The Medic is pretty much the best class in the game, if you don’t have a Medic on your team, then you’re at an automatic disadvantage and will most likely lose.

Yeah playing medic is cool but have you tried disappointing your parents, friends, and basically everyone around you to the point to where they can't even look you in the face anymore? Have you ever tried crying yourself to sleep at night because everything you do is pointless and you'll never amount to anything? Have you ever tried to overdose on painkillers because they are the only thing that make you feel alive anymore? Have you ever tried smashing your head in a door for 30 minutes straight because you know that the world is better off without you? Have you ever tried marking wet floors with a sign so that nobody slips?

You rarely see good snipers but when you do they are scary as SHIT!
A class that can kill any other class at any range makes for a class that pounds if you have a solid 700 hours or above as him
Bodyshotting works just as well, killing a medic (and maybe even his fully charged medigun) with a fullscoped bodyshot is a gamechanger
I dont main sniper, just saying he is probably one of the strongest classes if you can play him godly (headshotting scouts at point blank etc)
Medic takes 2nd spot as the best class for me, one uber can turn the tables
F2P snipers rarely deal 450 damage in one shot but a f2p sniper is smart enough to wait around a corner and wait for the lowest health class to poke his head out and bodyshot him

Ive cleared sentry nests by ubering a widowmaker engie..rare but so satisfying.

As a Med main, I love the style of play you are promoting.
I also think they should leave the Crossbow as it is. It adds a fast-paced skill element to the class. If you could only click on someone with a med gun and watch their health slowly go up, Med would suck. It also allows you to DM, you need to win a fight fast as med and the crossbow melee combo allows you to clutch fights in a way the Syringe gun never could. It also requires a crap ton of practice to hit crossbow shots consistently/reliably.
I would love if they buffed the other weapons, I would use a primary or melee that gave me flame resistance.

It would be op to have fire resistence in primary or melee, the Vaccinator already give you enough fire resistence but they should implement shoes for primary or melee slot that gives you speed boost and a bit of explosive/fire resistance, also hitting with the crossbow actually need a lot of practice. As a med Main I feel the pain when you don't get protected by your teammates :c
@@bleyzerplayz just undo the stupid nerf of the Vaccinator and instead make it unable to charge Ubers while a shield is active, wich is the main reason for it to be banned everywhere.

Regarding the crossbow, it would be very difficult to change it without causing people to go nuts about it, but I do believe it's an issue that it provides such powerful healing and damage to medic. I don't think buffing the syringes is the way to go, though. The syringes are fine as is, they're meant to be defensive tools, and putting on a level where they're as viable as the crossbow would be too much.

Maybe every primary could be a Crusader's Crossbow. (With different stats)
Every gun had 38 ammo, had the same projectile speed etc.
For example so that the Blutsauger had these stats:
-30% damadge
On hit: up to 25 hp
And the stock would be the crossbow.
The overdose would have its speed passive with -15% damadge
And the crossbow had its own upside and downside. (maybe penetrate players and had less ammo idk)
So we would have not to look at the same weapons the entire time.
Ik its confusing but it made sense in my head. xd

CroakyEngine i think no one’s talking about it because medic is a class that leaves nothing to the imagination... no one complains about medic being OP or UP or having crutch weapons .
In my opinion the crosbow is the 1 thing that makes medic super fun. I'ts just so satisfying to safe your soldier teammate at 5 health about to die from damage. I'ts like getting your first trickstab, getting an airshot and getting that perfect meatshot.

I love playing medic so much. It was the only class I could actually play with on my shitty pc back in 2013. Definitely one of the most satisfying classes. Great video, keep up the good work
The ubersaw is probably the best option, but I also like using amputator. It's great for getting yourself out of sticky situations with the extra heal and the heal taunt can be useful if you know how to use it.
Yeah go to a -1 server and use the amputator taunt to kill your allies.😈

I really enjoyed this video. The only issue with the medic is that all his primary and melee weapons are outshined by one from each category. I also enjoyed how fearless you were as medic. I tend to play much more passively to have the cluch über ready. That said the team you were playing against didn't seem like the most formidable so it was pretty okay to mess around.

