I don’t know if you guys picked up on the symbolism but she was overdosing that whole song, and then the acting just tied it all together. that episode really is a masterpiece.

"This better not be a spoiler" This is literally the last scene of the first season lol. But I guess it doesn't actually show anything unless you watched the 15 seconds before the song started
The song on the soundtrack doesn’t end there, but yes, in the show the episode ends at that point.
Zendaya does a phenomenal job on the show and I’m glad she’s able to showcase her wide range of talents here with vocals and choreography/movement.
This Labrinth song is incredibly dark and the visualization of her relapse, OD, struggles, triumphs and failures yet again are so beautifully depicted.
The soundtrack version has a music video? Maybe I should react to that one too 🤔🤔
@@SongsFromASuitcase No, there’s no music video at all ☺️. The clip you reviewed (beautiful review by the way) was the last scene of Euphoria’s season 1 finale, “Rue’s Relapse”. The Season 1 soundtrack that was released for download has the full version of the song (there’s not too much from where they ended it in the show tbh).
There is also a version where Labrinth and Zendaya sing together though - which appears on Labrinth’s album, “Imagination and the Misfit Kid”.
Euphoria is one of the best shows ever created. It’s so dark and very true to what actually happens with addiction. The actors on this show are incredible!
Danny's relating on most of those subjects, he cried in every episode so far, AND HE'S HALFWAY THE SEASON!
@@SongsFromASuitcase I have friends whose siblings suffer from substance abuse and it is very true to their stories. Congrats to him on staying sober and being able to shed some light on this awful illness!

Her only album was a decade ago, I still go back and listen to it time from time. I sill have the CD. I'm happy she's slowly starting to make music again and perform (she sang one of the recent Euphoria songs at Coachella ).

The song is a spoiler in a way as it the ending to the season but you need context to understand that’s why the music video has such an abrupt ending. Hope this helps.

I’m so impressed with you vocal coach how well you handled Halle Bailey, you didn’t judge her of her skin color, you listened to her singing ability, other people only saw her skin color not her as a mermaid or a human girl.
I thought the whole thing was crazy! I just dont understand why it would even matter what color her skin is. I just wanted her voice and acting to give justice to the original and she did waaaaaay more than that!

I was in denial about why I couldn't watch this show, but now I come to a turn with it being heavily influenced by very dark mental issues and drugs, I am not over that part of my struggles, facing it partly, not the other stuff.

I watched this endng after a 3 episode marathon and there's nothing that has ever made me feel so much. It was a bunch of feeings coming from everywhere, recap of Rue's story... the song is a masterpiece, both labirinth's music and zendaya's voice, the choreo and art direction also a masterpiece, how everything is shot... such a beautifully done climax to only then just end the whole fucking season 1 and leave u with ur heart so moved... I loved it sooo much, I was speechless
