HE DIDN'T CHECK?! dude if the squid ring was flaky between dimensions you would think maybe i should test the angel ring before leaping into the void! #DIREBALLSOFSTEEL
BTW - ore processing - you can quadruple ores really easily. Augment: Pyro-concentrator in an Ind Smelter, and supply Rich Slag and Blazing Pyrotheum. Rich Slag is a byproduct of IndSmelting common ores iwith Sand. Blazing Pyrotheum is powdered Coal, Sulphur, Redstone, & Blaze powder. Blaze Powder is Destab Redstone fluid-transposed on Glowstone. You get 4x the ores, plus Slag as a byproduct (use it to make Clay).
Anton Mans but he doesnt mine common ores en masse.. he uses the void miner and thats sorta slow. Besides. He doesnt need any more upgrades for it, hes already set.
It's so completely unnecessary to even triple ores, let alone quadruple them. Usually, by the time you are able to automate the process you are swimming in resources with a steady volume coming in already.
All that redstone and he forgot how to make it fit into one block - put it in a Compact Machine. Really Dire, when your pack includes one of the ultimate "make anything fit into a 1x1x1" mod you abuse the everliving daylights out of it. :P
@direwolf20 if you don’t want to have to go back to the end for chorus every time you need it, you can break the bigger bulb looking things that grow on top of the limbs of the ‘trees’ and plant them on end stone in the over world.
So in the blockcraftery mod can't you deform blocks? Or is that a different mod? If so Dire should deform his botania building to give more signs of plant growth.
Am I the only one who was disappointed that the ring worked without inventory reset in the End, since Dire tested it by JUMPING OFF THE PLATFORM? Hahahaha
I would have used refined storage's block placer and breakers for the living rock setup, but Dire has done it a lot of times in the past so I understand why he chose this complicated route instead.
Yeah its nice. I personally prefer formation and annihilation planes of AE2, but this also works. I miss steve's factory manager. It could do it all, placing and breaking with a single block, and be disguised as part of the floor.
I replicated that setup, but using both world block importer and exporters from Integrated Tunnels instead of phantom placers. I placed the exporters below and importers above. I put a living wood boolean in the block exporter by accident and then moved it to a block importer (which was directly above an actual living wood, but the system wasn't hooked to any chest and item interface). I got an achievement and my game crashed immediately and my save got corrupted (crash on reloading the world). I had to resort to a back-up a from a few hours earlier. I've seen people here and there reporting crashes with integrated tunnels in the past 4 months with block, item and fluid ex/importers.
Ignoring retrievers again. why do you always use servos? *sigh* Also is it possible to specify putting one item in an inventory with integrated tunnels?
You should silk touch that resonant endstone, it gives a full bucket when you magma crucible it. Also the Celestial stuff from the End is basically purple glowstone, thats all.
Liquid Chorus = I would prefer the term "Ender Plastic" with all it can do. Those Purpur blocks are fairly damage resistant for how easy you can make them. #diecastcontruction
RoboStriker they do. But bat morphing reduces your health to a maximum of 2 hearts, and being a blaze comes with annoying particles on screen. Angel ring avoids both problems.
it has to do with forge being weird mod loading changed in the 1.12.0 version this change was just to speed up mod loading but it ended up being not as good as they planned mods do load faster in 1.12.X but only in bigger packs(like DW20)
I would love for dire to release the world download And hold a competition redesigning everything he built. He then chooses a winner and uses that base instead
If Dire wasn't doing so much better at being pretty than he usually does I'd think this was a wonderful idea, perhaps a few issues with pre-recording etc. that'd have to be worked out but possible. As it it though I think it's best to let Dire, um, be the better Dire that he's shown himself capable of being :D
Last time I used a cursed lasso it auto-captured any hostile mob you killed with it in your hotbar. The catch was that these "souls" could only be used for crafting. If you wanted to release the mob someplace else, you had to capture them alive with low enough health. The Direderps are strong this season.
Which version of ExtraUtilities was that cuz I have never had that happen? Not a direderp I don't think. You may be thinking of a similar but different mod
So..rebornstorage soon? As impressive as your wall of crafters is, perhaps it's time if not beyond time you delved into rebornstorage to remedy your wall of crafters. Additionally, interface your livingwood/livingrock into the refined storage system, then it's truly automated and you'd have on demand of the two blocks too.
