    I own one and have had it for about 2 weeks and love it, some people have hated on it and i cant see why, i will say watching some terrestrial SD tv it looks ok nothing special, some cartoons look awful but i assume that has to do with the broadcasting format as dvd's and youtube/Netflix/PS4 look spot on. The cable management is grate, no mas of cables hanging from the back. Id say a lot of fan boys of other brands hate on it just because it not a Sony/LG or whatever. My last Samsung lasted 8 years and still works fine i just wanted a smart tv, if this last that long im happy

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +Syler1979 first off I want to humbly thank you for watching my video. it means so much to me don't forget to hit that subscribe button. First off everything will look beautiful if you set the settings to the right specs. Except really old standard-definition maybe haha. check out my other settings video hopefully it should help you with that😁 so you are spot on what I have realized about this world is people will never be happy for you. when you're happy with something they want to put it down. have you ever bought a new car and showed it to your friends and seen them genuinely excited for you lol. maybe sometimes it happens most of the time as soon as you leave everyone talks about what a piece of crap car you chose. jealousy is a disease this is a great TV. anyone who tells you otherwise has no idea the truth. enjoy what you work hard to get you deserve it. this TV will last you forever and this is just fact.Samsung is the number one manufacturer and makes the best Tv's. People often judge TVs when they're not using them correctly. that's not fair to the TV. proper HDMI cables direct sources actually watching 4K these are all things that really make a difference in the TV's performance. unless someone truthfully puts the TV through the paces it's hard for them to talk bad about it. thank you so much so so much for watching. And don't worry I'm extremely happy for you end of to hear that you enjoy your TV. if you ever need any help or have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. definitely check out those other videos get some settings help😁 happy holidays

    Great video with some useful info, thanks!! I got my QLED at the beginning of the month and I’m really enjoying it. One thing I can’t figure out and is driving me crazy.... when in game mode the quick settings screen will not show you when you are in hdr. I’ve tried doing the button with the 4 dots and hitting info, but nothing seems to happen. The only way I can get the info bar to display is to turn the tv off and then turn it back on so it pops up. I might have to call Samsung... Any idea on another way to see the input info? I’ve tried googling it, but no luck...

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад +1

      +Lezaris first off Thank you so much for the support and watching my channel. It means so much to me I hope you will consider subscribing😁 I definitely can help you with that. So there's a few things that have to happen in order for that to take place. when the signal is HDR it will and should show in the Quick Settings menu. First and foremost you want to redo the HDMI setup power on all devices and then run it through the initial setup again so that each HDMI port recognizes what system you are running. Next make sure that you have a high-quality HDMI cable capable of 18gbs 4K HDR. Once completed go into your tv make sure it's software is up to date. Now the next crucial step is to turn on UHD color for each HDMI port. on this TV all four need to be turned on. On the game console if it is ps4 pro set all of its settings to auto. do not force it into a format. Xbox x or s set it to 4k and the highest bit format. Remember not everything is 4K compatible it has to be putting out HDR. once hdr is being displayed HDR will now be in the Quick Settings menu and show. I again want to thank you so much for your support. I really appreciate you. I want to make sure we get it working for you. So if you have any other questions please reach out to me. if it still doesn't work we could try some other troubleshooting. but at the end of the day with hdr image it should say hdr. When the TV first released this did not happen but with the latest tv update it should.

    • @sv61786
      @sv61786 6 лет назад +1

      Jb TechFanatic did a factory reset on the tv, and now it’s showing hdr. Guess something was just funky in the settings.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад +2

      +Lezaris that is awesome ! The trick is letting it recognize the source. Powered on plugged into HDMI it actually searches for the device online and adjust according . Then you can also use your one remote to conttol everything etc etc. So when you reset and start over it searches installs and adjust 😉 I'm very excited for you that you can enjoy your tv just a little more. Also one more tip is you can use the voice function on your one remote to turn game mode on and off😁 if you every need anything just reach out! Thanks again so much for your support!

      On this model the only mode you will have a pointer is the web browser. With more options using your phone as the remote through Samsung SmartThings. The 2015 remote will work and has a pointer if you had a old Samsung tv🤔

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  4 года назад

      Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm honored by the support😇🙏 never a stupid question on my channel I'm here to help HDR is not activated it will activate once you put HDR into your TV example a 4K HDR Blu-ray player playing and HDR capable video the TV will automatically display HDR. A lot of people confuse 4K and HDR thinking they're the same they are actually different things but kind of go hand-in-hand with each other there is 4K HDR content on Netflix or you can watch 4K HDR Blu-rays on an Xbox S or Xbox x as well as 4K Blu-ray players I have a whole bunch of videos on the qled TVs and you can actually follow the settings for yours to maximize your picture ect here is a link to one that I think might help
      ruclips.net/video/h4VPfv0mWrI/видео.html
      remember you need to have HDMI cables that are compatible with 4K HDR as well as some sort of outsourced or streaming service😉 reach out anytime with questions

    Good video, man. I’m looking at buying the Q7F myself. I’m finding it kind of hard to justify paying close to double the price of the MU8000 for this TV, but truth is, Samsung’s Q series have the best pictures I’ve ever seen. LG’s OLEDs are certainly close, but the colors just pop more on these. In the end, it’s probably worth saving for a few more weeks to get the TV I truly want.
    I didn’t know about the bluetooth headset feature or the phone mirroring. Good to know! Especially the headset bit, since it means you can just have one pair of headphones for both the PS4 and Xbox One.
    Also, hang in there, man. Hope you get better soon.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад +1

