@@tracynorman1455I’ve always been someone who’s very big on knowing the exact lyrics to songs and would definitely print all the lyrics to my songs in all my albums and make sure people got lyric PDFs when downloading my albums if I ever released any. And yet, I’ve always had a strange like and respect for the fact that the country/folk/rock musician, Victoria Williams, has never printed her lyrics, because, according to her: “Folks usually do a good job of making up their own.”
Prince was the modern day King of Rock. Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Fats Domino being the Kings and Sister Rosetta Tharpe being the Mother as she created Rock music. These are the real legends of Rock but have been erased due to the racist gentrification of the genre with the appropriation of Elvis, Beatles and many acts. It was so bad that Micheal Jackson had to buy the music catalog of The Beatles and i believe Elvis to pay back the original Black Rock artists that Elvis and Beatles stole from and never paid.
Michael Jackson didn't do it to rectify racism he did purely as a business move. Not that I disagree with portions of your rant . Cry me a river. Someone sounds racist here and Prince was average at best.