If you add the "Angel Ring to Baubles" mod that will clear up another inventory slot. Saying more as a reminder, as I'm sure you already know about the mod.
technically you can get the Wings of the Batt which are like...a good middlepoint between angel and squid. it's from actually additions. I had to make it cause ATM 3 has modded recipes.
functionally middle? i guess you're right, ATM 3 made it so I NEEDED the wings, and a mekanism jetpack, and other stuff as well to get the angel ring. kinda none too pleased with that aspect it's not touted as a "challenge" pack...
Hm, those phantom placers aren't bad, I used the rftools scanner/builder :) I think I prefer that method over the placers just because of the configuration of multiple blocks but still nice to see those in action lol Used builders to automate compact machines too, they don't seem to work for the machine walls though so I might have to see if these do (presumably the problem is the redstone dust not the iron block lol) As for breaking them I used refined storage with a relay that breaks the connection when a detector decides there's 1000 livingwood in the system if I run out of one I can just swap which is used in the detector but I'm not a huge fan of botania and I've already gotten fairly far in Draconic evolution so I honestly doubt I'll use up a 1000 of either lol.
Direwolf, remember your Challenge from Episode 47 ? Try to built an Endoflame Feeder with less than 3 block spaces. -> Done :D Video is currently uploading. Well, I'm using a mod you haven't so far included in your current modpack, but I hope you'll include it again later.
The phrase “home, James,” has a relatively short and obscure history. It is a widely understood phrase used by a passenger to his or her driver, telling the driver to take him or her home. It has since become a cliché that spawned an early 20th century movie and a pair of songs. It ultimately seems to have come from a British monarch of the 19th century and her faithful driver. The song “Home James, and Don’t Spare the Horses” popularized the saying in and around 1934. Many websites credit this popularization with Fred Hillebrand, who was born in New York in 1893 and died there in 1963. He was an actor, composer, and song writer. If anything of his song remains online, it is difficult to find. There is, however, a recording of a song of the same name that was performed in Britain by Elsie Carlisle. Carlisle was a singer popular between the World Wars. Her version of the song does not credit a writer, but was performed with Burt Ambrose and his orchestra. Its lyrics speak of a date night gone wrong, as demonstrated by the chorus: “(Home, James and don't spare the horses) This night has been ruined for me (Home, James and don't spare the horses) Oh, I'm ruined as ruined can be” The song appears to be set in the 1890s, at a time when both Hillebrand and Carlisle were born. It also features a horse-drawn carriage rather than the motor car that would have been used in the 1930s. It is, therefore, possible that the song dated from that time and these latter renditions were cover versions of it. This makes sense because there is evidence of a coach driver called James towards the end of the 19th century. Queen Victoria of Britain reigned from 1837 until 1901. She would be driven about, when not using a train, by horse drawn carriage as was the convention at the time. There would have been a number of coach drivers available to her, depending on the location and the carriage being used. One of them towards the end of the 1800s was named James. His name was James Darling, and little is known of him except his name and position. It was the convention of the time for an upper class person to address a driver by his surname, but this would have left the Queen saying “home, Darling.” The Queen naturally decided to use his first name to save embarrassment, and a phrase was born.
Now that I've been looking at that pryimid for 3 days, I can clearly say, I don't like the blue. I know he wanted the whole vines thing, but I think it should go back to sand stone to match the other pyrimid.
Robin Miklica Yes, 1 PM is the best time of the day. Well maybe the time when school ends is better, but you know what I mean. :D (And yes, I'm from CZ)
Been watching you for years now and just realised I've never said thank you for all the amazing teachings, so thank you! And loving the new series.
HE DIDN'T CHECK?! dude if the squid ring was flaky between dimensions you would think maybe i should test the angel ring before leaping into the void! #DIREBALLSOFSTEEL
This is probably my favorite build since Dire's dandelifeon / super redstone circuit tomfoolery :-) super tidy and compact!
Thank you Direwolf20! You should make a Void Resource Miner to get Mica for the Accuracy Modifiers. They really help bring in more tier crystals!