      +spooky electric first off I just want to thank you so much for supporting my channel. And for your kind words or encouragement. That headphone feature is so awesome. I like you enjoy games and it's just nice being able to basically choose any nice Bluetooth headphones you want at anytime no matter if you're playing your Xbox or Ps and use them and not have to worry about putting them into your controller or anything of that nature. Another part that's really awesome is watching movies at night when everyone is sleeping or just to give you an example. I have kids I watch movies that they probably should not hear the words to LOL. so me and my wife can have headphones on and watch the movie and not have to worry about cussing or whatever. The mirroring is awesome if you have a favorite game on your phone or just surfing the web etc. we often if we have an event or whatever and we film some stuff. we watch it as a family on the TV from the phone instead of everyone huddling around the phone and watching it you just throw it straight to your TV and everyone can watch. it's pretty awesome and it works so amazingly well. That is what really makes it awesome. The unfortunate part about tech is the price always. Don't get me wrong the MU8000 TVs are great TVs. And I'm sure many people will be extremely happy with that TV. I guess I'm a little weird with tech. Not just now but Ive just always a Believer save up for what you really want. Now that I'm sick I guess I've changed in the sense I just get what I want it's more of that how much longer will I be your complex I guess. And in this case example if it is the MU then you buy it and you're perfectly happy. but if you like the mu but you really want the qled. you have to just save up or find a way. that way you don't have that little voice in your head saying God I wish I had the qled lol. you know it's kind of like something stupid like buying the PlayStation 4 and Just knowing the PlayStation 4 Pro is out even if you don't want to justify the price difference. I'm a man and it just kind of bothers me a little bit that there is a slightly better version. Even if I don't need it or necessarily want it I feel like I have to have it. Especially if I already have the one that's not as good LOL. at least that's how I am and it sucks haha. And it seems that manufacturers play to that sense now that things come out every single year instead of every two. I have noticed lately that the qled TVs have some really good prices I've seen the 55 inch down to $1,400 now don't get me wrong that's still a ton of money but half of what it was a few months ago LOL. A little secret is a channel called HSN. You can make payments with no interest no credit and they ship you the new items with only the first payment and then they break it into up to 6 what they call Flex payments or more. Sometimes their products are more expensive on that website or show but sometimes they have really good sales and they give you 6 Flex pays. But all in all the best thing is when you work hard and you finally get something that you really want you just enjoy it so much because you know you earned it it's something you really wanted and let's be honest who doesn't love some awesome brand new tech to show off. Also I just seen that Sam's Club has or had the mu8000 65 inch for like 1100 bucks for that price I'd be happy with the MU LOL. Anyway if you ever need any help please reach out and again I thank you so much for the comment and the support you have a good holiday season. I'm sorry for the long blabbing text I get to talking I guess bored laying in bed 🤐

    • @spooky_electric
      @spooky_electric 6 лет назад +1

      Jb TechFanatic Yeah, I’m the same way, man. Like I’m watching reviews of the MU8000, and it seems good... but I know the Q7F is better so I end up watching videos on that and then I’m back to square one, haha.
      It just feels like a bigger expense after spending $500 on the Xbox One X recently, but I need a TV that’ll get the most out of it!
      Also, happy holidays to you as well!

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад +1

      +spooky electric that's funny so funny. I think all of us are men we really are hard wired differently. that's why women can't stand us haha. The only advice I can offer bro the Xbox x on the qled is insane. I'm not just saying that that's either. what drives me crazy about doing you tube. I literally only say things that I truly think. like if Samsung made a TV and it sucked I would say in my video hey everyone I bought this TV and it sucks haha. But you do a video and people just assume that you're telling them that their TV sucks. And in this case I'm saying vthe qled is the only good TV. and that's not what I'm trying to achieve at all. I'm just trying to say hey guys this is a great TV. I have to kind of tone myself back. but the God's honest truth is when I turned on the X and the TV and I spent all that money on the X. I really inside thought I was going to be disappointed. I put on my new game Assassin's Creed my wife walks in the room and says what movie are you watching. And then of course that just Amplified my excitement by like a million because she can care less haha. And if she was impressed I just couldn't imagine what people would be if they actually saw it. Remember most people that comment on stuff and talk crap about stuff have never actually had these TVs in their home using them on a day-to-day basis. It's hard because you can't go into a store and really get what it's going to be like in your day today use their set up differently they're all on different settings they're not said to your preference. So when you get them home and you hook them up and you get it set up the way you like to your eyes you're in heaven. And I swear I don't care what any tech review says what anyone has written about backlit and edge-lit and all this nonsense because the truth is no matter what it says on paper Samsung hit a homerun this year with this TV. Maybe they should pay me for all the love I give them haha. but they better keep them coming because if they make garbage. I will be the first one to say it's garbage. And I love the Xbox X also.Hats Off to Microsoft for really coming through.

    I love the soap opera effect on my current tv. I know most hate it but I love it. Does this tv have good soap opera effect if I want it? My older samsung I just turn it on auto and it looks like how I want it. Still the case here? Thanks.

    Welcome aboard! And nice video. You made very good points about the Qleds except they are grossly overpriced! That kind of money I've got to have an Oled and take my chances with burn-in or peak brightness. This year I did purchase the Samsung ks8000 and I love this tv. No problems even with the massive firmware updates. I also have a Panny st60 that's still going strong. Love to compare the two. Side note: The plasma keeps my bedroom nice and warm. :)

      elijah jackson thank you so much for watching my video and supporting my channel. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it please don't forget to hit that subscribe😁 I love the qled but I own many TVs. I am addicted I guess haha. I will be uploading my video on the curved 8500 which is one of my favorite TVs. Samsung's higher-end curved TVs are so awesome. they're abgreat conversation peace.They have beautiful pictures. Also they have come way down in price. Definitely are a must look at TV. The qled started out very expensive just like every TV does. But with the sales right now in my humble opinion. I feel that the price is fair considering. I mean you can get a 55 inch for about 14 to 1500 right now which is way less than it was when it launched. LOL not to say any of this stuff is cheap by any means I mean it's all extremely expensive. I paid a arm and leg for my Q9 haha. Plasma TVs were my favorite TV. I think that plasma technology is actually the best technology that exist. If they did not die off and keep getting better Omg those TVs would be blowing every other TV away. And that's just a fact they were heavy but you just can't compete with plasma. I mean could you imagine 4K plasma TVs they would be spectacular. And the God's honest truth is whether it be OLED or qled LCD LED everyone has been chasing the blacks and response and refresh rates of plasmas. But that's why I love technology there's something for everyone. Everyone's allowed to have their own opinion and I love it all. And it's just fun because at the end of the day it makes people happy. Life is short and I'm just so happy new Technologies keep battling it out each year that's a win for the consumer. And when you spend your hard earned money and you lay down at night and you look at something that is just beautiful😁 it just makes you smile. All you can say is that looks so badass! it just makes it all worth it. Thank you again so much for watching my channel and for your comment I look forward to speaking again at some point if you ever need any help please reach out!

    Do you have any insight or assumption what Samsung will bring in 2019 for their Tv and how it will differ from Q9F. HDMI 2.1?
    Keep up the great work

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  5 лет назад +3

      They shocked the world and already released their 8k TV in the last few weeks. The price is completely unrealistic but it is for sale on Samsung.com. but you will see 8k and mirco led take place and "the wall' will be for sale. In the next 2 years I think QLED will completely take over other manufacturers will copy. and OLED will be completely gone in 4 years. it just has low market share. I do believe that hdmi 2.1 will peek its head but probably only 1 port same as the 8k TV has. It is all about cost on this aspect and it wont go full scale until it has enough things to plug in that actually use 2.1 lol
      My Thoughts anyway 🤫😇 thank you so much for your support

    Just subscribed. Thanks for your videos I've found them extremely helpful. The one question I have been struggling with is should I go with the Samsung QLED q7, q9 or the LG OLED b7? I would use this tv mostly for TV, Movies and gaming on occasion (Xbox one x). But i feel some of the most important features to me are input lag and response time, picture quality, reliability, actually you answered my question toward the end of the video. So the big question is the q7 vs the q9 and I'm thinking of the 75". What are your thoughts?

