Because the movies were so good, making the cutscenes more memorable and with solid gameplay it was really just a great experience. Nowadays they don't make them anymore because 1. movies are not the same (don't focus on pure fun and instead on visual element alone), enough people are already interested in video games so less need to market a game as a movie tie in, and most of all the studios making the movies seem to be afraid of making a "video game ass video game" if you will, it's all cinematic experience or nothing - also has to cost $70
When I was a kid my ps2 didnt have a memory card so I always used to speedrun completing games like this one and ben 10 because whenever I closed the system evrything erased. This is what I think made me a pretty patient guy
I remembered playing this game with my little brother, sadly we end up getting stuck on the train situation and we've never knew that there was gameplays of this that would've helped us out.
I wish i could go back and have the emotions and joy while playing this with my dad and not understanding a thing but i loved the game. I get the feeling i got when i played the game while i am watching this video t is fantastic
Advice for the 100% completion. 1. Get and transmogrify blueprints for Carrying Capacity Levels 1-3 Upgrades. In between get the blueprint for All Blueprints Cheat. 2. Then transmogrify Maximum Carrying Capacity (for unlimited components with 160 at that time). 3. Then Carrying Capacity Level 4 Upgrade (which you will find in the Hive level 2). To get 200 components (already unlimited). (First chance to transmogrify it is right before the fight with Lizzie). 4. Finaly transmogrify All Blueprints Cheat to unlock all the blueprints. With unlimited 200 components you can transmogrify all those unlocked blueprints to get unlimited lives, energy, collectibles etc.
There should really be cheat codes to start the game with havoc gloves and levitation ray because you only get to use one of them for 1/3rd of the game and the other one 1/5th.
Beautiful aesthetics~ If I were to pick a transport tube, I'd take the Magma version. Beyond that, Robinson tech would be my go-to option. Havoc seals could've been red though.
I remember playing this version and the DS version. One cool thing in the DS version was that the final boss in the console version was an entire level, where you explored and fought various different enemies. That version of the game had less unique levels but that final one was interesting, if not tedious. As for the console version I'm now remembering how tedious the game was to play lol
This game couldn't be more unclear what you're supposed to do lmao I spent like 3 hours going around one area trying to figure out where I was supposed to go
I remember my mom used to go to las vegas athletic club when I was 7-9 and she’d always leave me in the play place and this was one of the games you could play on the PS2s they had haha. Good times.
Wow, it has been so long since I last played this game, it was the best game I have ever played in my years, too bad I can't play this on a ps4, it would feel great to get to play it again.
Man I could never get to the time machine, once that door closed and all the levels to sneak in it was so hard for me when I was like 8-9 I could never figure out or get past to the time machine
Why were games based on movies so good back in the early 2000s, this, incredibles, chicken little and loads others were classics
Too bas people did not have them in count
Teen titans and tottaly spies, barny horse riding and mickey mouse kitchen game thing... Oh so many memories... ❤

This was an amazing comment.
I fully agree.
Games like this/movies like this are a punch in th gut when you compare them to what Disney turns out now.

Fallen Angel I feel ya. I used to play this all the time with my older brother and cousin. Sadly we could never fully finish it.
Same here i alway got stuck on the train task 😂💔

I can’t get this games soundtrack out of my head

The sand pit part still gives me anxiety until today... (The edits just don't work man)

Wilbur Robinson is one of my favorite Disney characters.
This was a prequel to the movie? I never knew that! 😁
Movies concept was completed first, but the games production of the game was FINISHED first.

Such a fever dream xD
This game's pretty impressive graphically.

It doesn’t look like shit... yeah it’s no mario galaxy, but you gotta think about the amount of space and amount of stuff being displayed.

Totally. Also the animations are amazing!