He quite clearly does mine common ores en masse. That's what the RFTools Quarry in the Deep Dark is for.
Shaw Fujikawa oh right.. forgot about that thing..
It's so completely unnecessary to even triple ores, let alone quadruple them. Usually, by the time you are able to automate the process you are swimming in resources with a steady volume coming in already.
Couldn't you have inserted the stone and wood into the phantom placers using integrated dynamics instead? The cable is already right there!
All that redstone and he forgot how to make it fit into one block - put it in a Compact Machine.
Really Dire, when your pack includes one of the ultimate "make anything fit into a 1x1x1" mod you abuse the everliving daylights out of it. :P
I really like that you can see the build in the overworld. :)
"If you want to put something somewhere, put it in me". I'm so mature xD
That purple endstone stuff. Emited light. Sort of like a purple glowstone. As far as I can tell
There needs to be a mod that exists just to give Biomes o Plenty items some usability
Love the way you still walk back to your termial to craft instead of using the wireless terminal haha
@direwolf20 if you don’t want to have to go back to the end for chorus every time you need it, you can break the bigger bulb looking things that grow on top of the limbs of the ‘trees’ and plant them on end stone in the over world.
If I recall, if you have two golden lassos, when you capture the bat it keeps a lasso in hand and drops the bat into a different slot?
So in the blockcraftery mod can't you deform blocks? Or is that a different mod? If so Dire should deform his botania building to give more signs of plant growth.
Am I the only one who was disappointed that the ring worked without inventory reset in the End, since Dire tested it by JUMPING OFF THE PLATFORM? Hahahaha
I would have used refined storage's block placer and breakers for the living rock setup, but Dire has done it a lot of times in the past so I understand why he chose this complicated route instead.
Why did you do integrated dynamic dire? Because you will need it anyway for autocrafting in botania.
pssst, the wand of acceleration works on the pure daisy
Just here to upvote. I'm 3 videos behind
2 here. My Fios went out on January 1st. Just got back up.
Yeah its nice. I personally prefer formation and annihilation planes of AE2, but this also works. I miss steve's factory manager. It could do it all, placing and breaking with a single block, and be disguised as part of the floor.

is it possible to add extra cells to the pack so the Applied Energistics 2 mod can handle fluids?
Just unlock the pack in the options and you can add mods.
Great automation base looking great keep it up.
Liquid Chorus = I would prefer the term "Ender Plastic" with all it can do. Those Purpur blocks are fairly damage resistant for how easy you can make them. #diecastcontruction
do morphs not give you flight ?
Not in this version.
ichun is working on it
RoboStriker they do. But bat morphing reduces your health to a maximum of 2 hearts, and being a blaze comes with annoying particles on screen. Angel ring avoids both problems.
mods end up getting reimplemented between versions, so maybe how flight works changed between 1.10 and 1.12
it has to do with forge being weird
mod loading changed in the 1.12.0 version
this change was just to speed up mod loading but it ended up being not as good as they planned
mods do load faster in 1.12.X but only in bigger packs(like DW20)
26:10 was that your voice?
:o
What's that weird not-netherrack area in the nether? I haven't seen THAT yet.
If you mean the area at ~4:00 in, that's a Magma Slime island from Tinker's Construct.
4:49 , straight ahead; that grey place with the blue in it. Is that a natura nether biome or something?
That's an ice biome, I think.
I would love for dire to release the world download And hold a competition redesigning everything he built. He then chooses a winner and uses that base instead
Lord_Lammington But he prerecords so we're not gonna catch up
Darth Sagit release world. Start new series taking small break, time for comp (perhaps on a multi-player server) then come back and judge winners
I like this idea!
that's just rude. I know it's not the best but he worked hard on it.
Angel Rings Negate fall damage. You don't need the slime boots anymore.
Last time I used a cursed lasso it auto-captured any hostile mob you killed with it in your hotbar. The catch was that these "souls" could only be used for crafting. If you wanted to release the mob someplace else, you had to capture them alive with low enough health. The Direderps are strong this season.
in 1.12 the cursed lasso didn't seem to want to release when I tried it, so I have a basalz (or whatever the earth blaze is called) in one.