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      First of thank you so much for your support and the sub! I'm so grateful!! So this is a easy one. Q9 if money is not a issue q9. My fav tv i own is the q9. As far as lag and response time the q7 and q9 are among the best zero issues here. So for gaming, movies qled just awesome! Just like most things in this world more expensive in the same line usually just means even better .so q7 amazing tv and q9 even more so lol. that's the easiest way to say it. So my 75 inch i have about 10 ft of viewing distance so depending the size of your room 65 to 75 should be decided. Not sure if you saw my xbox x video its with the q7f but here is the link ruclips.net/video/ssj1V-eFa4c/видео.html All the products you listed are great products and people can argue all day about what they like. So i'm sure you will be happy but i recommend Q7 and if you have the budget q9.

      Awesome thank you I'm waiting for my Xbox one ex to get here but in the meantime I have a Samsung UH 850 monitor screen and was wondering the best way to set up my Xbox one S to that to get the best picture in quality in the meantime until I wait for the Xbox one ex? I see it has two HDMI ports in the back I was just curious if one of them is different than the other and if I needed a specific HDMI cord to maximize its potential? Also if you know if thing about the settings if there something I can change on the monitor or the Xbox to maximize it that would be super helpful! Again thanks in advance.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +Brigham Lindsay yeah no problem let's see if we can get you set up. so there is one HDMI in and then one HDMI out. The HDMI in is for your cable TV provider or satellite. It's called a pass through it will also put out a pretty nice picture for TV viewing. so let's just take for example and say you have Dish Network. you would take Dish Network HDMI out from their box into the hdmi-in on your Xbox One S. Then you would need another HDMI cable of high quality of course from the HDMI out to your monitor or tv. Once that is complete go ahead and set up your TV settings inside of your Xbox S. you can also make it where you just turn on the Xbox and it will turn on your TV or monitor and your dish box with a channel guide and DVR function remember the Xbox is a multimedia Powerhouse. Once that is complete go into your Xbox One display settings change it to auto-detect and RGB mode since it's a monitor. Once that is complete you can actually use the Xbox to help calibrate the best picture to your liking with its calibration tool. It will tell you what to set the brightness to turn the contrast and so on and so forth. You should be able to get a pretty good picture especially since the monitor is smaller that actually helps picture become more crisp because there's not as much size to fill up. as far as pixels and such. I'm sure you'll be more than happy with your experience until your new Monster X arrives. let me know once it does. I can help you once you get your TV. We should be able to get you fixed up with 75 inches of beauty LOL. I hope you are having a amazing day let me know as questions arise 😁 or if I missed any of your questions.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад +1

      +Michael Cuollo thank you so much for watching my videos I appreciate you please don't forget to hit that subscribe button. The q9 is a wonderful TV. it is my favorite TV that I own and have ever owned. is it worth the price difference absolutely. but not everyone can afford the price difference. the market is full of beautiful TVs that are high-dollar. BUT will you love the q9. yes if you can afford the q9 over the Q7 should you get it absolutely. what's the difference lots of Reasons. main ones it's got a 240 hertz native panel versus 120. Of course it's faster and more fluid and even brighter nits. The blacks are deeper and the hdr is more advanced. So is it worth the price difference my q9 is 75 in. so you should see any flaws. But no you don't it's beautiful. there for it makes all the difference in the world at that size. 55 inch versus 55 inch you might as well save the money and get the q7f. Q7f in my opinion especially with the sales going on right now just can't be Beat for the money. I'm seeing 55 inch sales for $1,300 that's insane for this TV. So to get to the point yes the q9 has better specs. but it is also much more expensive. the q9 is my favorite TV that I have ever owned but I think the Q7 is an amazing TV also. Meaning I truthfully believe you would be happy with either. Again thank you so much for watching.

    Hi JB i need an advise by you, actually two different questions: when i activate the "hdmi UHD" function on the hdmi connected to my xbox one, the colours get less deep, i would say less colourful, do you knwo why? Another question is about the smart view function: whenever i try to cast live tv program with Smart view (especially football matches) using my galaxy s8, i have some stutter and lags, the image is not fluid...why? Shouldnt be smooth? With youtube seems to be ok, so the problem is the live tv streaming...i'm wandering whther the usb-c to hdmi samsung adapter would fix it or maybe a google Chromecast, and what does it change between those two "gadgets"...thank you for the help!

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +Angelo De Matteo first off I would like to thank you so very much for watching my video and supporting my channel and would be honored if you'd consider hitting that subscribe button to help me grow😁 okay so a couple things first off the reason why the color seems to go down when you turn on the HDMI UHD is because it changes your settings back to stock. when that happens you need to go back into your picture settings after activating and re-adjust them. Also it is extremely important that you have a 4K hdr 18gbs HDMI cable. in addition to that after turning it on make sure to reset your Xbox to the maximum resolution settings allowed including the 12 bit depth color. also in the settings on the TV switch to Native color scheme and dynamic this is going to give you the deepest colors. When it comes to screen share the problem is can actually be your Wi-Fi router. Make sure your TV and your essay are both on the 5 gigahertz Network this is going to give you maximum performance. I'm not sure which one you have but it is using WiFi direct to communicate. best thing you can do is reset your modem and router every few days to give a fresh connection. if you don't have the fastest router in the world and a lot of things are connected at the same time it's going to give you issues. Hardwiring anything together of course is going to give you a better experience except for the hassle of connecting it LOL. as Wireless no matter how good it is is always ceptable 2 interference. So you can either get the USB type-c adapter or get the Dex by Samsung
      if you want to do it that way. Buy if it was me I would just try to mess with the settings of your router make sure everything is connected as stated above. in fact would you mind telling me what router you have I can probably help or at least let you know if it's capable? Google Chromecast this is a great one my absolute favorite I love it if you do get one grab yourself to 4K of course you'll love it it's fast fun and fluid and puts out a beautiful picture. As far as what it changes it lets you do certain things with streaming like being able to use Google home to cast things to your TV or turn your TV on by voice from your Google home speaker and besides that it's just a really nice 4K HDR streaming device. But again as stated before internet speed is so important and your modem and your router makes such a big difference in your experience. Let me know what modem and router you use if you would like me to look at what we can tweak on it other than that if you have any other questions or I did not answer them to your needs please feel free to continue to ask whatever you need thank you again so very much for being a part of my channel.

