After signing up the workers that I could at 4 of the locations, the owners wife who did payroll didn't implement the program. I luckily had a lot of individual clients but I still ended up losing my car with about 15 payments on it because my other clients money went to Aflac to pay back the advance I had gotten. The big aspect of WW2 lend lease and America being the Arsenal of democracy is that in order for Britain to avail of this assistance she had to divest herself of all her Gold reserves and most of her industries shareholdings which were bought at bottom dollar by Americans thus bankrupting the UK. Rationing continued in the UK until 1953 because she was basically broke. Europe had to wait until FDR secured a 3rd term as president in 1941 until the USN took on protecting shipping in the western atlantic from Uboats. Moreover, your side has been foolishly chanting for the mass importation of workers flooding the supply making it cheaper for corporations (the only true beneficiaries of these policies)--reducing the bargaining power of workers and unions directly. I once sold Aflac for a while. With hard work within a few months I landed a big contract with a Japanese restaurant that had 2 locations in my state, 3 in a neighboring state and 1 in another state. I met with the male owner who signed off on the contract. I was given a big advance by Aflac. But when I started to sign up their workers, many were not here legally and didn't speak English. After signing up the workers that I could at 4 of the locations, the owners wife who did payroll didn't implement the program. I luckily had a lot of individual clients but I still ended up losing my car with about 15 payments on it because my other clients money went to Aflac to pay back the advance I had gotten. I thought about calling ICE on the restaurant, but quickly realized that it would hurt the workers, and the owner would just get more workers to replace them. Wash rinse repeat. I mean look at him, at his age, he got a lilly white face, beautifully groomed beard and hair, and a pot belly. does he look like someone who does actual field work?
Ahahahahahahaha
“You have more in common with every immigrant than you do with a single rich person”! That’s exactly what people need to realize but very few do.
For decades Irish people used to vote for two centrist parties with a strong interest in the landed and property owning classes, many still vote like their parents did in spite of being 1 or 2 generations from the land and rural communities.
Even now many people still choose parties and policies at odds with their own best interests, voting for rich mans parties and same old policies or not bothering to vote at all.
You are exactly correct!
Because the American dream is to be that rich person, nobody wants to focus on the bad part.
@mostconsideratelecher I believe the point is that your 90% sell their labour for the things they need to survive. Their concerns are higher wages. Exactly like most of us.
The rich and politicians concerns are higher profits, predominantly through lower wages paid to their workers.
Thus, the statement we have more in common with an immigrant than a rich person is not inaccurate
Oopsies. It’s almost like MAGA should’ve thought about the bigger, wider picture of a Trump presidency. You reap what you sow.
MAGA Framers: Depot the immigrants!
MAGA Deports immigrants.
MAGA Framers: No! Not my immigrant!
It really is baffling that farm owners are so anti-immigration. It basically translates to them proudly shouting, “I hate my hard working employees that I barely pay! Won’t someone please come along and arrest them all!”
I genuinely don’t understand what they thought they stood to gain.
Put this on a tshirt
Farmers are hypocrites and useful idiots
they finally can go back to the old west where they were self sufficient and ate each other like the "communism" they laugh at.
He's a typical Conservative. They don't care about an issue until it affects them.
He ran on deportation!!!That was his claim to fame. You voted for him!?!?The stupidity is terrifying.
But so predictable.
"But he is only going to get rid of the BAD immigrants" -my friend who voted for trump
@@Aaron_Hayman I keep hearing this too, but that's not what trump ever said, nor his policy makers. They just assume it's the "bad ones" - like there's tons of immigrants here committing mass crime. And that trump is going to hand-pick the "good ones" to stay and do our labor. Well, it's fafo time.
Tough you people will pay the most because repugnants tend to be poorer by far than the rest of us
Not just deportation. Tariffs. So when we slap big tariffs on China, guess what they're going to do? Put huge tariffs on American soybeans and pork and everything else our farmer need to export.
So then Trump will have to give out billions of taxpayer money to farmers which will in turn drive inflation back up, on top of the huge price increases for food caused by not enough workers.
I was raised on a farm. It’s hard work but so rewarding. We couldn’t have farmed as efficiently without the seasonal help from temporary Mexican workers. They were invaluable and good humans.
I’ll never understand why people have to hate.
Were these temporary Mexican workers properly housed, fed, and paid, or did your family get a discount because they were undocumented?
@@joeylaramie7398 Business will flood south….. Yupp, farmers! Pack up your lands!! Lets head south!!🤦♂️Many US companies have already had presence in Mexico, like Ford. Almost 100 years.
@@joeylaramie7398 You obviously aren't familiar with the topography of Mexico.
@@joeylaramie7398 They already do...genius. ffs You really just commented on feelings alone and didn't even bother to put thought into what you were talking about.
Because Americans would be working those jobs if you paid them a proper wage, not $10/hr like you would with “temporary Mexican workers”, ofc they’re invaluable. You probably paid them next to nothing
A little too late to do the right thing now..
And so it begins. You get what you vote for, folks
a once again reminder that immigrants help build this country since the beginning .
@@josephmedina6403they either don’t know that or willingly forget that
@@josephmedina6403so did hard working American farmers
@@hommie422 The indigenous natives were the ones who actually taught "American" farmers how to farm and how to survive the harsh winters in this country.💯
@fifigurl2011 so they only grew potatoes in Europe? And it was always summer there?
They’re consumed by hatred, and they only see what they want to see: how it affects them.
Oh no! The consequences of my own actions!
perfect pfp/comment synergy
You voted for this now work your 23 hours a day picking your own crops lol his farms gonna be torn down and made into a parking lot
So, they didn't care about their workers BEFORE they voted, but somehow now they care?!?! Oh yeah, it's hitting those pockets...🤣🤣🤣
I'm convinced that making people miserable/fearful was the point. I'm disabled from birth and both of my parents voted for Trump. Every "policy" that man has touched is full of bigotry and outright hatred. I feel sorry for the migrant workers, not the farmer.
Cruelty is the point! Never forget that
I'm sorry that your parents did that.
@@oliviawolcott8351 Thank you.
Your parents tho🤦♀️????Trump suggested his very own nephew die because he was born disabled....
Unbelievable and Sad
Stay Strong❤🙏🏼
Give your disability checkes to immigrants then
Wanted: 20 million farmers.
Applicant: 0 MAGA applicants
Why: Lazy, no skill, always whining , abnormal behavior etc..
"Abnormal" as in weird? 😂😅
This is EXACTLY what you voted for