Which version of ExtraUtilities was that cuz I have never had that happen? Not a direderp I don't think. You may be thinking of a similar but different mod
Just looked it up, that used to be a feature, but was taken out to make capturing more difficult. My bad.
There was a 'pick up blocks' option... you could have made all of them pick up either living wood or living rock.
Automated LivingStuff best title ever 10/10
I can’t believe he missed the end city that he looked towards
if you silk touch the resonant end stone, it's worth a full bucket.
So..rebornstorage soon? As impressive as your wall of crafters is, perhaps it's time if not beyond time you delved into rebornstorage to remedy your wall of crafters.

Middlepoint? But it takes a Nether Star and Dragon's Breath to craft!
functionally middle? i guess you're right, ATM 3 made it so I NEEDED the wings, and a mekanism jetpack, and other stuff as well to get the angel ring. kinda none too pleased with that aspect it's not touted as a "challenge" pack...
diretime!
Hm, those phantom placers aren't bad, I used the rftools scanner/builder :)
I think I prefer that method over the placers just because of the configuration of multiple blocks but still nice to see those in action lol
Used builders to automate compact machines too, they don't seem to work for the machine walls though so I might have to see if these do (presumably the problem is the redstone dust not the iron block lol)
As for breaking them I used refined storage with a relay that breaks the connection when a detector decides there's 1000 livingwood in the system if I run out of one I can just swap which is used in the detector but I'm not a huge fan of botania and I've already gotten fairly far in Draconic evolution so I honestly doubt I'll use up a 1000 of either lol.
I think the celestial crystals are just purple glowstone. Which is obviously way better than normal glowstone xD
This kid has a void ore miner and he still waypointing draconic meteors lmfao
Love your videos! ❤
Please turn your brightness up
Good morning Dire!
Direwolf, remember your Challenge from Episode 47 ?
Try to built an Endoflame Feeder with less than 3 block spaces.
-> Done :D
Video is currently uploading. Well, I'm using a mod you haven't so far included in your current modpack, but I hope you'll include it again later.
pretty neat
Thanks :)
Wait. You used a mod that dire couldnt use because its not in his modpack. How is that fair?
Well, you have a point there :) But he could use OpenComputer robots instead (but they are quite expensive).
change the variables to ones with "and" on livingrock and livingwood
@23:15 That's what she said...
I'm Here!! Mornin' Dire!
Dude! You just need to invert the comparator. Vanilla man it's sooo powerful. 😉
Correction, dire. Over TWO stacks of erodium.
i mean purple glowstone is cool
17:56 It breaks your hard so fast
Good video!
hey dude love your videos could you do a spotlight on forestry please
Krimson Succubus he did one ages ago. It's barely changed since that spotlight so while it's out of date 95% is still correct.
Diretime!!
I think dire now just uses most expensive and ridicilous ways to automate stuff.
Compressed Wizard true but hey it’s fun to watch
Ya, was nice not to stare at an inventory screen lol
That's generally the point of the playthrough right? to show as many mods as he can in the pack?
to home james?.?dire’s name?
TheOneDan it's a saying
James is the butler of Batman
his name's Alfred Pennyworth, Selmer
and its just a generic butler name
The phrase “home, James,” has a relatively short and obscure history. It is a widely understood phrase used by a passenger to his or her driver, telling the driver to take him or her home. Now that I've been looking at that pryimid for 3 days, I can clearly say, I don't like the blue. I know he wanted the whole vines thing, but I think it should go back to sand stone to match the other pyrimid.
Now u need diamond boots bc now u don't take fall damage
I understand that Integrated Dynamics is a powerful mod, but my eyes sort of just glaze over when you use it. :( lol
Dire pls. Thermal Foundation redprint. Program one filter. Copy it. It's painful to watch.
ugggh picking up blocks without thaumcraft is so complicated...

Dire it’s 4 in the morning get some sleep.
I've got my upload on 2PM lol
Dire doesn't even have to be awake to do the upload, he has them scheduled for RUclips to just make the video live at a certain time.
People, it's just a "joke". Not a good one tbh, but give the Gnome some slack :)
If you read this...
Then have a nice day!
You like things that just work,eh? Stay away from Fallout 4,then.
Works just fine for me.