    Great Video, Thanks for Sharing.
    Now about Oled and Plasma, I have a Pioneer Plasma 50" which was the biggest size back 11 years ago. I played all kinds of PC Games for hours at a time and never had a burn in.
    I think when it came to plasma, their was a break in period of 200 hours before a burn in could take place very easily if you were not careful. So i made sure during the first 200 hours not to play for to long, not to pause the TV for to long. Mind you, back then, there were no screen savers to save your behind if you left the TV paused for to long, or any self healing properties like the LG Oled Tv's Bring.
    Not sure if the same rule will apply to Oled's? The 200 hour break in period rule?
    I have seen Oled next to the Sony 930E and I have to tell you. LG Oled blew away the Sony 930E in picture Quality.
    I'm am not getting these high brighness features that people are raving about. Who really watches Bright Blinding TV anyways?
    I'm going to subscribe to your channel, I am hoping you have some good info on the LG Oled TV you have 😁
    Does LG Support Bluetooth Head Sets As well? I would imagine so since their soundbar has Bluetooth Connections?
    Thanks for the video. I am still leaning towards the Oled, because I Love my HD 4K Movies and those bad blacks LED TV's have always had , has been an issue for me.

      +EL EVO first off I want to thank you so much for your support it means a lot to me. So plasmas are amazing TVs bottom line I think that technology was amazing. I actually had a Panasonic Plasma loved it (. So the LG OLED TV has all the features you can possibly want it's just not as integrated with as many other hi end manufacturers like Xbox x. And of course lg doesn't have like the SmartThings ability where you can turn on and off your TV from your Smart Hub from anywhere in the world. and you cannot use the gear S3 to control it and I don't know if it has up to 5 devices controlled with Bluetooth soundshare. I have not found that yet like the Samsung. But yes the LG has lots of amazing features also. But so that I'm clear the qled TV has amazing blacks also. depending on your budget if you opted for the q9 you would be blowing away. This is my opinion but the q9 by far out does the LG OLED. I'm not saying that for any other reason but to let you know the God's honest truth. The blacks are nearly identical except you get far better response times refresh rates and the brightness. Brightness matters if you're in a high light room. That is kind of where I started with my LG OLED and I was having issues with it because the reflection was awful and I just did not have good results the night was okay but the daytime was unwatchable. And I'm talking real world usage obviously when you see demos they look phenomenal a little trick is is these demos are built into almost any TV. you just have to find it and flip it over to demo mode. But I do not think for one second that you would be unsatisfied with the LG in fact you would probably love it very much. But as far as features go yes you get a top-of-the-line OLED TV your going to get top-of-the-line features just slightly different for each manufacturer. as far as Bluetooth and all of that fun stuff goes LG uses something called The Magic Remote which is very similar to the one remote. As far as best TV manufacturers go and screen technology that no one else can touch it goes Samsung than LG. so you're talking the two of the best TV manufacturers on the planet. that's just the facts. The first time I saw the LG OLED TV my mind was blown. That's of course what made me buy it I was not doing RUclips at this time I was just addicted to technology like an idiot decided to buy one TV after another until they just literally had stacked into a pile haha. I had a goal and my goal was to see what was the best for me and then what would people be happy with. That might sound stupid to most people because it's stupid to spend money like that. but my health is bad and I figured what the heck life is so short. I started my RUclips channel to genuinely help people find technology that will make them smile. that's why I am so for everyone buying what makes them happy. I don't try to be the person that argues about 1 technology better than another. As far as OLED goes it will get better as long as it keeps being supported by the consumer. Right now it seems to be going down the same path as plasma. At first the high price tags drove everyone the opposite direction and that's kind of exactly what happened with plasma. truth is plasma still probably is the best technology and the best picture that you could buy if they still made it. I remembered towards the end of plasma Samsung came out with an 8000 series plasma and I swear to you this TV was so beautiful best TV ever but 1080p. but the consumer they all started grabbing LCDs and then LED came and plasma died. But everyone has been chasing plasma results in their screens sense with different Technologies. and that's the truth they have been literally chasing the results of plasma. So I guess my point to you is.. At this we are kind of on the brink of the new TV season for 2018. I have high hopes for both the qled and the OLED series there's going to be Leaps and Bounds made in just the one year time. if you have not purchased yet and you are going to spend a high dollar amount anyway. you might as well go for the new models im 2018 which will be coming in a few short months. Having said that both the qled and the OLED have had some spectacular sales. So obviously I don't know your financial situation but of course that plays a deciding factor into what you purchase. And the best advice I can give you is remember the more expensive TVs are more for a reason. If you want spectacular results by a spectacular TV otherwise you will just have that little unhappiness in your stomach.little things like just a faster processor can be a big deciding factor. if you were to take an old or a cheaper TV and see how slow it is just flipping through the menu compared to the higher-end that would be enough to sell you on the higher dollar version. Also remember real-world results will be different then what you see in the stores and the same TV can very heavily sometimes depending on how it was transported or manufactured. So buy at a place that has a reasonable return or exchange policy and then try it out get one try it if you're not that happy try the other one and whatever one makes you extremely happy that's the one you keep and enjoy. I want to thank you for subscribing to my channel I am honored to have you and I hope I can help you in the future. Now that I have dedicated myself to RUclips hopefully when the new TV season comes I will be able to do videos on more of the televisions as they come due to my health filming the TV's I have already put away is not the easiest thing because I can no longer lift things and I'm hooked to the stupid Ivy most of the time. So moving TVs around taking stuff off the walls and so forth to film these videos is very difficult so now hopefully going forward I should be able to get some more out. But you should know this about me. I am not a so-called fanboy to anything. if someone makes an amazing products I am a fan of that product bottom line. I think the more great products out there the consumer wins. I am not paid off by anyone and I will always share how I honestly feel. no matter what the brand If the TV sucks and it's a Samsung? I will say this is the worst TV ever,😁 happy holidays.

