I'm so proud with all UAW members for all the incredible work and sacrifices you all made to STAND UP against corporate greed, Reaganomics has beat the working class folks for 40 years but organized labor is finally turning the tide against the greed of those who think the working class aren't worth the hard work that makes them rich. THANK YOU

Reagan certainly didn't help us, that's a given. But why not mention Bill Clinton signing off on NAFTA too? That's been a much larger dagger into us American autoworkers than Reaganomics. Why not mention Obamacare? It penalizes us American autoworkers for having a "Cadillac health care plan." Why not mention all the inflation caused by Biden's policies? Or Biden allowing millions of illegal immigrants into our country, depleting our resources we use to take care of our own poor and downtrodden, and all but destroying our standard of living. I've been an autoworker nearly 27 years, and no one has done less for us, and done more to hurt us, than Democrats. Doesn't matter how much money we get up front when Democrat policy and/or inaction takes most of it our of our backsides.

Without a defined pension agreement they haven’t got anything. Pensions are worth millions. Wages are worth thousands. If I was a UAW member I would have rather taken less pay and got a good pension. Very little is being said about the pensions or lack of them.

Once again, trades got screwed. Production workers have nearly caught trades in hourly wages. And a great contract if you're a temp worker. So congrats to them. On top of that, we basically got back what we were owed due to lousy contracts and caving negotiators in the past...and have to wait another 4.5 years to get all of it. No for me.

But the people that have been here and gone through the bankruptcy and gave everything up get 10% year one and 25% total in 4 1/2 years? I am all in favor of everyone making the same money but the last 2 contracts have favored the newer people and not the people that were there while the bad times were happening.
