Hi, Gemini how are you. I see the latest video. I saw the area where l used to live. You passed right by my old neighborhood of the Gold Coast. I lived on State Street. You passed right by my old apt. Building on Street. Seeing this video brings back the memories l have living there. I also lived on Dearborn Street as well. Gemini, it's nice seeing the old neighborhood. Thank you for sharing. This is me KC Love & Peace to you. ❤😊

Love the Gold Coast and the beautiful old mansions along the side streets Like Astor St. It reminds me of a mini Upper East Side in NYC.
I was walking around there yesterday a few hours before this was filmed.

Nimby's have fought so hard to keep the Gold Coast sterile and the population stagnant. So many projects have been killed or scaled-back over the years that would have greatly enhanced the vibrancy and attractiveness. It has basically become a museum and the newer wealth has moved on to Lincoln Park. The area needs a massive boost in the arm to maximize its potential.

You're delusional. This area used to be relatively crime free, now I get Citizen app notices about violent crime here daily. That's "diversity."
It should be a museum. It was safe and clean then.

@@katashley1031 Spare me the nostalgia. There wasn't a "Citizen" app to track everything that happened in the 80's/90's and early 2000's. It was never "crime free'...People just weren't paranoid living in fear from social media alerts. I never once said "diversity" by the way. I said vibrancy... Learn the difference as you sound uneducated.
What do you think helps alleviate crime? More eyes on the street. If so many mid & high-rise projects and commercial developments weren't denied for no reason other than exclusionary zoning and fear of outsiders the neighborhood would have the population density/vibrancy it deserves which would make it safer.

@@katashley1031 You sound dumb. I never said "diversity" I said "vibrancy. This area has never been "crime free" either...There just wasn't social media to alert you to every possible thing that's happened within an area which makes people like you paranoid. More residents and businesses creates more eyes on the street which helps lower crime. Your response refutes nothing.