    I just bought a Samsung ELED TV 55" Q7F...got it home from the NEX. carafully put it all together out of the box per the instructions, plugged it in; nothing...it won't turn on and honestly, I'm confused...not hard at 80 but I really want to make this system work...thanks.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  5 лет назад

      Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support. Sorry to hear it wont turn on. 1st step remember the q7f model has two items that must be plugged in the one connect box has its own power plug and the TV has its own power plug next make sure that the one connect cable is going the right direction it has little arrows and it tells one side says TV and one side says one connect box once all of that is plugged in press the power button on the remote if it doesn't turn on sometimes the remote is not synced out of the package so you need to manually turn on the TV this might be the issue and maybe the remote is not telling it to turn on. So go to your television where the Samsung logo is on the bottom. if you put your hand there you will find there is a button go ahead and press that button and this will power on your TV. once you see that you have power you can now sync your remote by pressing the back button and the play button at the same time hold them down until your TV says that the remote is sync let me know if this helps. If you still do not have power plug something else into your outlet and make sure your outlet is working. Let me know 😇

    Can you Share your iPhone screen to the tv without Apple TV ?

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  5 лет назад

      Thank you for watching. I'm honored that you have considered subscribing and took your time to comment 😇 with Samsung TVs you dont need any casting devices to screen share. Example apple TV. Google chromecast etc etc. You have to have a phone that can download Samsung SmartThings app and be compatible with the screen functionality. Apple phones are tricky. First sign up for a Samsung Samsung SmartThings account link your TV. Then download the app in the apple store. Make sure your TV and phone are on the same wifi channel either 2.5ghz or 5ghz. Then you should be able to control your TV etc and hopefully the screen share will be a option with your phone😇 also lots of other cool features will come with the app regardless. But if you had a Samsung phone you get the most. But ita getting better and better with iPhones
      Thanks again for your support

      +Norbert Ganslmeier first off thank you so much for watching my video and the support. I highly appreciate it please don't forget to hit that subscribe button. So basically what is happening is it's getting confused remember if you have it program to control your cable box and you hit info you are asking for the information from your cable box. that's just an example so you need to make sure that you are controlling the TV to get the info about the direct source coming in. Honestly it's a little frustrating. And I'm not too sure why they do that. but I guess at this point it is what it is hopefully it will be fixed with a software update. but a nice thing is if you're running tre hdr content it will tell you right in the area example that says dynamic or standard. But anyway switch it to control just the TV then when you hit the info button it will show what source is putting out I hope this helps a little if you have any other questions please feel free to reach out and again I thank you so much happy holidays!

      +Bananarif first let me thank you so much for watching my video and supporting my channel! I hope you will consider becoming a subscriber and helping me grow my channel😉 the answer is absolutely yes what you would do is just touch your phone to the top of the soundtouch 300 make sure NFC is on and you're ready to rock music from your phone😉 then just set the sound for your Xbox to come out of the TV. otherwise it will just jumble everything together. but technically I guess you can do it that way also if you want to hear both at the same time. It's really easy to do and it sounds awesome if you need any help at all. just reach out to me. I want to thank you again for your support!

      +Bananarif I just realized I messed up and I apologize. your comment on my app came up under the wrong video. now I see that you're probably asking if you can use Bluetooth headphones and listen to your phone and your TV at the same time. I thought you were asking about my Bose soundtouch video. So anyway the answer is most likely no. In my mind I'm trying to think of a workaround for this and I just don't think there really is one. the Samsung Note 8 can put out two separate Bluetooth signals at once however you would have to be miracasting your Xbox to your device. then running Bluetooth out to the headphones and would be really confusing and I don't even know if it would work. when I get time I will try to mess with it and see if I can develop a method to make it work. I apologize for the confusion. One thing that you always can do is download your music app onto your Xbox I'm not sure which one you use or download your music straight to the hard drive of your Xbox and then Bluetooth everything out from your TV. Anyway I will try to work something out and if I figure something out I will let you know😉

    • @JbTechFanatic

      +Bananarif as far as Skype that can all be ran through x box. I use the Kinect. I'm just assuming here about Samsung. but they removed the cameras from the Samsung TVs. I believe because that whole conspiracy theory that Samsung was watching you through your TV lol. my old 8500 from 2 or 3 years ago it had a built-in camera that popped out of the top. Skype was built-in all good but now they remove the cameras and Skype. I think it all has something to do with each other. but since Microsoft is Skype I think you're good with the Xbox and Skype using the Kinect.

      What I recommend is turning all eco solutions off. Then make sure HDMI uhd color is set to on use on 4k HDR 18gbs 2.0 HDMI cables or better. And you shouldn't have issues. Over the 6 months or so I've had a few people have problems. These settings usally cures all. Sometimes people have had to turn local dimming to low. If you have to do so I would ask Samsung for a new one connect box. But since this TV has been out and all the software updates you should be good by just starting with the above. Eco solution off is the biggest factor. It's worth noting I love the q7f and I have had zero issues 😊 thank you again for your continued support 😉

      +Ryan Sadler awesome I did not even know the qled accepted the old hookups like that lol. Anyway it would probably better for you to use an HDMI cable because the TV actually can upconvert the picture. But regardless the key here is to turn off mainly all the new functions. Try this turn sharpness up a little probably to about 30 to 50. I would put back light brightness to 12 regular brightness to -1. Turn off Dynamic contrast UHD color off. then put color to about 55 to 60. Turn off all Eco solution settings. Turn temperature to standard leave tint right in the middle. Turn hdr off turn 16 by 9 ratio off and fit to screen off. Put Dimming Zone to low. Auto Motion off digital clean off let me know how it looks now.

      Jb TechFanatic hey man, I got a HDMI converter for my snes, got picture but after a few seconds all the colours go different shades of green, I've tried different cables so I'm think either the box is faulty or I'm missing some settings.
      blues have now gone pink haha.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +Ryan Sadler you man I'm sorry bro that sucks. you know what that sounds like exactly like in the old days when you would hook up your Nintendo and you would mix up like the yellow cable with the red or have them backwards. I think it's probably the converter. I'm just not real familiar if I'm being honest. I actually have my old NES but I haven't hooked it up in so long but I had kept a TV that has those connections on the back but then we got the Wii U and downloaded all the old games and I got rid of it but either way the cross color is a mix-up in cabling signal somehow. I'm just not sure how to fix it or it might just be a simple your converters bad. I've seen that happen before even though it's brand new it's hard you know such old technology blending with such new technology.

      +Luke Borg the Smart View app should be available to download?. And honestly with the latest update on your phone I think they were supposed to even put it on your phone. Its on the Google Play Market. I searched to see if there was a way to send you a link but I can't find one on the app. I wonder why it's not popping up strange. There's another app you should be able to use though called... Samsung screen share look for the app that was written by Samsung because there's a lot of generic ones lol. Also go to the search bar inside of your phone and see if maybe it's just hidden in the Samsung folder. It's Times Like These I wish I could magically grab your phone and help you fix it right away lol.. it's such a great way to experience your TV. Are you running on 6.0 or 7.1 on the s5?

