is it possible doing masters in zoology /micro biology / botany and take admission in neuroscience subject for the student.
Yes, it is quite possible. You might have to take a few courses for coming up to speed with the field but you should be okay.

Mahnoor cgpa matters or not?for getting admission in phd
She clearly mentioned she got a gold medal as she stood first in her department. Even though this doesn’t directly imply that CGPA matters but in a way she said that it was a factor that helped her get into the PhD program. But I believe one should also have a strong research background and other necessities to get into such programs. I hope my answer helped.

Your GPA is good and you should definitely apply. Getting in would depend on your overall CV and interview scores. I have explained all the steps of applying and my personal interview experience in other videos on this channel. If you still have questions, please let me know.

did you get into your dphil program based on your excellence in bsc+msc or did you also have to do research projects to get in?? thankss in advance :)
Hi, I had a gold medal in BSc and a high GPA in MS, but I had also done research projects in both degrees and had 2 publications. However, this isnt always strictly necessary. It differs from case to case

Hi, yes I did have 2 publications, 1 as first author and one as a 3rd author

Wow great. You mentioned you have to take the IELTs exam so why the university didn’t give you a waiver for the English language requirement?
When I applied, IELTS was a crucial criteria for visa as well so the university could not waive it. I am not sure if this has changed since I applied (3 years ago)

There is no exam for scholarship. You require IELTS for admission at Oxford

No, I do not think that having a gold medal or 3.9 GPA is the most important thing. While grades are important, they do consider your overall profile, including your participation in conferences/seminars, internships, publications (if any), volunteer work. None of these things are strictly necessary on their own but having a combination of some good skills/experience and good grades can help a lot. Hope that answers your question?