One thing I would add is that while you went over primaries, the ubersaw also simply outclasses the other melee weapons, just like the crossbow outclasses the other primaries. it's similar to how the gunboats and escape plan are the general best weapons for a soldier. Sure the market gardener might get you a lucky key pick, and sure the shotgun and banners are viable for pocket, but the gunboats still outclass them.

Give needleguns a buff similar to the mantreads buff in the JI update. Have them let medics surf with something like 200% more control and height. For example, if you've got the needlegun on, you can't range heal your teammates, but if you're standing in choke on process and you surf a rocket, you're able to fly to the second point, or to shutter, or rollout. Safety from enemies vs Reward and buff to aggressive play (Your team can push aggressively, take a lot of damage, and be healed up really fast).

The syringe gun's needles don't need healing abilities; the syringe guns could be given an alt fire that is similar to the crossbow to put it on the level of the crossbow.

I used to play Medic all the time, every time I booted up the game. But recently, I wanted to get better at TF2 on a whole scale, so I started playing classes I never touched, like Scout, Solly, and Demo. It's gotten to the point where it feels like I don't main anything, because I switch it up so much. But this video really made me want to go back to my roots, and play as my team's bitch. I had lots of fun playing classes that get frags, but it's time to be back in the healing field, assisting new players and alike to get frags of their own. I hear the cries I dread, but yet lust for... "MEEEEEEDIIIIIIIC!"

I personally prefer the Amputator. Having a backup way to save the team or myself after a W+M1 Pyro flares everything is always nice. Plus, the Vaccinator charges so ridiculously fast that by the time you pull out the Ubersaw (wich by the way I absolutely despise), crit someone with it and holster it you could already have gotten another two charges.

Something they could do is add an alt-fire to the syringe guns which sends out a burst heal at close/mid range. This would give them the same burst-heal power, maybe even more reliable, but you don't have the Crossbow's range to it, which is the downside.
They could even make it so the alt-fire shoots a heal-and-damage shotgun blast, which would be pretty cool.

Crit heals are a LOT more game changing in highlander. You can easily be more aware of your teams health and know exactly which class took the real beating, and which is safe enough to leave for 10 secs. In casual, your team gets pissed and camps around the medium health kit eight miles from the front lines, and decoding the mess of which gibus pyro to heal first and later is a lot harder

When a medic runs at you with their melee out and your a soldier under 195 health with no ammo inside the launcher, your screwed

As a Medic main myself, I like to bhop for rollouts and escapes too. I also think Ubersaw is overrated asf and I use bonesaw, solemn vow or amputator but notthe vitasaw. Vitasaw is a crutch for bad Medics and it relies on you to die by lowering ur hp to 140

On medic primary balance: I think they should make the crossbow deal a flat 50 damage and have the heal range from 50 - 75, that way its damage is curbed a bit and it doesn't instantly put soldiers at full health at max range. And it doesn't simply become better than the medigun when it can't crit heal at close range. 50's still as strong as a sniper bodyshot, and it'll be more effective for self-defense at close range rather than sniping at people retreating.
For the syringe guns, change the max damage fall-off to 80% to compete in mid-range spam with the crossbow and to better deal with escaping new pyro. Autoreload would be nice, but I think the increase in effective damage is enough since it has a large magazine.
I would say simply remove the autoreload on the crossbow and that may be enough to balance it, but I don't hate fun.
imho autoreload on the other syringes would be nice at least
afaik shield bashes only boost you with the quick fix, just like jumps do. Like, a soldier can hit incredible speeds on rollout, but without the QF he can't take you with him even when he's moving horizontally.

I heard a buff for syringe guns that may be good. It was for every syringe hit gives you 2% Uber. I know higps is doing good work with his balance mod in some areas.