    Thanks for the video! It’s been tough to find good info in QLED. Could the 5 Bluetooth devices include five speakers for Dolby Digital 5.1, i.e. can the tv act as a wireless audio receiver? Also, at what nit level does the QLED clip blacks?

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      Gabe Trinidad first off thank you so much for watching. I am honored to have you watch my channel and for your support. please don't forget to hit that subscribe button 😁 to answer your first question yes you can run 5 speakers. is it necessarily 5.1 most likely not as each one is running on its own Bluetooth wave. when running 5 speakers through Bluetooth like that. It is pretty typical that you need to also adjust each volume sometimes to sync it up. They are all putting out the same exact sound. Not like when you're running a surround sound each speaker has its own purpose. This function is much better for multiple bluetooth headphones or just general music around the house not as much for surround sound but can be used as kind of a generic surround sound if someone really wanted. Next question Is there a receiver built into the TV. No but sort of it supports full pass through but you need to make the adjustments to Dolby Digital DTS Etc etc. You have to do that manually though. You can run a Bluetooth Soundbar and surround sound at the same time that is petty neat especially if you kind of want to generically create a center channel speaker LOL. So in a way if you have a direct source capable of such sound you can run one cable out from your TV. With its passthrough and it will decode certain sounds and continue to send it out to the system you connected to. BUT it will never give you A full receiver function. But for some people it's probably good enough. But considering the questions you're asking and I'm assuming you're pretty techie and it would not be good enough for you or me either for that matter haha. So the most tricky question is what luminance does this TV start to clip blacks that is extremely difficult to answer and would vary from TV to TV whether you're on HDR and if the TV was handled properly during transport, it would vary pre calibration and post calibration etc etc. If none of the mirroring systems were damaged or moved inside the TV. But let's just say it was a perfect world and everything was simple. So this is a 1500 nit TV with about 90% black uniformity (varies). And that number would sit around 1060 nits with HDR standard mode. Dynamic mode will get you to 1252 non calibrated. But even at full brightness only slight grey effect would appear and would not be noticeable to most people. That is where the local dimming function kind of comes in and plays a role. But some people hate local dimming. I for one like it especially when watching widescreen movies and you have the black bar this allows this TV to keep it solid black in those areas versus slightly Grey. Again these numbers can very heavily and expect next year's models to almost completely match OLED. But also still achieving insane brightness levels. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I hope these answers help you a little bit. I know they're kind of all over the place but I'm just trying to be as honest and helpful as I can. Also if Blackness is extremely important to you and budget is in your favor check out the q9. that gets even brighter and has even better black levels due to a more complex multi-zone Dimming. Again I think you so much and if you want to chat anymore about anything else? Reach Out anytime. I love this stuff😉 happy holidays.

      Jb TechFanatic Thanks! I have some health issues too, and have found great joy in A/V enthusiasm! It would be revolutionary if the 5 Bluetooth could be purposed as independent surround channels. Imagine no wires and no $500-$1000 receiver! I own about all of the 4k UHD HDR blurays, and can identify HDR by eye. I appreciate the higher color volume QLED offers, as most HDR sets colors are too low at “50” to begin with; we need to be thinking 60-75. Increasing saturation also helps blooming, and light “bars” across the screen with local dimming. It is better to treat black and white as “colors”, and not just “contrast”. An example - an HDR highlight is typically defined as “white”, which alters natural color highlights. Imagine an illuminated face, in HDR it can look as half white/half skin (like a phantom of the opera mask). The 100% color volume creates beautiful natural true color highlights. QLED will be really nice in 2018 when Samsung moves on from edge lit to backlit. I just don’t like how they clip blacks, just like how I don’t like how Sony clips bright/whites... FYI - I have a Pioneer Elite “up fired (enabled) Dolby Atmos audio system, and LOVE Atmos! It fundamentally changes movies to the point where you literally have never seen the full version of movies like Mad Max: Fury Road, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, etc.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      Gabe Trinidad that's freaking awesome. yeah I'm kind of a weird person sometimes I turn the color way way way up to like 80. I noticed as long as you're watching a true 4K Source it actually looks really good on these tv's. I'm always messing with all my settings literally obsessed. Tech has got me through some really rough times with my health. Just helps keep my mind off things that's why I like it so much. ATMOS is so awesome I got a pretty mean setup up in my entertainment room. I'm a really big Bose fan and one of my Bose systems I have the wireless back channel speakers which makes it nice. so you don't have to run any wires under the carpet or through the ceiling etc. plus my wife hates wires haha. My problem is I'm always buying different stuff to try it out so the stuff just Stacks up got to start cleaning house and get ready for all the new stuff coming out next year lol. I'm really looking forward to the breakthroughs. But as far as limiting things. I feel like manufacturers almost do it on purpose. because the truth is if they came out with the best thing ever what are they going to come out with next year right. it's just like cell phones the reason why they don't come out with the perfect phone is because what will they come out with next year. Not that the Note 8 is not a freaking awesome phone haha. I think that will always be the reason that nothing is perfect when I'm sure they could build something that does everything. it's all about marketing and what they can sell next year you know. But obviously as I'm sure you can attest to the excitement of the new stuff is so fun.

      Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video. I am honored that you have considered subscribing and taking the time to comment😊 in the video I talk about the smartview app that you download to use screen sharing. However new updates have come out to the TV and you can now use Samsung SmartThings.. First go ahead and download the Samsung SmartThings app your phone. The TV and your phone must be on the same Wi-Fi network and wifi band. Then you would then sync your TV with your Samsung SmartThings. Once that is complete you will have a remote on your phone the remote will have three little dots in the top right-hand corner. When you push those it will give you all your options including screen share soudshare etc. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and your support. Please let me know if there's any other questions.

      I've just ordered shadow of the colossus as I think that is meant to look stunning, then there is Spider-Man.

      +ApxuBbI first off thanks so much for watching my video and supporting my Channel. please be sure to hit that subscribe button😁 just to clarify this TV is capable with all Samsung phones. as long as they have WiFi and or Bluetooth. I hope you will consider subscribing IF you have not already😁 I apologize for the delayed response for some reason your message came up in my spam folder and I did not see it. I'm so sorry to hear you're having issues I know that can be a major bummer. As far as color banding goes i absolutely have not had any. I have 4 total qled TVs and I don't experience that. I have a few video's that might help. Check out my Qled playlists and try my settings see it helps. But It can happen for many reasons 1. Settings 2. Bad HDMI 3. If streaming Wi-Fi Speed dipping. 4. Damage due to improper shipping or handling. Try this quick fix make sure uhd color is on. Make sure your sharpness is at zero and 16.9 and fit to screen is on. Only use branded HDMI 18gbs 4k hdr from a store front. Lots of fake cables and can cause major problems. Don't use auto motion unless absolute need. This tv is a 120 native panel. If nothing else works gets Samsung out to fix it. You deserve to just enjoy not to put up with this nonsense please let me know if there's anything I can do to help and I want to thank you again and sorry it took a few days to get back to you.

