have a bad ass prelude
No
Who else saw that terrible paint job 😮
If it wasn't for that shity engine, these would be 30k a pop
A slow car is even slower with that stanced garbage.
Terrible paint quality on that one
Iza Toyota name honda
