Funny you say this because I'm Tired was in the top 10 on the spotify charts yesterday and now is at #3!
She’s dropped songs from 2014 and 2012 (replay, swag it out, etc.) it’s all underrated people don’t remember that she was also a Disney star so she did songs for the shows she starred in for Disney as well

Zendaya has a couple solo songs which were released during her disney days and I remember listening to them ALL THE TIME because they were played during commercials on disney channel (especially “replay”)
its her debut album i think, it actually did nice on the charts but she said publicly that she doesn’t like the music industry

Loved your reaction. From my understanding, Zendaya quit music and focused more on acting bc of bad contracts. I think her label wanted her to lean heavily into pop but she was more interested in a soul + r&b route. I think she's still locked into it if i'm not mistaken, which is so unfortunate bc her voice is amazing. Her latest song outside of tv shows and movies is called "Something New," which is still a bop. And sometimes I still go back to her album she made when she was a teen. There's still some bops on there to this day.
Her voice is so perfect for soul & r&b. I hope she finds a way out of that & can get in a studio
@@MichaelBeveraggi She also mentioned in an interview with Issa Rae that another reason she's stuck more to acting is that she feels that with music, artists need to be more open and raw about their personal lives (or something along those lines) but she's very private and wasn't willing to be that open.
I would give anything to see your reaction to the “I’m Tired” scene in the show/ it really takes that whole gospel thing you liked to a whole new level and it’s a pretty gut wrenching moment for being only 3min
Labrinth and Zendaya Collab album would end me ...honestly I loathed how Disney didn't give her better music to sing.. there was a few gems but overall didn't do her justice.Glad Zendaya is getting into her own now that she is maturing into the industry. She is way powerful right now and she isn't slowing down

Since 2019 when I first watched Euphoria and it became my favourite show for years, I fell in love with Labrinth music. For me, there's literally no one else who produces music better than him and I'm so happy that since the 2nd season blew up so much he is getting so much more recognition. However, I'm gonna miss the feeling of listening to the first Euphoria score album and his other music knowing that it's kind of a secret?

The music really is one of my favourite things about 'Euphoria'. I could have sworn I remembered you having a channel for series reactions. Anyway, this really is such a good show, if you ever do start a TV and movie reaction channel, you should definitely include this show.

try listening to watercolor eyes when you're going to be in more melancholic mood, it hits different in the evening when I drink tea and write in my notebook, gives me chills. also this song really gives me the book "conversations with friends" by Sally Rooney vibes

ig watercolor eyes makes sense w the eerie feeling bc its like "i love you and thats scary bc you're hurting me but i don't mind bc you have your sweet moments but what i feel for you is haunting me and i can't seem to be smart and leave. is it bc i like that you hurt me or bc you make up for it with a small bouqet of flowers at the end of the day??" love it self is one of the most haunting and traumitizing feelings/actions because you are trusting someone with your heart and trusting them to take care of it with gentle love, which is almost never the case these days.

Check out Zendaya's 1st album it is a safe Disney inspired but solid Album. She had an 2nd album recorded produced with Timbaland to be released back in 2016 but her label shelved it unfortunately 😢😢 you can hear some of the snippets of the second album floating around online, and 2 songs "Close Up "and "Something New " were released around the time.
Formula is my *favorite* track from the first OST. I actually do sit there and jam to it over and over again. Haha