      Hi again thanks for your reply,I’ve just contacted Samsung and sent them some videos as examples,hopefully this will be resolved promptly.I did just upload a video on here for people to see what I mean.Would you mind taking a look .The video source is taken directly from the tv not an external source.Perviously I owned the ue55f8000 Samsung led tv and the picture was flawless and never suffered from this problem.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      I just looked at the video. It looks setting related and or source. Did You adjust the settings as I stated? One other setting turn local dimming to low. Was that hd or 4k HDMI or steaming? If I were you this is what I would do I would do a complete manufacturers hard reset on my TV not to be confused with a picture reset. actually the same difference as doing a complete reset of your cell phone. I would unplug the TV and all of the cables and start setup from the very beginning. Then I would set the settings to the perfect settings. I have a few videos with settings but I can help you with these. and watch a 4K Blu-ray coming from a 4K Blu-ray player or the Xbox x. With a very high quality HDMI cables the ones that came with the Xbox x would work or even the Xbox One S. If it does not happen then you know that it's the source and not the TV. Now I assume that Samsung will soon send a tech to your house. Usually their philosophy is they're going to run the test picture that's actually built in to your settings on your TV that you can do yourself if they don't see it in that picture they will blame the source.
      Let me know if you want me to help but make sure also the software is updated to the latest version 1156. I'm so sorry you're having these issues but I'm here to help if you need let me know what Samsung says.

    • @paulkent7562
      @paulkent7562 6 лет назад

      Hi again,the source is actually my Freesat reception which is very strong,I’ve also been getting the same kind of image quality through my Xbox one x so it’s not related to just one source,I have also tried your picture setting and it’s just the same.I suppose the only think I can try is a hard reset.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

    Hi again hope your well and keep up the good work.I have come across another problem which I can’t seem to get rid of.I get this issue on quite a few games,resident evil 7,rise of the tomb raider and most recently sea of thieves.I am getting terrible graphics judder and blurry effects which make me feel almost Nautia’s.Ive spent countless hours trying to get rid of them by messing around with settings on my Xbox one x and tv but to no avail.Have you noticed this at all on your tv or is it possibly a hardware problem,I tried using the motion plus settings for this but all it does is produce an unstable image.I also uploaded a video so you can see what I mean.i have looked on a few forums but I think I’m an isolated case.look forward to hearing from you.

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад +1

      Sorry to hear you are having more issues. Quick question what model TV is that? The stand is completely different than my q7f and the TV looks slightly different? Strange🤔 anyway judder in games like that typically are the game itself. if you've noticed since the Xbox x has come out there is literally patches coming out weekly on the big-name games. this is because fixing glitches in the games. The TV panel itself only displays what it is fed from the HDMI source. this is why no matter what you do to adjust it you are not able to fix your problem. Having said that no TV is perfect but the more money you spend on a TV the better the result. I will be testing and doing videos on the 2018 q9 as soon as it arrives to my house. I will start the videos. If you want close to perfection the newest technology and a technology called VRR variable refresh rate for gaming this will be the ultimate TV. Sometimes if you're extremely picky you got to go with the Top Gun to make yourself happy. To answer your question if I have issues? I really don't with the Q7 but that is not to say everything is perfect on everything. If you want to make do of what you have and get the best performance possible? I highly recommend getting your TV professionally calibrated sounds like it might be worth the money to stop these headaches for you. Also invest in monster black HDMI cables 4K 18GBS hdr. Try turning game mode on on your TV making sure sharpness is turned to zero and Automotion is set to off see if that helps a little bit. But if it's the game itself there is no fix unless they come out with the patch to fix it. I feel bad that you're having such a headache I hope that it gets better let me know if you have any other questions I hope you are well thanks for the comment.

      My tv is the 55” Q7f but the English version.Ive tried all the settings you’ve suggested but had no luck.I actually owned my Xbox one x before I purchased the qled and played it on a Samsung ue55”f8000 tv,it wasn’t 4K but the games I mentioned apart from sea of thieves (because it wasn’t released)played faultlessly with no judder or blur.I really hope I can sort this😬

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад +1

      I see makes sense. But That's why it's so hard to do basic settings because every panel is so different and made in different countries different manufacturing plants. As far as it working Flawless on a 1080p TV is because it's not required to run at such high frame rates and 4K takes so much more. That's why when the x came out they had their 4K updates for the games that were already out and they were massive it's almost like you're playing a completely different game. So now its opening up more faults and unfortunately when you're seeing things in 4k you're actually able to see more problems. because it's so much higher resolution. I really believe the best thing you can do is have your TV professionally calibrated. But bottom line as far as the games go though they're the same game they're a completely different name now that they 4K😐 and I think the frustrations from 1080p to 4K will continue probably for a year or so until they start really figuring out how much power the X really has in the game manufacturers take advantage of it.

    Hi there m8 - It's me again :) The TV (just like this one) are on our wall and it's awesome. Thank you for all good tips and tricks regarding it. But I have a question to you regarding the TV. - For some strange reason our TV sometimes turns itself on (just did now for some few minutes ago) It also happened early one morning whilst we were sleeping. And the sound was also kind of loud. - Do you know what causing this to happen? Maybe even have a "cure" for us? - Best regards from Arnt Petter in Norway

      Most likely it's a smart function. When something you have plugged into it turns on the TV follows? Or do you have 2 Samsung TVs in the house? Do you use the one remote or a different remote?

    • @ArntPetterAndersen
      @ArntPetterAndersen 6 лет назад

      When I am turning the TV and the surround system off at night I only use one remote controll (the one for the fiber-tv decoder). When I turn on the system I need to use both the fiber-tv decoder remote and the surround system remote controll. - I only use the TV-controller when I am using the smart TV functions and watching RUclips videos. - It might be that the surround system are waking up the tv or something? - But it dosen't turn itself on whilst doing so.... Strange things happening her. Maybe it's a poltergeist? :)

      What surround do you use? If you turn off the hdmi cec in the TV the one remote won't turn things on and off.

    • @ArntPetterAndersen
      @ArntPetterAndersen 6 лет назад

      Well, as I didn't have a OPTICAL IN on my surround recieveer it is only one HDMI wich goes from the S.R. to the TV's HDMI. The surround system is a 7.2 Yamaha type: RX-V779

      So you want to make sure that your HDMI is connected to the HDMI 2 Port which is Arc this will allow you to have sound and your surround sound from all HDMI ports. But we got to figure out is why your surround sound is turning on and causing your TV to turn on does it have some sort of music player through Bluetooth setup to it that wakes up the house as an alarm?

    Hi, I buy a Q7F, but when I connect a chromecast 4k, it does not detect the device, it only appears connected in hdmi 2 and the resolution is only 1280x720 / 60p. What I can do?

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +Ivan Navarro first off thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video and supporting my channel. I appreciate you so much! please don't forget to mash that subscribe button😁 okay let's get into your question. so there's a few things you should do to maximize your experience. first and foremost you might want to reset the TV and start from scratch. make sure that everything you will be using on the TV is plugged in and powered on while going through the TV set up. the TV will pick up each item in the HDMI ports and will be able to be controlled by your one remote. it will pick up Chromecast and recognize it. Next make sure to download the Google home app that way you have full control over your Chromecast devices. once you have done that update the software on your Chromecast if needed. Then go to the Google app and set the resolution to the maximum settings. Chromecast Ultra is capable of 4K and HDR however remember if you do not have a fast internet connection a strong Wireless Wi-Fi router you might not be able to pick up or maintain 4K. I have a video that is called are you ready for the Smart Home. That is a informative video and may be if some help. If you're not familiar with all of that networking jargon. But if you are and you have 100 Meg + speed and awesome wifi router. Then once you complete set up you should have no issues whatsoever watching 4K content. Just make sure that you are connected to the 5 gigahertz channel for the best performance. remember not everything is in 4k with the Chromecast Netflix Hulu have some 4K content and then you can buy 4K movies through several different providers of your choice. In addition to all of this remember that in the Smart Hub they do have Google built-in on the q7f TV. The reason why I tell you that is I have a tri-band router and what I do is I connect my TV to one band and my Chromecast to the other band. that way they don't fight with each other since there are literally right next to each other when plugged into the one connect box. I hope this helped you out. And again I want to thank you so much for your support! if you have any other questions please reach out. have a wonderful day.

    What are the differences between the Q7 and Q6? Are some of these features available on the Q6?

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +David Rodriguez first off thank you so much for watching my videos and supporting my channel. I would be honored if you would consider hitting that subscribe button😁 that is a great question😉 the q6 is a decent TV and is very feature-packed. But to me the 2-crucial differences are the native refresh rate is only 60 hertz vs. 120. Also it also only has 120 motion rate vs 240. brightness is not as bright but it's still very bright. Basically just one step down in all the categories. Like the black levels and dimming capabilities to achieve better blacks. But as far as features it does much of what the q7f does. I recommend you going on samsung.com and comparing the specs side by side to see if the value versus the price is worth it for your needs. I want to thank you again for taking the time to leave a comment if there's anything I can do to help please reach out!

      Jb TechFanatic I was looking at getting the q7f 55”because it was priced the same as the 55” q6f . Yesterday I went to Best Buy and now the q6f is selling for $500 less then the q7f. I’m debating if the q7f is that much better or just go with the q6f for now.

      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +David Rodriguez oh okay then I say this without hesitation you want to go with the Q7 the q6 will give you nothing but problems as the native panel is just too slow especially when it comes to gaming and sports. You could just buy the q6 try it out if it just can't give you what you really need return it. I just don't know how picky you are when it comes to frame rates etc and so on. but with high resolution TVs you can see so many more of the problems then let's just say TVs from 3 years ago🤔 I hope this helps you out a little I can help you calibrate the q6 to the best possible if you want to try it first just let me know I'm here to help

    How is the HDR brightness Nits on this Q7F and does it have noticeable blooming? Also how would you compare it with the Sony X900E

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +Will A first let me start by saying I thank you so much for watching my video and supporting my channel it means so much to me don't forget to hit that subscribe button😁 great question so this TV is extremely bright at 1500 Nits. One of if not the brightest in its class. Once the settings are done correctly or even professionally calibrated for the extremely picky. I do not see any clouding, trailing,blooming of any kind. To be quite honest I am extremely impressed and picky. Very similar Technologies in the Sony you know that's kind of a personal preference. A lot of people love Sony Tv's. I do own one just The Next Step Up. I put it in my son's room unfortunately it just went out completely. so I'm not exactly in the right State of Mind to recommend the Sony at this particular moment. Lol but all in all I'm sure it is a decent TV overall and I'm a rare case lol. but would definitely pick up the Samsung instead. You will love the Samsung QLED. Thank you so much let me know if I can help in anyway.

      Thanks for your reply. Long story short, I have had 2 brand new Sony 900e replaced already and I almost went with the X930e but it only comes in a 65". I am looking for a 75" so the 65 was not an option. So my next step was either going with the Sone X940e or go completely to a different brand and style like 75Q7F. I have own both brands, I dont have a preference but I want something that i will enjoy 4k blu rays, netflix and sports. I have till Jan if I want to change my current x900e. Whats your take on the 75X940e and 75Q7f?

    • @JbTechFanatic
      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад

      +Will A if you don't mind me asking do you have the budget to get the 75 in Samsung Q9 it is the best TV I have ever owned and in that size you need really good quality. It literally will make you so happy. is Sony replacing your TVs or are they giving you money back I'm waiting to hear about getting my money back right now on mine because it's not fixable.

    • @willa5180

      I dont mind answering that. No at the moment it is out of my price range. I am still within my return period with Best Buy. I think the most I go in price its around what the Sony 75x940e cost.

      I like HDR and I know the x900e gets bright and I like the brightness and blacks on it. You mention the Q7F its gets bright and has good blacks too and I believe it could be brighter than the x900e.?

      @JbTechFanatic  6 лет назад +1

      Honestly great TV and worth it. but the price is kind of what it is everywhere. I would still buy it if you want it. But if the purchase is simply based off whether or not this sale will be available again then no. it's nothing to like run home and buy it right then and there kind of thing. But it's definitely cheaper than it was at launch😉 now if you're looking to get a soundbar system also I know on samsung.com you get a further discount on a soundbar so that's something to look at. when it comes to finding deals on TVs. I like to look for things like bundles extended warranties or guarantees that you won't find it cheaper on Black Friday which Samsung was or is running on the q9 series. I hope this helps.
